I've always taken my vehicles to the dealership for service, knowing I was probably being fleeced at times. I found out about Trustworthy Auto through a business promotion at a gym I go to, and I thought "Why the heck not, let's try it." I scheduled my 2019 Lexus for service which was super easy (online appointment). I received a call from Jacob the day prior confirming the appointment and he spent a good amount of time talking to me about the Lexus, prior services I had done, and what they would do. I dropped the vehicle off and Jacob was friendly and ready to answer my questions. A little while later I received a link to a DETAILED (and I mean DETAILED) summary of the car, what they found (or didn't), and recommended repairs. I was not expecting that level of detail, complete with multiple photos. Brandon then called me and spent time explaining the report and what they would recommend. He was super friendly/knowledgeable, and I could tell they cared about being transparent and factual. I received the car back later that day and immediately felt a difference in drive quality! One of my friends kept swearing by this place and said they were solely responsible for keeping his 2000 sedan working. Finally when my car started making a weird noise and needed an oil change I decided to go there too. It's tucked away in an industrial area so I wasn't sure what to expect. I found out they are SO nice! It's a husband-wife business. He fixes the cars, she does the rest. Earlier I had a mechanic take a look at my car because I thought the noise was related to the brakes. He disagreed so I let it go. When Pete (Trustworthy Auto) took a look at my car he told me that I needed new front brake pads (So I wasn't crazy!). The best part is when I came to pay my bill it was about 20% lower than I expected! Next time my car makes a weird noise I will definitely take it to Pete. read more

I should preface this by saying that not only am I a mechanic, but ive owned 2 different shops since 2014. I had a rush job on my personal vehicle of a pair of universal joints on a driveshaft. They were getting noisy and i needed the vehicle to drive over 600 miles for a weekend trip. A friend recommended Trustworthy since i was jammed up with motorcycle repairs. Trustworthy said they could get the job done in time. I dropped the vehicle off and when i called to check on it i was told i needed 4k in front end work. After saying i was aware of that but are my universal joints done they said they hadnt ordered them yet and the only place that could produce the parts on such short notice would be double the price of a standard parts store. I told them to just get it done and i would pay any price. They got done right at the end of the day and even tho i got to their shop 20 minutes after they informed me the job was done, i showed up to my vehicle blocked in and the shop vacant of people. I had paid by card so as the payment was processed, i gently moved the cars and drove away. I left on my trip the next morning. I made it just over 500 miles before the driveshaft letgo and did thousands worth of damage. I paid twice as much as the job was worth for terrible work a child could have done better. Should be called scam worthy auto. Told me my vehicle need to replace the transfer case and would cost me $1500 to do the job. My SUV only has 55,000 miles Instead of doing the work I paid the $60 diagnostic fee and took it to a dealer for a second opinion. Come to find out was only a $280 wheelbearing! Totally clueless. I recently had work done there two months ago and they cheated me out of $600 for that job which I now wonder if they were even being truthful for that job. Don't go here! read more
