Great option for people living in northern Virginia looking for an affordable way to get to NYC. Much easier for me to get Rosslyn than Union Station. Bus was waiting exactly where the email described and we departed right on time. I paid $30 for a one way ticket departing at 2:10pm from Arlington, VA on a Saturday in October. The bus was pretty empty, everyone had their own two seats to themselves. We stopped in Bethesda at 2:50pm and the bus filled all the way. Didn't hit traffic until the Lincoln tunnel right outside the city and arrived at Penn Station in NYC around 7pm. The bus was clean, comfortable seats, an outlet for each person, free WiFi and a bathroom located on the back of the bus. We did not make any stops along the way except for the driver pulling to the side of the road for a minute to get something from his bag. No food is sold or provided on the bus so bring your own snacks, or else you'll starve! I would take Vamoose again in a heartbeat. read more

I usually travel to NYC by Amtrak but the prices were high and many trains were sold out. I decided to try Vamoose. It took 6 hours to get to NYC due to the stop in Bethesda. It was the same on the journey back. I took the Gold Bus both directions. Some positives: clean bus and restroom Friendly staff Luggage hold in NYC Pick-up locations are easy to locate Free wi-fi that worked well The Gold bus was roomy Free water on the gold bus Plug-in for electronics for all seats Decent price Negatives: The toilet didn't work on my outgoing journey. The driver stopped about 2.5 hours at a rest stop. It turned out the plumbing was frozen. It worked on the final part of the journey. My bus was cancelled departing NYC due to maintenance. We were given a choice for an earlier or later bus. 6 hours is a long time to sit. The temperature was super warm through some of the trip. Overall, I prefer the Amtrak due to the shorter and more predictable journey. Vamoose was a decent alternative with reasonable prices. I also like the pick-up and drop-off locations. read more

I've been a loyal Vamoose customer since 2005 back when they serviced the DC to NY bus route departing the Tenlytown metro station (which btw was very convenient and a cheap option as a homesick AU student). Since then, I have seen the company evolve to what I think is one of the best and most efficiently run bus companies servicing DC to NY. First off, you cannot beat the rates to travel to and from the DC area. A roundtrip ticket still costs less than the tolls and gas you would incur if you drove a car. Even if you choose the Gold Bus tickets (think first class in bus service), you are still saving money on tolls and gas from DC to NYC. Yes, there are other bus companies that may offer cheaper fares, but you get what you pay for. If ever I've strayed, I've always regretted it. If you try say try Mega Bus/Bolt Bus (there's that annoying stop to pick up in Baltimore easily adding an additional hour to your travel), Apex/Chinatown (sketch! and once had been stranded on a broken down bus on the NJ Turnpike for 8 hours- yea that was the most fun i NEVER want to have again) and I was never a Greyhound girl because Union Station is not the safest area for a young woman at night and I've heard WAY too many horror stories (guy's head cut off while sleeping, anyone?! NO thanks!). So hence my point, you get what you pay for and because of the price point, I feel Vamoose attracts a better class of clientele (I'm less likely afraid of getting my head chopped off) and hey you get a free ride after every 4 rides, thats 2 roundtrips people! So if you are a NY native or just like visiting NYC often, it's totally worth it. Oh and if you are ever on a Vamoose bus and the air conditioner sucks or another customer is acting like a jackass, they will credit you another trip. Although I wouldn't recommend you be unruly- seriously we hate you and don't want you! Once I was so happy to be home in NYC that I ran to my momma and forgot my suitcase. After making it to my momma's house and realizing how STUPID I was (DOH! seriously how stupid can I be?), I called Vamoose in a panic. Never fear and even though it was late (11-12 midnight) they had rescued my bags and invited me to come to retrieve at my earliest convenience. I felt like a complete idiot but they were so nice and professional about it. I've watched Vamoose evolve from a bus stopping at two points, put your own luggage on the bus, save those hot pink/orange tickets, owners hop on bus to collect money to NOW. Now, they've added more pick up points all easily accessible via metro: Bethesda, Rosslyn, Lorton dropping off on 31st and 7th ave pretty much in the middle of Manhattan and cab stands/subway/Penn Station- your choices from there are endless, they've hired a crew to help load and unload luggage and have been trained to be very professional and courteous, and have embraced technology offering free wi-fi on most buses and made booking a trip easy by allowing you to reserve/cancel/hold trips on line which is updated when they check you in on their iPads- fancy schmancy! I can appreciate Vamoose because I have seen their evolution from the beginning, and the Vamoose experience is what keeps me a loyal customer, eager to see what they have in store for the future and hope they keep providing a bus service that is clean, courteous, and drama-free. 1 star = No star = Dangerous!!!!! I probably lost 10 years off my life after taking the Vamoose bus from NYC to Arlington, VA. The driver was erratic, driving way too fast and swerving for the last 3-4 hours of the trip. We had to be on 2 wheels going around one turn, tailgating cars, swerving through lanes and driving way above the speed limit. Oh and it was raining on and off so the roads were wet. All it would have taken was for him to over correct and we would have been another statistic about coach buses and fatal accidents. At one point one passenger went up to the driver to ask if he was okay because he was all over the road. Response: "Don't worry about it, sit down." You hear of how many accidents involving these types of buses. 60+ passengers trusted this man with their lives and would not listen to a passenger's concern, let alone slow the f down afterwards! I was close to calling 911 at one point. As more and more passengers realized the situation you could hear the clicks of seat belts throughout the coach. I value my life too much and will not be taking this bus ever, ever, ever again. read more

Having heard wonderful reviews of Vamoose Bus and making frequent trips to NYC I decided to book round trip tickets for a weekend. I live in Arlington (Courthouse) so having the bus pick-up in Rosslyn is so much more convenient than going all the way to Union Station! I also find that the traffic is less of a nuisance when departing from Arlington. The bus was on time and the staff were very friendly. Everything was going smoothly until, just outside Baltimore, our bus magically stopped. The driver was able to pull onto the break down lane and announced a mechanical issue. Now, I've been in these instances before and am extremely understanding and recognize that this is no ones fault. The driver and company cannot foresee these issues but must deal with these situations accordingly. The driver did state that a second bus had been dispatched and was obviously frustrated trying to fix the problem. He did make one announcement over the intercom however he could have followed up every 30 min keeping us in the loop. I've found that in these instances communication is key. Even if there is not an update it is still good to tell people that there are no updates. Most of the passengers were getting impatient and it didn't help that over 2 hrs had passed with no heat on a cold day. In the end, a replacement bus did arrive (2.5 hrs later) which we boarded and took us the rest of the way to NYC. Even though I didn't call to complain, Vamoose sent an email saying sorry and offering 2 free tickets which was the right thing to do. It's obvious this isn't a normal occurrence and Vamoose handled the incident well. I plan on making more trips with this bus to NYC and hope this doesn't happen again! Side note: I was early for my return leg to Arlington and decided to upgrade to the Gold Bus as it was leaving an hr before my scheduled bus. It was a good call! Free water, my own power outlet, spacious seats, lots of leg room, and a tray table to put my iPad on! Oh and no breakdowns is always good. This was the first time I took a bus to NYC and I was not disappointed with Vamoose. I bought the cheaper ticket for the Vamoose regular bus (not the Vamoose Gold bus) and I had a problem free, comfortable ride from Arlington, VA to NYC. The bus left on time and arrived on time. I took a Thurs morning bus and Paul was the bus driver. He was excellent-he had a positive attitude, was really nice, and helpful. The bus takes the longer route, it take 6 hours to travel from D.C. To NYC and it is always freezing, they put the AC too high.

Our first trip on Vamoose was very good. Up we had a standard bus. Back we had the Gold. 1) On line reservation system worked very well. Showed times, features and seats remaining. We went on short notices. Round trip was $115/person. Way cheaper than AMTRAK. 2) Bonus points for having a pick up in Rosslyn with no stops before NYC! 3) Pick up in Rosslyn in front of Cosi provides shelter and access to food and beverage before the ride 4) Pick up in NYC in front of Bagel Maven does the same 5) Driver and crew were courteous and helpful. 6) Check-in and Boarding were orderly and quick. 7) Buses departed on time. 8) Seats were comfortable. Gold bus had leather or like seats,fold down tray, movie service and complimentary water. Couldn't get the movie service to work, but I was planning on reading and listening to podcasts anyway. 9) Bathroom was clean. Light bulb was not working on the Gold bus. 10) Wifi was slow for me, but I really didn't use it much. I recommend and will use again myself. read more

4.5 I hate public transportation but I'm writing this review as if I were someone that would take the DC to NYC bus regularly or gasp, actually enjoy riding the bus in general. Ew. First off the staff at Vamoose was incredible. Super friendly, smiley and looked genuinely happy and willing to help you out with anything you needed. Whether it was if you wanted to run to grab a coffee before departure or grab your charger from your luggage already packed under the bus (whoopsies). On the way back home to DC I ended up packing my headphones instead... they still let me grab them even though we were almost ready to depart. Thank goodness. Both trips were exactly on time and I felt as though the drivers both ways were safe but at the same time hauling ass. Yes you can do both. Not many people are blessed with this ability. The buses were also pretty clean for what its worth. I mean the multicolored seats could have hidden a bunch of stains what mattered was if there were stains they didn't smell or feel sticky. Yuck. Now onto the fun part! A list of people I want to beat in the throat repeatedly! Yah! 1. 30 something O-M-G girl talking on the phone the entire check in line, the entire ride and the entire unload time about all her friends. Like, you totally suck beeeyotch. 2. The person that thought it was a good time to moisturize with Bath and Body Works super concentrated lotion that you could smell from outter space. 3. The large woman behind me to NYC that kept adjusting my seat with her thighs all while eating an entire bag of salt and vinegar chips. +1 for her multitasking skills, +1 for me knowing what flavor chips she was eating without having to look. 4. And of course not being able to watch the Skins game live. That's my iPhone's fault. So I wanted to throw it at any of the above listed person's heads, but that wouldn't have done me any good. I'd recommend Vamoose over any of the other buses just because it was so much easier for me (coming from NoVa) to just take the metro to Rosslyn rather than book it all the way into the city. It's a little more expensive but I'm guessing it's probably worth it. If I ever have to take a bus to NYC again I'd go with Vamoose. read more

I'm updating my 2-star review to 5-stars. A day or two after writing my first review, Vamoose sent me an email with a credit for the trip. That to me is the sign of a stand-up company. I appreciated the fact that in their email they didn't try to make excuses for what happened - they simply credited me for what they billed as an "unpleasant experience". I wish more companies were principled enough to do the right thing when they mess up. Respect Vamoose, you just won a loyal customer. Vamoose I'm so sorry I took another bus to NY. From this day forward, I swear I will be loyal and take only you! This is by far the BEST choice of bus service from DC to NY. It is the cheapest, on time, comfortable, clean and fair. It's first come first serve, so try to get there early if you want to sit together. They usually arrive 10 minutes before the departure time to get everyone on and ready to go. The pick up and drop off locations are great, very accessible to metro. They will try to accommodate you as best they can without charging exorbitant fees. I just wish they had a 9 PM departure time from NY. read more

I purchased a 8am bus ticket from NYC to Arlington the Sunday after a holiday. I made it back to VA but was dismayed by the lack of customer service by the driver. One hour into the trip the driver made an unscheduled stop along the NJ turnpike. I later realized this was to switch drivers. The replacement driver took his time, offered no information other than "there is a lot of things they don't tell you." The replacement driver cut off other cars repeatedly and when I asked his name to share my concerns told me next time to drive or take the bus. As a female passenger on this bus line I did not feel comfortable and will never buy another ticket from this company. read more

Just had to post a review for Vamoose & share my story of my lost sunglasses! I rode up to NYC from Bethesda, MD over President's Day weekend and realized upon my arrival that I'd left my sunglasses in their case on the bus. It seemed like a HUGE long shot, but I went online and sent a note via their "lost and found" page on the website. The response was great: I got a note back saying they'd take a look and get back to me and within 24 hours they said they'd found them! Then, they called to get my credit card into to ship them from NY and I just got them, just over a week later. That kind of customer service just doesn't happen that much these days so I had to give them some stars to say thanks! read more

Vamoose is always reliable. The pick-up location in Arlington is very convenient - about a block from the Rosslyn metro stop. It leaves on-time, and is almost always packed. Every time I've ridden with Vamoose, there have been outlets at every seat and good, free WiFi. It's a bus, so it's pretty cramped and you don't have much leg room; but that's why it's $40. It doesn't make any rest stops along the way, so make sure that you have water and/or snacks for the road. The pick-up location in Arlington is right outside of Cosi, which makes it easy to grab a sandwich before boarding. One time, I missed my DC-bound Vamoose bus by about 5 minutes and was in a panic, and the Vamoose attendant (the guy who stands on the street and checks you in) was so nice - he put my ticket on hold and sent me an email with the ticket information/instructions, allowing me to redeem its value for a future Vamoose trip. He told me that I could use my ticket for the next Vamoose bus, but that bus wasn't scheduled to leave for another 2 hours, and I was in a hurry. So, I had to sprint to find another bus that was heading to DC soon. As I was sprinting, the Vamoose attendant made sure to call me on my cellphone to confirm that he had put my ticket on hold, which was so sweet - he was so helpful. He could see how stressed I was about missing the bus and potentially having to forfeit the value of my ticket. I love Vamoose - highly recommend. read more

Number one transportation option between Arlington and NYC. We've been travelling on Vamoose for several years and are always pleased with the courteous, professional staff and clean buses. Bus broke down due to engine trouble on the NJTurnpike. They didn't give us much information and had to get to a professional engagement in NY so took an uber. Asked vamoose to pay the $65 uber fee for my husband and me but they refused. They also had credited me with 2 free rides (along with everyone else) but once I complained, they retracted those! Why be so stingy when you should be creating goodwill with your customers? Ironically, the same thing happened to us the trip prior to this one. Not a very reliable company. read more

After a few times riding on the Vamoose we have decided that it is not the way we prefer to travel from D.C. to NYC. Out of the last six times, round trip there was no WiFi. Zero Wifi. Like totally NO WiFi. Two out of the six times of travel there was no active outlets for charging our phones!! The shocks on at least two of our trips were completely out. At $60 one way for the "Gold" bus, couldn't one reasonably expect a working bathroom, not merely the promise of a rest-stop somewhere down the road? After announcing that there was "a problem with this bus" the driver proceeded to deny several people the opportunity to use the bathroom at the nearby Cosi even though he was leaving ten minutes before the scheduled departure. I've been a frequent passenger on Vamoose for the past several years. I am also very familiar with Megabus, Best Bus, and Bolt. I like Vamoose because: a) it's pick-up location in Rosslyn is very convenient and it's drop-off in NY near Penn Station is also convenient (unlike with Mega or Bolt), b) it's easy to re-schedule a trip with no additional cost (unlike with Bolt which charges you a fee every time) c) you earn a free ride after 4 trips (Bolt offers free ride after 8 rides, I think d) there are no additional service charges (unlike with Mega and Bolt) In general, the bus drivers and ground crew are pleasant and friendly. The Bolt and Mega drivers are both quite funny though Bolt drivers tend to be funnier. For the most part, the drivers seem to drive safely though there have been a few occasions when they drove a bit too aggressively. That said, I appreciate when they take an alternate route to avoid sitting in traffic too long. I used to be much happier with the customer service and the quality of the service but I have noticed a decline over the last year or two. I am mostly dissatisfied with the horrible WiFi. I have found the WiFi on Bolt to be much better. In addition, when I submitted feedback about this, the company didn't even acknowledge it. Previously, they were far more attentive to customer feedback. The other cons about Vamoose are: 1) Buses seem to be older 2) Seats don't have tables if you want to do work on the bus (Bolt and Mega have them) 3) There seems to be less leg room on these buses compared to Bolt 4) Price is often comparable to Bolt or Mega although level of service offerings (i.e,. Wifi) is not 5) In general, it often seems like the Bolt buses arrive at their destination faster than the Vamoose buses do. read more

Took the 6pm Vamoose Bus from Arlington, VA to NYC on Friday, July 8th. Had the misfortune of sitting right behind the bus driver and witnessing him mount his cell phone to the left of the steering wheel and check social media while driving on the NJ Turnpike... looking down at phone and back on road, down at phone and back on road, and swerving a bit left and right each time! He then raised his phone and took a selfie or looked at a pic a few times as well. At the rest area, he picked up a box of Popeye's and proceeded to chow on that too! All while driving on the highway with a full busload of passengers. Notified Vamoose and they are investigating. The return trip was thankfully uneventful... so hopefully this incident was an exception and not the norm! read more

I rode with Vamoose for the first time this past weekend as a cheaper alternative to the train to get to New York City. I chose Vamoose over other companies because they have a pick up/drop off location in Rosslyn (and it also skipped other stops) which is much more convenient for me. The bus was clean and it did not take long to get to and from New York, even with hitting some traffic leaving DC. What I was disappointed in was the fact that when we left Rosslyn to go to NYC, the driver did not announce an estimated time, the wifi, the fact that you could charge up your devices, etc. It would have been nice to be informed of these things, especially for people like me who have never ridden. They did explain all of this on the way home, however. The WiFi is pretty terrible, too, so that was a let down. It would not let me connect to Spotify or YouTube/videos. I was going to give three stars, but the Rosslyn location makes taking the bus very easy, and the price was great. read more

We love NYC but live in DC. So we go up as often as we can. Up to now we have almost always driven up. All these 20+ years, 98% of the time, half dozen times a year or more. Yes we have taken the train a number of times, flown a number of times, but never taken the bus. Until now. Initially we were thrilled. Why hadn't we tried it before? In the end, there are plusses, and then there are the minuses. The plusses: 1. Door to door in under 5 hours. That's from our house door to our hotel door. Including wait times for the bus. 3 hours and 50 minutes from Rosslyn to Penn Station. Can't be beat. 2. No stress from driving. No stress from wife's back-seat driving. Sleep, read, listen to music, converse, email, watch movie, en route. 3. Cost less than any other mode. $120 round trip for two. Compare to gas + tolls + parking = $250+; no comparison. The minuses: 1. Limited service; Just a half dozen departures/day, and lack of flexibility: you have to plan your activities around bus schedule. 2. Waiting outdoors for bus subject to elements. 3. Buses are tolerably clean and comfortable, but not compared to buses in places like Japan and Switzerland. The buses we were on were in needed of refurbishing and maintenance: replace shock absorbers, repair bathroom door, general cleanliness. 4. The driver on our return trip was a bit on the aggressive-driver side, like he was trying to beat a speed record for Manhattan to Rosslyn ground transport. 5. Subject to people around you being sick, noisy, eating, coughing and sneezing, annoying. On balance, a net positive experience. read more

On time and cheap. Amenities (electrical outlets and wifi) were non-existent on the trek from Rosslyn-NYC but miraculously working on a different bus on my return trip. One thing I didn't like that you should be aware of is that the Vamoose employees start unloading everyone's luggage in NYC (on a busy street nevertheless) before everyone is even off the bus. Maybe I'm just less trusting than everyone else, but I felt uncomfortable with my luggage sitting out on a busy street free for the taking while I stood in line on the bus hoping no one dashed off with my bag. Just something to watch out for when you arrive. Otherwise, it's not Amtrak, but it will get you from A to B and back. read more

I took Vamoose from New York to Rosslyn on a Sunday at 2 PM for $40 for the regular bus - the $60 Gold bus was sold out and my $40 bus was full as well. In general, I was pleased. I arrived at the 30th and 7th Ave departure point 20 minutes before departure and there were about 27 people in front of me in line (for 56 seats). The bus left 15 minutes late. The bagel shop next to the waiting area lets people use their two unisex restrooms and there is a rest room on the bus I didn't use (the bus stopped for 10 minutes at a food service area in Delaware two hours into the trip. The estimated 4 hr and 15 minutes trip would have been correct but was extended by 25 minutes due to heavy traffic between Baltimore and Washington. The driver was professional. I was very pleased with the trip. It was well organized and close to on time. I didn't use the wireless internet but saw others using it. There was adequate leg room. At departure, the owner asked people to be quiet, considerate of others and not make long phone calls but a group of Indian women was extremely noisy talking and laughing loudly - luckily I was not sitting near them. Other customers were considerate and relatively quiet - no long phone calls etc. Would have been nice to have cup holder or some place to put a little trash, coffee cup etc. All in all very good value - much cheaper than the train and reliable service. read more

The worst customer service you can possibly imagine. I call the number because the DC metro was late and I was trying to reach the dispatcher to tell I'd be running late by five minutes. Rude lady on the phone tells me to just try to make it and that she has no way of reaching the bus driver or dispatcher. What's the goddamn point of having a customer service line, then? So I miss the bus by exactly 3 minutes. Count it, 3 minutes. I was angry at this point, but I wanted to reschedule so I got my moneys worth. But no. Apparently, I can only take the bus the next morning. Apparently vamoose can't prove that I was at the bus stop 3 minutes late because all their vamoose ppl had left already(last bus of the day). Can you believe that crap? I was there 3 minutes late and called customer sitting in front of the bus stop but since everyone was gone at the stop, I lost all ability to reschedule to a time I want. So there goes my pricey ticket. At this point I got pretty nasty with the "customer service" on the phone. Anyway, if you value customer service at all, don't spend money at this shit service. read more

We had a wonderful experience riding the Vamoose bus from Arlington to NYC. I will definitely use this service in the future. I would have given it a five, but there were a few hiccups. On the way up, the DCTrails bus we were on had power outlets that didn't work until half way through the trip and the wifi was very slow. On the way home, the GoBus we were on had a broken bathroom door so you couldn't lock it and it got dim after a minute in there. All in all a fabulous mode of transportation. read more

I'm a fairly frequent rider but not happy about today's trip. We left almost fifteen minutes late bc we were waiting for a passenger who was "three minutes away" but never showed up. We left only when another passenger complained and threatened to call HQ. Then we stopped in New Jersey to pick up a driver who smokes and who smells like he's been drinking (now that more air has circulated, I can smell him pretty strongly) and who claimed not to know the route or how to get the ac back on. He finally did and now it's blowing his smoky smell all over the bus. Doesn't make for a nice trip at all. Certainly not the service and quality I expect for a gold bus ride. read more

I ride Vamoose between Roslyn and NY about a dozen times a year. I have no complaints about the service. It's always left at the scheduled time and the drivers have been courteous and professional. I try to avoid peak traffic times on 95 such as Friday nights, but otherwise it's a pretty consistent trip. I haven't taken it in a couple of months so today I had my first experience with the (new? ) person checking names, etc. in Roslyn (I think her name is Alicia). On our return from NY to Bethesda Maryland. Bus arrived from Bethesda on time and departed at 5:30 Sharp. We ran into NY rush hour traffic adding 1 hour to our trip. That made the trip even more miserable. As traffic moved driver stops abruptly without any announcement to use the rest room. Then all seat lights were turned on thru out the trip, 3.5 hours. No passenger was able to turn them off. Worst of all - bus was hot towards the end of the trip my daughter in shorts was fanning herself. It felt like the bus driver was alone driving the bus and everything ran as he preferred. Top that with broken chair that did not recline and WiFi that didn't work ditto Electrical out let between our seat. One more thing we contacted customer service to inquire about arrival time and possible delay. Customer service was not helpful on supplying basic information regarding bus arrival and departure time. We were told they have no idea. My husband thought they were joking. Finally he was told a manager would know. When asked to speak to manager he was told no one is available. This will be my families last bus trip ever. read more

I was pleasantly surprised. I usually drive or take Amtrak when traveling to NYC. I have heard horror stories about the bus ride to NYC. Both bus operators were pleasant and professional. The bus was clean. My only complaint is the seats were not comfortable and had very little leg room on my trip to NYC. I will most definitely use Vamoose for future travel to NYC. read more

So I've read a bunch of negative reviews here, and decided to give my 2 cents. I started using Vamoose about every other month or so to go up to NYC. I've used Megabus, Boltbus, and Greyhound, and I think Vamoose beats all of them in terms of price and service. None of the buses have great wifi, but you're also on a bus so I just never really bank on it to work. Vamoose is nice because you can change your schedule *super* easy. All you have to do is call (I think an hour in advance?) and ask them to change your ticket and they'll take care of it. They also have a rewards program for points, which you earn every time you purchase a ticket. The drivers are nice and friendly, on time (I haven't had a late bus), and we don't always get to NYC in 4-4.5 hours from Bethesda, but I also always leave on Friday evening so we hit rush hour traffic in the DMV area. I also did have one time when the driver was driving rather slowly late on a Sunday night, AND we stopped for a 30 minute break, and we got in much later than expected. If you want to get up to NYC for cheap and it doesn't really matter when or where you get there, you don't mind pulling off on the side of the road for random reasons (switching drivers--that happened to me once), and you don't mind being on a packed bus, then go ahead and get a Megabus ticket. If you can go from DC/Greenbelt to NYC, and want something pretty fast and somewhat reliable (I've been on a bus that was at least an hour late, and we made a stop), and don't mind stopping in Baltimore when coming from DC, then take Boltbus. If you're looking to travel from NoVa/Montgomery County to NYC, want something dependable with good customer service (not sure what these other people are talking about but I've called Vamoose plenty of times and had no problem), are willing to pay $30-$40, or if you travel to NYC regularly and are looking for a good, quality bus service and a pretty comfortable ride, then I would recommend Vamoose. read more
