My goto place for banh Cuon, delicious and consistent, Small place and ordering is easy.

Found this place by accident and hunger! Food came out quick! I just pointed and ordered and smiled. They need some help with the front of house. But if you could look past that then come for the tasty food! See my pics!

The only Banh cuon place I know of in the DFW area! Tastes great and is at a great price! Warning for non Viet people, the two times I've went neither lady speaks any English. Service is also not the best, but still 5 stars for the food.

Located in Cali Saigon Mall and is a small operation. They specialize in banh cuon (rice rolls). The lady that runs the front doesn't speak English, so you'll have to be patient and communicate well what you want to order (or hopefully someone can help translate like they did for us). It is very hectic because you order at the front but she is running around everywhere and not necessarily paying attention or working on something else. We had to wait 10 minutes at the counter before she acknowledged us. There was a large group behind us that kept on trying to order but weren't able to and just left. However, once we got the order in it was smooth sailing. The banh cuon itself is very fresh and thin. Great flavors and the fried potato/shrimp fritter is also tasty. We also got the hu tieu nam vang, which is like a pork and shrimp rice noodle soup. It had great flavor and came out hot. You pay at the end and they do accept credit card. The lady is very nice once things slow down but hope they can smooth out the operation a little more in the future because the food is delicious.

This place is a hit when the cravings call! I go for dried shrimp Banh cuon every time. Don't like the pork and mushroom version. Comes with sausages fried taro and sweet potato shrimp cake and veggies. So goood! I can eat this everyday! Not much on menu but they do Banh cuon well

Not the best service, but I really enjoyed the food! Nice and tasty. Good portion and presentation. Just make sure you get everything you ordered before you eat. The staff forgot an egg roll dish but brought it over after I notified them. Then while I was eating, another customer was prepared the wrong dish and exchanged it. I think the space formerly belonged to an Italian or pizza place because of the decor but oh well haha. I am Vietnamese, but the staff didn't realize and I did hear them remarking about my appearance but eh. Food's worth it.

The dish I had was good, but took off a star because they had no egg rolls before noon and the dishes are limited. If you offer a limited menu, then you should at least have ALL of the menu items stocked. Also, no water or table service. Despite this, would recommend if you want to try their dishes. I would consider going back if near the area.

Everything had a very authentic, homemade feel, and it was nice to find a place that offers so many Huế-style and Central Vietnamese specialties. The small dishes were especially fun to share, and the sugar cane juice was a refreshing addition to the meal. Overall, Goc Hue is a great spot if you enjoy Vietnamese food and want something beyond the usual pho or banh mi options. We would definitely come back to try more of the menu.

Out of those six orders, 5 were absolutely delicious and I will be reordering those five each time. The sixth was still really great, but not my thing. The service is very good here and they are super friendly. The only bad thing is how small the place is so if youre there during full house you will have to wait. Although it's small, I wouldn't want it to change if it affects quality. So this place is dang near perfect to me. Prices are great as well. I would highly recommend making a trip out to this place. I'll definitely be back.

The bread is made fresh in house. You can see all the racks when you walk in. This place is more of a bakery than anything. I think they sell 5 loaves for a few bucks. It's absolutely the best. So crisp in the outside and tender like poboy bread on the inside. The sandwich toppings were nice. I got the basic ham and it was full of flavor. The pickled veg were so well seasoned and nice. It was a very nice compliment to the rich pork and some sort of spread they had on it. I could not get enough of this thing. I truly thought i hated bahn mi. My motto is that every dish has the potential to be delicious. If I haven't liked it yet, I may have my found the best version. I'm so happy to conclude my search locally. We will be back back. Please note the sandwiches are made to order. You may have to wait a few minutes, but rest assured, it's going to be amazing!
