This is my new favorite Vietnamese restaurant in DFW!! The seafood and meat is very good quality with intentional and delicious meals! I love how the menu has lots of pictures of dishes and makes it very easy to find what you want. There is so much variety and the staff is incredibly friendly. Love the broken rice dishes (not the hugest portion), yummy ube mocha coffee, summer rolls are balanced, and the pho broth is deep and beautiful. The second time I came here was on a Sunday and we discovered they have a free complimentary dessert table for everyone inside! Unfortunately, it closes at 1 so we only got to try the one kind left but it was delicious and tasted almost like crème brûlée. Gorgeous resteraunt with an authentic feel and decorated to perfection. We went here for their pho and bun bo hue. I definitely recommends this place for both. The food especially vegetables were fresh tasting. The broth flavors were good. It was quite busy when we came so the wait was about fifteen minutes or so for a table to open up. The food came within another fifteen minutes after ordering. I went back today with coworkers and it just as lovely as I remembered.. is this a new tradition? We had four party members and everyone's food arrived asynchronously. From the first dish arriving to the last was probably ~20 minutes, which is relatively significant. I didn't mind since our dinner was casual but others might care more. #29, bò lúc lắc (shaken beef), is my favorite. I love the tender beef with the oyster sauce / garlic flavor, the tomato rice, the many veggies, both fresh and pickled, that cut through the saturated fat in the beef and leave me feeling refreshed. My friends tried other dishes - #14 (Cơm Tấm Đặc Biệt / combination broken rice), #22 (Cơm sườn đai hàn / Korean galbi rice dish) and #24 (Cơm chiên Dương Châu / Yangzhou fried rice). The first two cleaned their plates and the last friend ate exactly half before stopping so he could pace himself. They all loved it! Notes: 1. They don't take reservations so have someone arrive early if it matters but it's a pretty big restaurant and we didn't have to wait. 2. The desserts don't get re-put out, so we finished our meal after 8pm and didn't get to eat. If we had known we would have gotten desserts early! 3. Pay at the counter. My new go to spot for pho! Bep Nha has a nice looking interior, fast service, and most importantly, great food. Their pho broth was incredibly rich but didn't leave you really thirsty like most places. I got their number 9 pho with steak, lean brisket, and tendon which hit the spot on a cold day. My wife ordered their Bun Bo Hue, which she had for the first time and loved. I got confused and thought it came with both rice and the cracker but it was the cracker only. It came with this sauce similar to fish sauce. Unfortunately, the crackers were undercooked as they were still on the hard side and not crunchy at all. The crackers are a big part of this dish so the overall taste was off. I stole some bites from my brother's rice plate and my grandma's noodle soup. Since it was the weekend they have free desserts available so I made sure to take advantage of that. They have a nice seating area outside to wait and its totally worth it imo. We ordered a good amount of things, we got the grilled pork ham spring rolls, bun bo hue, hu tieu, bo kho, combo fried rice and com tam 95 combo. Everything was honestly so good - the spring rolls were super flavorful with pieces of chopped mint and the grilled pork was so yum. I also loved the broth for the bo kho and the beef pieces were tender and flavorful! Also i would literally make the 50 minute drive just to order their coffee bc every single one was oooOo so yummy. Bep Nha is an aesthetic yet authentic Vietnamese restaurant tucked in the corner of a plaza in Garland. First time here and could tell it was going to be good by the large amount of people waiting outside! They offer free dessert (che) while also offering a wide variety of interesting and unique drinks, such as Vietnamese coffee, milk teas, and fruit teas. I got the Okinawa milk tea and it was on the sweeter side (will most likely ask for it less sweet) but still so good. The food is spectacular and flavorful. I got the com ga xoi mo (deep fried Cornish hen) with regular white rice and it was so delicious and crispy. My family got com bo luc lac and said it was delicious, but I believe they said the mi quang was the best here (will be trying that next time). All in all, the service was amazing and attentive (for a Vietnamese restaurant that is wild, and I'm Vietnamese myself lol), prices were lower than I expected but makes it into an affordable, yummy meal. The weather dropped drastically from low 80's down to high 50's. With such a change in temperature, it called for a nice warm bowl of noodle soup. My best friend suggested this place and told me that their mi quang soup is the best in town, so I had to order that. Let me tell you, the soup was full of flavor with a very mild kick, but it was oh so good! We also ordered a fried rice plate for the kids and it paired nicely with their house made sauce that you can drizzle on top of it. I recently discovered Bep Nha and it's now entered my regular rotation. The Bun Bo Hue has a deeply flavored broth with lots of umami and a nice amount of heat provided by chili oil. The noodles were nicely cooked and the meat was plentiful. This is probably only 1 of 3 places where I would order BBH so I'd recommend it. Many of my friends tried the Mi Quang and loved it so it's on my list to try next time if I can resist ordering the BBH again. They have egg coffee which you don't see too many places so try that if you haven't. I thought about getting the Vietnamese iced coffee but $5 is a bit steep for such a simple drink. The restaurant was clean and had lots of natural light. It's nicer than most of the other Asian restaurants in the area. The water is self-serve but the tiny paper cups are a bit silly. Service was quick and they asked us if everything was good when we paid at the register. read more

Stopped by with a big group of 11 after church a few Sundays back and had a very nice time at Bep Nha! We went on the recommendation of a couple of friends and the food was excellent. It gets pretty busy on the weekends because of the free dessert promotion that they're running, so we ended up having to wait around half an hour to get seated. I feel like the staff have a bit of a hard time trying to figure out how to seat people that are in large groups like ours, because I kept seeing smaller parties that arrived around the time we did get tables without thought to how certain configurations could get combined to seat a larger party -- and we definitely saw a group come in after us and join the large table that a previous party they knew was sitting at just so they could "cut the line" which was unfortunate, but we were able to get a table shortly after so it wasn't a huge deal :P Just something to keep in mind for the future. All the food we tried was really good; my husband and I split the bo luc lac (shaken beef) and a bowl of combination pho, as well as egg rolls and spring rolls. The pho meat quality was excellent and the broth was super flavorful. The egg rolls were pretty small and just alright, but the spring rolls were excellent. Shaken beef was also tender and flavorful. The portion sizes for the entrees, especially the luc lac, was smaller than we're used to, but just have to adjust expectations for next time. My husband also got the durian coffee; he said it was well-flavored but just too creamy for his personal taste. Dessert bar was great and is refilled regularly. Our favorites of the ones we tried were the taro sago and the durian pudding, but the icy jelly coconut milk drink was also really good. Would definitely order dessert here even if it wasn't free! Bep Nha's definitely going on our list of go-to Viet places in the area; we'll probably just come on a less busy day in the future, and with a much smaller group. read more

If you're looking for a quieter setting than Bistro B (in same strip mall), and really tasty Vietnamese food, give this place a try. They provide some free cold Viet desserts to pick from during your dining experience.
