I can't rave enough about Jim and Van Go. I've known Jim for over 5 years, and have used him for my own home for 5 separate rooms. Not only did he have a wonderful selection of window coverings, but he also made some wonderful recommendations for my needs, and was very conscientious of my budget. He is also very patient, as I did not do all 5 rooms at one time. I basically saw him several times over the course of a few years, so I got to know him very well. Jim is extremely professional, and is so warm and friendly. He's also one of THE most punctual and responsive contractors/vendors whom I have EVER worked with (trust me, I've had my fair share of no shows-2 hrs late-no call-no answer-contractors). He also calls you to update you on the progress of each order and will always go out of his way, above and beyond to make sure that you are satisfied. In fact, one time, I had a shutter that was misaligned, and was not closing properly. It wasn't even a shutter that he had installed (it was an existing fixture that was previously there) and he removed it and took it back to the manufacturer for me to have it repaired, and reinstalled it for me within a week. THAT is stellar service. He cares, and he wants you to be happy! I have referred him to several of my friends/family/clients, and they have also all had nothing but amazing things to say about him. I had an estimate done by a couple of people for vertical blinds and Van Go Blnds was the more reasonable one. I called Saturday and Jim (owner/installer) came in the same day to do the estimate. He was very professional, friendly, punctual and does not pressure you to hire him/buy his product. He showed me a wide variety of choices for vertical blinds (textures/colors). The blinds were beautifully installed 4 days after his estimate and I am pleased that I found him. Super easy to work with and did an awesome job.
