I definitely will keep buying my produce at the market, as the stone fruits all looked over-ripe (and over priced) but for high quality meats and provisions, there is no other shop like this in the area! i will definitely be back!

I have no idea what the issue is but Ive been here 5 times in the past couple years and each time the employees dont acknowledge I exist, dont smile when sent one by a customer, no greeting when youre up to get food, etc. I dont need a "disney" or "howlin rays" welcome or service, but it'd be nice to not feel like a dick when you're in a place of business (and your day is actually good). By all means I didnt give attitude, I just am aware of not feeling welcome. The prices are high, but makes sense.. Just wanted to let epople know youre going to spend $10-30 ore than Sprouts, Whole Foods, etc.

Everything is always top quality and the customer service is by far some of the best I have had at a butcher. Their recommendation are always on point and they even will provide you ice packs on request for your freezer bag if you are going to be doing some shopping or have a decent drive back home. I love that they are well knowledgeable about all the products and take the time if you ask to explain the differences in the meats and how they should be cooked for the best experience. If you are ever by the grove or farmers market ask for Brandon (likes to go by B) or Byron they are always willing to help and make sure you are more than satisfied with your purchase. The great thing about them is that they are father (Byron) and son (Brandon) which means they are passing down the skill set and knowledge regarding butchery and meats. If you are in the area or have the means to travel I definitely recommend supporting this establishment at least for your ultra premium, exotic, or seasonal meats.

Buy a pound or three of raw house-made meatloaf ready to take home and bake! Thinking about grilling some great burgers.
