I love ordering food from here when hosting gatherings! For my graduation party, we ordered 5 lbs of beef kabob, chicken kabob, and pork. It came with a large case of rice and a container of onions mixed with cilantro. It was all around $130! Amazing. You can add on pita bread, tabbouleh, and different types of hummus too if you'd like. That was around $30-40 for 2 sides of tabbouleh, 2 hummus, and 1 roasted eggplant dip. I forgot to order pita bread during my recent order but I'm sure it's affordable. I received prices from other locations that served catering portions and the estimate costs were $200+, so this was amazing for the price. Overall, good quality food and good service as well. I love this Armenian market: it has everything for your one stop shopping! Very clean and orderly, a true pleasure to wander in the various aisles to do your shopping. Their produce is very fresh and they have a huge variety of vegetables and fruit. Their meat counter has all the meat you can imagine, marinated or not, cold sausages, a big variety of cheeses, and the butcher staff ready to help! I also found out they sell their fresh baked breads there! All together I highly recommend this market, and cannot wait for their next door bakery/ pastry shop to open soon! read more

My review is for the owner himself! My aunt went to buy cooked salmon ( usually $15 ) and the worker was charging her 30. My aunt is a loyal customer and makes a purchase here at least once a week. She asked to speak to someone regarding the price. The owner came drunk, barely walking, and asked if she had a problem in the most rudest way possible. The issue isn't the price. It's the principal. The way he handled the situation was inappropriate and unprofessional and disrespectful especially the customer is an elderly and loyal customer. He has no respect for his customers. Who comes drunk to speak to someone at their own business. He needs to learn how to handle and make sure that any cost customer should leave happy and satisfied. The way he handled the situation is guaranteed for the customer not to come back. Word travels fast and a lot of people will know how he treats people. The price of the fish is irrelevant at this point. My aunt was treated poorly. And seems like you know what happened so who ever was claiming to be the owner needs to learn how to talk to customers doesnt matter if I was there or not. My facts are straight so please do not call my aunt a liar. And believe me this incident will get around on how your staff acts and treats people. read more

Not good at all expired meat and vegetables below quality for human consumption. Definitely won't recommend to anyone, anytime soon. This place is great! They always have a wide variety of necessities, sweets, made to order deli and more and best of all.. prices are very reasonable! The owners are hardworking and always pleasant, helpful, and caring to its customers. I accidentally left one of my bags on the counter and one of the cashiers dashed out of the store after me to give it to me. That's not a regular occurrence, and I so appreciate it. Fantastic market to buy great Armenian items. We're 80 miles away and we go to LA once or twice a month and make sure to stop at our favorite store Tigranakert . Exquisite food, fresh fruits and veggies, friendly service, lots of smiles and amazing Lahmajou hehe. The employees and owners are very pleasant. They can give you great advice on what to try and how to prepare it based on your tastes/preferences. The fresh baked breads are amazing, must try! I go to the store at least once every two days, always spend a good amount of money on food. It's been like that for a while. I was very grateful to have this place to buy groceries specially during the quarantine. I notice that the customer service wasn't the most friendly one, but always thought it was a culture difference. I've been having some issues every time I need to buy meat and I'm forced to interact with whoever is working that day. Today I tried to buy $12 of meat and the guy started complaining for having to calculate $12 of meat. I asked if everything was ok and he kept being rude, gesturing and saying something in Armenian. This is a unique and amazing market that I've been shopping for last few years, every single week. It's a little small but cozy market that has almost everything needed. A wide variety fruits and vegetables, different selection of quality meat, poultry, lamb and pork, sausages, kielbasas, ham etc. They have dairy section, freshly baked pastries, bread and everything they make tastes delicious. A man who represented himself as the owner of this market was rude to my wife's aunt who is an ELDERLY WOMEN and telling her to get the hellout of his store because he doesn't need her money. The person who stated to be the owner had the smell of alchohol coming out of his breath. If you want to save yourself trouble go to a different Armenian market around the valley. Anna who represents herself as the true owner of this establishment needs to get her facts straight and realize what is going on in her business if she is a true business woman have her contact me. Driving down Victory Blvd in the middle of the afternoon, this little place with a huge sign caught Mr. B's eye. Since he was driving, the car suddenly jerked in that direction. Who am I to resist? I love small, clean ethnic neighborhood markets. And this one certainly fits the bill. This one caters to the Armenian and Russian community. They carry a lot of imported, prepared foods, but their fresh food selection is what really impressed me. Their meat and deli counter extends from the front to the very back of the store. At the meat and deli counter you can find 5 types of feta, 5 kinds of marinated olives, several types of sausages, leg of lamb, marinated meats ( chicken, rack of lamb chops, lamb ribs), rabbit, canned, fresh, and marinated fish and lox. I am sure I failed miserably to remember it all. Their bread choices are also not typical. For instance, there are several different brands of a large flat bread called lavash, and then there are the freshly baked loaves of bread that look like a flattened football, just like Roland C described. These are just waiting on a baker's rack for you to take home. We had to try some, as every customer in the store was lined up to buy at least one loaf (probably more). We found the bread delicious just toasted and buttered, light, delicate, and full of holes. For your Mediterranean sweet tooth, I also spotted large chunks of halvah in a case waiting to be sliced and weighed and about 12 different freshly baked pastries. We are not the kind of people that can pass by a ethnic bakery without buying, so we ended up with maybe seven different varieties of pastries. So far, they have all been beautiful, tasty, some with cinnamon and other exotic spices and nuts. Adequate parking can be found behind the store. This was a fun find and one I would highly recommend to visit. read more

I wish i can give this place a zero!!!!!!!! So for Christmas we decided to order bbq from This place we had called a week in advance n placed our order for 6pm.they said they will be able to do it. So on Dec 24. My husband is at the store at 545 pm and lets the worker know his there for the order the worker with a nasty attitude tells my husband why he came early. My husband said its ok i came 15 min early i will wait till our pickup which is 6pm............time ticks it becomes 620pm my husband asks when the order will be ready!!! They tell my husband in few minutes, my husband waits then it becomes 645 pm he asks what happened with the order the worker says give us about ten minutes it will be ready (keep in my i have 20 people at home guests waiting). Then it becomes 710pm my husband gets frustrated and asked they said for the people who ordered for 6pm it will be barely ready by 8pm ....whatttt theeeeer hellllllllll!!!!! My husband leaves without the food!!! Our order was for 6pm then 8pm i had My guests waitingggg!!! Screw u tigranakert i called them the stupid owners wife picked up n talked with attitude .horrible customer service!!!! I will never ever order from them In my life and i told all of my friends n family never to order from them!!! DA' BREAD!!! I am only rating this place based on their breads. In particular the one that looks like a huge flat football. This is possibly one of the best breads ever crafted in the history of mankind. It's about inch and a half high, about 2 feet long, shaped like a NFL football that Godzilla might have sat on, and it has the aroma of godliness. If heaven is a country village, this is the bread they bake there. You can make sandwiches. Have it with soup. Serve it with salads. You can have it naked or with some butter. It goes well with jam, peanut butter, ham, sausages, pate, cheeses of all kinds, smoked fish, fried fish (I haven't tried it with sushi yet but I will soon), etc etc etc. This bread is so good you'll start buying 10 loaves at a time like the other customers. I don't even know how the word hasn't gotten out about this but if you love good bread (and this does not mean you need to be a foodie) then you take your sourdough and rye (why is there only sourdough and rye at most bakeries?) eating ass over there and try it. And no this is not an "artisan bread". This is the real deal. Not some homemade experiment with a pinch of rosemary added to the crust and slapped with the "artisan" label just to be fashionable or justify selling it for $10 a loaf. The flat football bread is less than $2 bucks but I'll bet this bread will roundhouse kick anything that all the Iron Chefs or Wolfgang Puck and their 300% sodium/sugar injected asses have to offer. I dare you to buy one and not resist having a taste before you get home. It's impossible. Go ask Mr Owl. read more

Started shopping here for all my meat. Was looking for Karabach and this place came up. The prices are very reasonable (filet shish kabob) is $10 a pound. Try the lula kabob, difficult to skewer however it's delicious. They also have a great selection of cheeses and olives. read more

The customer service are SO rude and not helpful at all, unless you speak their language. The cashier, Gayanne, when I was paying her, dropped the change due to me on her side of the counter as she was giving back to me, and when I pointed it out she said, "it's just change!" Sure it's just change, but it's MY change you owe me. I'm not going to hop over the counter to get it, I'll be arrested. And she didn't even bother picking it up and just avoided me as soon as she bagged my items. Then suddenly I noticed the rest of the staff (men) were all standing around me as if I was the one that has done something wrong. I felt bullied there. But They have a good butcher selection, and the rest of their products are just canned or jars. read more

After they combined both of the stores together the place has upgraded so much. I know that the management has changed too and you can totally tell by the quality of the product and the service you get there. Their sandwiches are best, the salads are always freshly made and taste amazing. We ordered kebabs from this place for thanksgiving day ahead of time. When the time came to pick it up they told us they are running behind and need another 30-40 minutes. We went back to pick it up after another hour of waiting on thanksgiving dinner and again they asked for another 30 minutes. After Another 30 minutes of waiting we went back in the middle of thanksgiving dinner to pick up the kebabs. We asked if there's anything else they can do for the inconvenience they have cause. The women who claimed to be the manager, with the rudest attitude, said she can give us a discount for 0.46 cents or we can get out. Dumbfounded at first we thought she was joking, but no. The fact that this women had the nerve to say you can get a discount for 46 cents or leave the food on thanksgiving day is ridiculous. This customer service is unheard of and clearly they don't care about any of their customers. I'm not expecting to get anything out of this review, but people need to know when a business is run by rude, inconsiderate, unorganized, and incompetent people. read more

I am a regular at this market. Great inventory, great prices, SUPER fresh meat and fantastic service. Freshly baked breads and pastries are amazing. A little secret (highly recommended) call ahead for their NAPOLEONS. It melts in your mouth and the cream is like home made. Everywhere that I have taken this has been a hit. Also their Khash is great too with plenty of meat and great quality. Also call ahead because they run out fast. They guys in the meat department are full of humor and lots of smiles. I live in Venice Beach and am happy to drive over the 405 to buy their meats. This is my favorite Armenian market. They spice their meats perfectly. Not too salty, just perfect and extremely fresh. Service is always friendly. I've been a loyal customer for over ten years and keep coming back. They also carry great spices, teas, many kinds of feta and many European jarred foods. They also have a great selection of real honey and Eastern European candy. Their deli is also great. I described what kind of salami I like and they were able to suggest the perfect salami for my taste. Now we regularly crave Yevraskya salami. read more
