We were sent a video of our musician and he was wonderful. I sent the requests for our ceremony entrances months in advance and was told that if he couldn't do them they would let me know. Never received a video of him playing any of our songs and I was trusting so we want forward. Day of he showed up upset that there was no shade for him to play in, as direct sunlight warps the pan, but we were never told that that was a requirement- I had no prior knowledge of steel pans and weather. He then proceeded to not play the full hour he was paid for, he used backing tracks which was fine but barely played over them at all, and did not nicely transition the music between cues. Just start and stop, no fading in, and not enough actual steel pan music to make it sound acceptable. We left that day the most upset with the steel pan, which was the most important to us and was very upsetting. I was never sent any option for a review or any feedback so I came here hoping to help any future brides. I'm sure the rest of their music is lovely- do not hire for steel pan.

Having them play just prior/during the ceremony and cocktail hour, unfortunately I only got to hear them during the walks down the aisle but so many of our guests came up to me saying how great the musicians were and how much they loved their song selection. It was a wonderful program that featured music from popular movies and shows and a salute to the Military. It was beautifully performed and entertaining with jokes by the conductor who kept the crowd engaged. It was a lovely late afternoon and evening to be at a sunset show. We brought chairs and sandwiches so we could picnic while we were watching the musicians play. They had box lunches to preorder but we had been too late to order them. It was such a wonderful evening. I really appreciate the people who ran this free event for bringing the Orlando Philharmonic to our town.
