Dr Toni-Ann Elizabeth Wright is an incredible pediatric doctor who offers insightful experience, is an excellent communicator, is an active listener, is patient with children, and is supported by a kind team of empathetic medical professionals. As parents we feel confident that the care provided is going to make a remarkable difference in the quality of life and health for our daughter. The office is clean, two large waiting rooms designated for either sick/well patients, plenty of close onsite free parking, and ease of appointment scheduling through the app, online portal, or phone. As long as caregivers commit to arriving 15 minutes early as requested, the wait times are super minimal. Thank you to Dr Wright and to all the staff at Vanderbilt Integrated Pediatrics at Rivergate! Our daughter always feels comfortable to visit and is developing a positive, healthy mindset about the importance of routine medical care AND the documentation of that care historically to support a long and healthy life. I would not recommend this place for anyone. Seems like all these other reviews were paid actors. Out of all the visits , we have waited 45 mins to an hour to see a Dr. No one takes the time to listen to your concerns, today we waited 1 hour for 5 mins for a doctor to say my child seems fine. When he has active symptoms, come back and see us. Went in 9 days ago to be diagnosed with an ear infection. Told us expect symptoms to get worse, call on Monday if this persists and change medicine. We did exactly that , changed medicine for no symptoms to change but progressively get worse. Called today and was able to be seen , we waited an hour for 5 mins of the drs time. Told us it seems like he has the flu but no ear infection. No testing was done , didn't want to listen to anything I had to say. My child had an active fever and was shy to answer questions therefore he seemed normal. Showed videos of how he has been and that's when I was told it MIGHT be the flu and he is coming down with something else. Come back to see us if anything changes is what I was told. Went in at 10:50 and were the last to be seen. Doctor came in at 11:52 and we were in the truck by 11:57. Saturdays they are open until 12 , so I can only assume everybody was ready to leave. Receptionist is very unprofessional, walked in and she was talking on her personal cell phone , waited two minutes before she opened her window to check us in. I am also congested and had to ask for masks so we wouldn't spread our germs. I will not be returning here , or taking my child back to be seen by any doctor. We have been going here 3 years and it's always like this. We have seen 3 different drs here and they are all the same. Rush to get out of the door. Why ask me a question for my child's symptoms if you aren't going to listen or give any advice that you can't google yourself ? Seriously, If are thinking about taking your child/children here , reconsider and keep looking around. You will only be disappointed. Keep in mind , we are self pay , so maybe that has something to do it ? I am all around disappointed and confused as to why we are always treated this way. Will be contacting office manager on Monday to let them know to make my child inactive patient and we plan on going elsewhere!! If I could give zero stars , I would 10x. read more

Love love love!!! I am so happy I found this place. Everyone here is outstanding and so good with the kids. Once we are checked in at the front they usually call us back immediately that we barely have time to sit or fill out paperwork. The nurses and doctors are gentle with the kids and there is NO mom shaming if your baby is or isnt doing something. They softly but firmly suggest what is recommended for the children. I love that I found this place for my daughter as I have been thrilled with our experience. read more

I'm a bit ashamed of myself for not having reviewed this place before. We have 4 children, ages 7,6,4 and 2 and have been going to Rivergate all along. Not only is our doctor excellent (Dr Edison, with 4 children of his own AND a pediatrician as a wife as well), but all the other doctors there are also great. While we alwayus prefer to see our doc, we are fine with the few times we have to see one of the others (with 4, there are often after-hours calls, Saturday vistis, last minute stop-bys, etc.) The staff there is friendly and helpful. The waiting room is conveniently divided into sick and non-sick. The nurses are nice. I could rave more, but by now I think I've made my point. Its a bit of a drive from where we live, but its well well worth it. read more

We have had the hardest time with this office. They only offer appointments from 9am to 3pm for visits, even though people work. I get off at 4pm, but that's not good enough. They state their hours are from 8am to 4:30pm, but that's clearly just what time someone may or may not pick up the phone. You have to wait for a long time (almost your entire appointment time - I give it an hour), whereas I've been to plenty of doctors who can respect their patients time. These do not. The last appointment I had to wait for an hour, and the doctor saw us for maybe 10 minutes. I don't mind efficiency, but when I wait for an hour to see a doctor, I'd like a tad more face-to-face interaction than "OK, looks good, next." We will be leaving this practice shortly. read more

I have a 9 year old daughter who has gone to Rivergate Pediatrics for her whole life. I love the staff and doctors at this office. They are wonderful and thorough and very good! It can be a wait sometimes, so that can be aggravating, but to me it's worth it to get the best care possible. In fact, my daughter has a cataract in her right eye and my Dr at this practice found it with her little eye light. When I went to a specialist she couldn't believe that she found it without the right equipment. I would recommend this practice to anyone. read more

Used Rivergate Pediatrics for 2 years. They care about their patients and if a problem does arise they make every effort to resolve it. Very clean environment too and waiting area has separate areas for sick and well children. read more

I love Rivergate Pediatrics! My 2 daughters, ages 26 and 28 went there until they were 18 yrs of age and now my granddaughter is going there. I would not dream of having my granddaughter go anywhere else. Dr Keith saw my 2 daughters and now is treating my granddaughter. If your child is sick, they are available on Saturday and Sundays. What other clinic is opened on Sundays? They are definitely there for the parents and children. Very caring and loving. I can't say enough about this clinic. read more

Not a good facility for the well being of children & their healthcare. They refused to see my 13 year old because her mother had an $18 balance. THEY TERMINATED their healthcare services. This is not a good place for your child's healthcare. If they will not see a sick child because they owed $18...they told her mother when she called for an appointment. They told her this over the phone. Dr. Pierson I wish you & your staff well. This is not a good medical procedure. She has been a patient their all of her life 13 years. We have seen a couple of physicians at Rivergate Pediatrics as we used to be in Belle Meade and our pediatrician retired. However, we did not care for Dr. Fields. She wanted to ask too many questions and play liberal psychiatrists to my daughter than check her out physically during my daughters physical. She actually asked my daughter if she knew what she liked yet: preferred girls, boys or both....what....what does that have to do with her physical. I know that these physicians try to build a relationship with the patients to tell them stuff that they wouldn't their parents as some kids need that and I even want that too for my daughters and we love our kids unconditionally and their happiness is our main goal. However, this was all this doctor wanted to concentrate on and kept on coercing her. Fields said.... you know I don't have to tell your mother stuff you tell me because you are my patient, I understand that comment but then ...Dr. Fields even clapped and said woo hoo!!! looks like your mom already has you on the pill isn't that great that is awesome because if you are having sex I could put you on it as my patient and you didn't have to tell your mom....what!!!! what is she encouraging my daughter hasn't even started dating and is a Christian, she was put on the pill to help her with her periods. For you moms of daughters, this doctor is just way to liberal for us and needs to concentrate more on their physical well being as my daughter said...I have a very close relationship with my mom and if need to talk to someone it would be my mother anyway. I think she had a hard time comprehending or relating to their are good girls out there and possibly good parents and I think she overstepped her bounds several times during this physical. read more
