I went to the local Mercedes dealership to get crushed (again) for my rear suspension and power steering for a 2008 Mercedes GL 450. They had no loaner cars, and when they said it would b another $3000, I said no. "I have had it with you guys charging me $3k every time the car needs anything done" So a friend of mine told me about Peter Vandevere in Norwood. When I pulled up and took a look,I immediately knew that this was the right place for my car to be fixed. Peter is an awesome mechanic and most definitely a man of his word. He quoted me a price and performed the work and gave me a lot of other advice, without trying to sell me anything at all! I have been using Vanderveer Motors for about one year. I have a 2003 C Class that needed major front end work. When I brought my car to Peter, he spent almost 45 minutes inspecting it before telling me what was needed. I could not believe how thorough he was. My car ended up needing a lot of work and his prices and workmanship were better than anyone else who I spoke to. Recently, I brought my 2004 Lexus to him with a bad servo motor in the heating system. This was a major tear down of the dashboard to replace it. Again, his costs and labor were much less than the dealer and the quality of his workmanship was outstanding. When I got back into the car, I realized that Peter had detailed the interior and it looks like brand new. I would not take my cars anywhere else. read more
