Hmmm, I'm a bit disappointed with my last visit but I won't boycott indefinitely as I try to support food trucks until they turn into a brick and mortar. I ordered the hot link (#10 on the menu) which is a hot link topped off with grilled onions, jalapeños, mayonnaise, ketchup, and mustard. By the time I got home, the hot dog bun was so soggy - it basically melted in the box. I couldn't eat it :( I will update this review the next time I try something else on their menu. I think the trick is to eat whatever you order right when you receive it. Cash only. read more

This place is so good! I came here by accident and now it's my go to, when I have a cheat day So let me start with the bacon wrapped hot dogs ... they are delicious... the hamburgers are like the ones they sell in Mexico- they are so tasty ...and then let me tell you about the torta de milanesa, it is off the hook! Between hot dogs and hamburgers - I'm definitely a hot dog fan but there are very few places in the area! This truck has been on my wishlist for the longest time. When we went to the flea market this weekend and saw this truck, I knew it was time! The menu is fairly straightforward and the cashier was quite friendly. I ordered a number 1 - bacon wrapped hot dog with ketchup, mustard, mayo, jalapeños, onions at $5. The order came out quite fast and I was impressed by how it looked! It was saucy - tart and creamy, beyond savory with lovely textures from the veggies. We will definitely return and try the other hot dogs. read more

Vanessa's hot dogs are so good! I ordered the bacon wrapped hot link and the regular bacon wrapped hot dog. I thought the hot dogs looked small at first (must've been from staring at the giant hot dogs on the truck), but it's actually pretty filling. The truck is parked in a small lot in front of the Tropicana Liquor store. There are several spots for parking but it's usually full when I come here. I just park behind the hot dog truck since it's pretty quick. Will definitely be back! read more

We used to come here often as my wife loves their Elotes En Vaso but the last few times we've gone, the chile they use for the corn is extremely salty to where we throw away the top portion to get rid of the chile and salt. Please take the salt out of the chile! Its so salty that you actually feel the salt burn. read more

It looks so good on the picture but it's a disappointment. The hotdog it's self it's the the very thing hot dog. The bacon is wrapped only on half of the hotdog. I tasted more of the jalapeños thrown on top than anything else. read more

Vanessa's hot dogs are SO good!! I don't even like mustard, mayo, or jalapenos but the combination of those ingredients on this hot dog are literally delicious. The bacon is super crispy, the onions are caramelized perfectly, and the flavors just combine perfectly. I do wish the bun was more toasted though because towards the end the bun got really soggy and fell apart. But other than that, these hot dogs are delicious and I highly recommend! read more

BOMB! I mean, you can't go wrong with a bacon wrapped hotdog (..unless you're vegan). Always fresh, but also always busy! Expect to wait in line especially anytime after 4:00pm. On our recent trip we got 6 hotdogs of various combinations for about $24 cash. Not bad! Try it out! read more

**Cash only** I found out about this place from a friend and wooow. These hot links were bomb. They are pretty small in my opinion but they are very generous with toppings. I also got a chance to try their elote which was also really good (don't get it in a cup though because it gets watery). We ordered 6 hot dogs & 1 elote in a cup for $41. I say it was definitely worth it. We came on a Wednesday night - no lines - about a 10 minute wait for all of our food. Definitely check this place out :) read more

Located my Tropicana liquor on Story road. A food truck that tickles your taste buds. They just expanded their menu. Now added burger and fries and elotes (Mexican style corn on the cob). Their bacon wrapped hot dog is their original claim to fame. It's bacon wrapped and full of Mexican goodies like onions jalapeños sour cream. It is soooo good. Well what can I say other then it did fill me up the hotdog is $4.00. Got it with everything on it. Im used to the bacon having a bit more of a crunch to it. Other then that the food was good something easy to get on the way to an event or out of town. Still have to try there dorito and lay hot dogs also some of the corn they have an burger so I will add more to this review. read more

$10 for two smaller hot dogs, bacon wrapped and griddled crispy with a lot of toppings. Like the Ball Park-brand size, as opposed to Costco food court size. But they are piled high with onions, jalapenos, and all the rest. I got mine with everything, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Prices aren't posted, so I just had to guess until my credit card statement came in. Easy parking in the lot of the convenience store. read more

Great stationary food truck set up! Everyone placed their orders and was either back in their car or social distancing while they waited for these tasty , well condiment-ed dogs! The bacon hides nestled between the buns wrapped around the hot dog and the jalapeños brings the right amount of heat but it's not overwhelming! I chased mine with a grape Crush soda and enjoyed every morsel! You definitely could be greedy and get multiplies, but one was a wonderful treat for me! read more

They recently change to a food truck, I being going there for over a year, they are good. they add corn to the menu which is good for after ur meal lol (fatty) They dont have chairs or table but u will see people eating in the back of their cars or even standing up, it really dont matter u will enjoy it regardless read more

Cheap, quick and nice hot dogs, we asked ours to be made spicy and he added extra jalapenos on it. $3 per hot dog, were really good! Come in nice packages to take them home, or you can even sit in the parking lot and enjoy them. Good for a quick bite. read more

If you haven't tried this place, GO ASAP! I don't have much to say about this place because it just speaks for itself. Bacon-wrapped hot dogs for $2.50?? 2 please!! If you're a big eater like I am, trust me, you're gonna want to order two. The hot dogs remind me of when I was visiting Hollywood and they'd have hot dog ladies every few steps along the Walk of Fame. I was so hungry that day I literally finished my dirty dog in 3 bites. I'm so glad my friend took me here. I can't believe I didn't know about this place until now. It's $2.50 for a hotdog wrapped in bacon with grilled onions and jalapeño with sauces on the side to add on from pico de gallo, tomatoes, jalapeño, onions, ketchup, mayonnaise, and mustard. It's delicious on a cold night. Biting into the juicy and warm hotdog just keeps your stomach warm and happy! I'll definitely be back! And there's a taco truck right across from it and it's also very tasty! Just $1.25/ taco!!! If you're a fatty like me, you can get both hotdog and tacos ;) and for dessert, there is a Mexican churro stand. Don't even hesitate coming here. Just do it and get everything on your hot dog when you're there. Get some jalapenos on the side (if you like spicy!!) while you're waiting. The toppings include: ketchup, mustard , mayo, grilled onions and jalapenos on a bacon wrapped hot dog in your average bun. Then you can add additional salsa on it if you want. Most of the food is prepared in a food truck where you line up and order. Seating is next to the sauce bar and they have first come first serve seating. Typical culture is to put the sauce directly on the tacos when you receive them. They give sauce cups if you order to go otherwise they are reluctant to give them out. Currently they are constructing a building around their seating area which is new. This implies that they are generating enough cash to turn their food truck and seating area into an actual establishment. Onto the food review! Carne Asada 7/10 Lengua 7.5/10 Carnitas 8/10 Cabeza 8.3 /10 Suadero 8.5/10 Al Pastor 8.5/10 Suadero and Pastor were top contenders with the most flavor depth. Personally I liked the cabeza as it was very soft, but the flavor can't compare to the suadero. The carne asada lacked flavor in my opinion and was the least tasty out of the meats we tried. Carnitas had that great crunch you're looking for in a taco as it is seared excellently. Lengua was flavorful and super soft just like the cabeza which indicates that they were both braised to perfection. All choices are very solid albeit be prepared for a very greasy meal. The star of the show is their avocado salsa! They offered 6 other sauces in their sauce bar but the avocado salsa was superb compared to the others. This was the only option that had me coming back to sauce bar throughout my meal. They also offered pickled carrots, jalapeños, and onions at their sauce bar to help balance the flavors. Finally the best JD big back tip is to get the large strawberry horchata! It was so good we finished ours before even taking a picture of it! The flavor profile on that beverage is superb, imagine a creamy strawberry yakult that is the perfect option to balance greasy tacos. This is a hidden gem item as their strawberry horchata is significantly better than other restaurants version of it. They also offer other flavored horchata but the strawberry remains top tier.

They provide a marinade to brush on while you grill your own BBQ and provide vinegar and another sweet sauce for you to dip it in post-grilling. Overall, the flavor is really good and you can't really go wrong. They carry other items on the menu in which they serve to you such as sisig, pares, siaomai, empanada (available weekends only), lumpia, melon juice, etc. And yes they have rice! I wish I took pictures of the food we ordered but the kids got to it first while we were bbqing. We went on a Thursday evening so it wasn't too crowded but they still kept the party going with karaoke and music. I could imagine the place being full on weekends. The parking could also get tricky in that area if full too. They take cash, Zelle, and card (with surcharge). The grill is located inside in the center of the restaurant so it gets pretty smoky inside even with all the doors open and vents running. So expect to smell like delicious bbq coming out lol.
