Corn dog was like frozen and reheat. The only good thing here is Chicago dog. It's not the best but for that's price, I'm happy. I don't like the sausage sandwich, taste like a dead bug with rotton green apple smell.

I saw a friend try the fish & chips here and it made me really curious if it was any good... Turns out? It's not too bad. For a hot dog fast food chain, they actually didn't disappoint me. I don't think I would recommend it to friends though. The fish kinda reminds of me the freezer fish sticks that I would eat afterschool as a kid... which is somehow more nostalgic than a turn off??? If you're looking for a quick and cheap alternative to cure your fish & chips cravings, this is not too bad. The batter wasn't too oily or thick, and I love the fries here typically! Paired well with the fish. The tartar sauce was creamy and tangy! Pretty flavorful for dipping both the fries and fish. The staff here are also so sweet and friendly! KEEP IN MIND: there is no drive thru, but they do have a good amount of parking.

Wow! I can't believe I'm the first to review!!! I even added the business on Yelp! Woo hoo! Then I noticed I wasn't actually the first one. I just had a hard time finding it. Why Yelp? Why? After my man and I had a spontaneous date at Devine Cheese, we stopped by at this place since her girl wanted hot dogs for dinner. We were full from all the cheese plate and wine, but I wanted a corn dog. When I was eight, I would go with my sister to to her tennis practice, and afterwards we would go to a Weinershnitzel for a corn dog. I remember it was the best thing ever when you're eight! Thirty-five years later I still enjoyed a corn dog from Weinershnitzel. Was it nostalgia that made me like the corn dog so much? Or was it the crispy outside with a tender hot dog inside that got me excited?!? Or maybe it was the combination of salty meat and slightly sweet batter? Whatever it was the corn dog was highly pleasant to the taste. A delicious irony.

Junkyard hot dog and chili cheese fries

Honestly a great meal for a fast food joint! I ordered the junkyard hot dog and chili cheese fries. The junkyard hot dog was a 4/5 - pretty standard hot dog with chili, mustard, diced onions, and French fries on top. The chili cheese fries were bomb - 5/5. I'd totally get the chili cheese fries again! Overall a good fast food stop. The total came out to be $7.53 including tax which was pretty cheap!

Weinerschnizal will always have a place in my heart. Artery clogged, but in my heart nonetheless. I used to hoard coupons from the junk mail when I was a broke high school and college student, and this was cheap fast food that would hit the spot. The chili cheese dog + chili cheese burger + chili cheese fries was my jam for like $6. I think the coupon and pricing hasn't changed either. Good for them. Nowadays, I'm not sure if my pallet has evolved, or if Weinerschnizal had gotten more salty over the years, but I can feel my feet and hands swell up when I bite into their chili dogs. It's probably been a good 10+ years since I've been to the 'Schnitz, so maybe a little from column A and B. Good drunk munchies at the very best. If I was craving a hot dog, I'd probably try across the street at Foster Freeze for a little higher quality. I will say that there chili cheese fries, as overly salty as they taste, are still some of the best in the game. Just drink lots of water after.

Wienerschnitzel's is always 5 stars for me. Every so often, gotta have a good dog or two or three. Today, had a chili cheese dog, a Chicago dog, and a Junkyard dog, with some fries. I was in heaven!

They are seemingly ordinary looking, in the heart of Downtown San Jose, but you are kindly greeted by staff at the front counter when you enter. They are patient and explain the menu items to you. And when your order comes, they have this knowingness, as though they let you in on a secret, "There you go. Do you want the spicy orange sauce?" Yas! The friendly personalities of the staff seem to be a standout. Go here to satisfy your wagyu smash burger hankerings. They are so flavorful and juicy, and well worth the visit! At grand opening, my husband and I were able to spark up a conversation with the owner. He had such a welcoming, amiable quality naming the other fellow smash burger joints in the area that he himself would recommend trying. It was then that we learned about his use of New School American Cheese, which they use for the burgers. This American cheese aspires to use premium quality ingredients that allow for a sexy melt that oozes on the smash burgers in an unprocessed sort of way. I find this to be a critical decision, and is one of the reasons why I continue to go here! But my review today really has to be for the Jumbo Ripper which I ordered with the tater tots. The hot dog is deep fried in beef tallow, creating a juicy snap to the hot dog. The tater tots had that excellent crunch factor. Dress both of them up either in ketchup or their Spicy "6" Sauce -- or both! Yeah! Just go here and try it! :D

The restaruant itself has bar seating and two tables that seat four each, it's not very spacious. We were greeted, and helped quickly. We ordered a pizza, and bought single slices, to try out while we waited for the larger pizza. They do not have fountain drinks, but they do sell indivual cans of soda. We ended up purchasing 3 slices of pizza, 1 whole pizza and 4 cans of soda. The pizza is not cheap, but they also don't use cheap ingredients either. It's very good pizza.
