I love the original location in Miami lakes so I had to check out if the new location lived up to the expectations, and boy it did! Parking may seem like it would be annoying because of its location inside the Miramar city hall promenade but there's a parking garage across the street. Parking is free for the first two hours. As soon as you are closer to the entrance of the cafe you are immediately taken aback by the beautiful floral decoration around the door. Once you step inside, it is huge! So much seating and outside seating as well. I had to order my usual tuna croissant. Delicious. I always try to order a different Iced coffee when I visit so this time I tried the Iced caramel brûlée latte and it was tasty. I liked everything so much I went back a few days later and ordered to go the ham and cheese croissant and iced hazelnut latte. This time around I could barely taste the hazelnut flavor. Both visits the service was very attentive. The inside is beautifully decorated. The aesthetics are 10/10. read more

Cute place! You order at the counter and someone will bring you your food. I had the French onion soup and the quiche Lorraine, while my companion had the lobster bisque and quiche Lorraine. They were okay. I also had a diet Coke and my friend had a tea and a tiramisu tart. Some of the other food looked good but I didn't know what to order. The bottom of the quiche could have been cooked more. We only ate 1/2 the tiramisu. There is street parking and garage parking, where you get the first 2 hours free. Well.. This place was a disappointment. We got 2 drinks (a vanilla matcha and a creme brulee latte) and a guava and cheese croissant. The drinks took a long time to come out. When they did, I wish they never even made them. The matcha was gross and clumpy. I stirred it soooo much and the matcha just was not good quality and would not incorporate. The flavor wasn't good either. The latte was ok, but tasted very generic. You can tell they use premade sauces/syrups. The croissant was not good. Stiff, not flakey, and very dry. The cheese in the filling also tasted like cream, not cheese. The staff were friendly, but the food was just not good. It's also somewhat expensive for such mediocre food. There's lots of tables to sit inside, though, and the inside is cutely decorated. I just don't think I'll be coming here again, it's just not worth the price. read more

Stopped by Vanilla Espresso in Miramar for their grand opening and had a really great first experience. The space has a clean, modern feel but still manages to be cozy--definitely the kind of spot you can see yourself hanging out in for a while. Vanilla Espresso French Cafe opened a new location in Miramar City Hall area. This charming cafe had its soft launch today. The interior is cozy with French inspired decor and atmosphere. It's spacious with comfortable seating, good lighting and friendly welcoming staff. We placed our order with the barista at the coffee bar and chose a table in the corner below a cherry blossom tree decor. The cafe is so picturesque! Our food was brought out about 10 mins later. However, we waited 25 mins for our coffee. During this time we checked twice with a waiter and were told they are working on it. After my third follow up, we finally got it. Disregarding the wait time, their coffee is exceptional- rich and smooth with the perfect temperature. I paired my cappuccino with a perfectly flaky and buttery goat cheese and honey croissant. I definitely see future dilemmas as this location is steps away from my gym. LOL! read more

For the new location in Miramar town center - gorgeous space inside and out, with French music playing. Very friendly service, and good food. Went on a Friday morning, so service was quick.If you've never been to the area, there are multiple free parking garages nearby just look for the signs. Walked in the first week on Saturday, and looked like you would need your patient pants - there was a pretty long line and could visibly see a few tables still waiting for drinks and food, so we left. A little pricey, but fun for a family occasion, we'll add to our neighborhood rotation. May give it a go early in the morning on the weekend next time. read more

I really wanted to like this place because it's been on my list for a while. I ordered the caramel latte, which was actually pretty good and definitely the highlight. Unfortunately, the pistachio croissant was a letdown because it was hard and had barely any pistachio cream filling. Isolated in the quiet Miramar neighborhood is this gem of a gem French cafe. Granted I only had an iced latte, but you better believe I will be back soon to taste some of their menu items as well always looking for the perfect g work from home just not at home experience? This is the place. Soft French music playing in the background indoors and outdoors. So happy I stumbled upon this cute cafe while in South Florida. The space is so cute and the employees were so nice and friendly. I ordered their creme brulee latte and it was absolutely delicious. Johnathan was a great host, he asked if we had been here before, and we said no he was quick to explain the way the restaurant functions and it made our experience much more enjoyable. All the staff members were extremely friendly and open to answering all of our questions about the food items when the food came out, we were very impressed with the way it was presented and we're even more impressed. So happy they opened this cafe close to where I live. So far I've visited this establishment a total of 3 times and each visit has been great. First visit I bought a mocha which was full of flavor and a large Nutella and Strawberry croissant, which was delicious! My second visit I opted for a slice of their Chèvre quiche which came with a small container of yogurt with granola and fruit. My take on the quiche it was pretty flat and small for the price, but the taste was good. Just wish it would have been bigger. Yogurt and fruit was small, but accompanied the quiche well. On my third visit, my husband and I couldn't decide which croissants we wanted to taste so we decided to buy the La Vie en Rose which consisted of 12 mini croissants. You can choose any of your selection of fillings from the croissant menu. We decided on 3 ham and cheese, 3 bacon and mayo, 3 nutella and strawberries and 3 caprese's. We brought them home and made breakfast sandwiches out of a few of the bacon and mayo, and ham and cheese croissants by adding a fried egg which was delicious. The others we're going to have for lunch later today. Buying the La Vie en Rose deal you get so much more for your money and it allows you to try many different kinds. Along with this purchase you get a free cup of tea. I haven't dined inside yet, but from what I could see it looks very nice, and I love the cherry blossom tree that they have against the wall in the back. They have a decent variety on their food menu to choose from along with hot and cold drinks. If you haven't had a chance to visit yet, it's definitely worth checking them out so you can judge for yourself. read more

Love this cafe, I go almost everyday as I live next to it. The caprese croissant & guava and cream cheese croissant are my favorite. My toddler loves all their mini cakes and cake pops. My pistachio latte is always perfect. The staff are so friendly and sweet. They he ambiance is beautiful and always so clean. - For the reviews not putting 5 stars im assuming they aren't used to food that has minimal ingredients and more clean tasting. -Also they just opened let's relax, they are human not robots. -they are making the food and coffees to order, it is not fast food or a drive thru. It's an actual barista and chefs. So the reviews that do not have 5 stars and have these ridiculous comments, make your own coffee and sandwich or go across the street to Dunkin' Donuts and get the chemical filled sugary salty fast food :) read more

The Truth: Food tastes very okay. Is the food worth the pricing of what they are serving? No. Definitely not. Keep your expectations at a minimum and you will potentially enjoy yourself. One of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. The line was long and we waited an hour and a half to get our food once we ordered. The food was cold and horribly prepared. The French toast was extremely hard and looked like frozen French toast sticks. The breakfast I ordered was supposed to come with 2 eggs and only came with one. The Greek yogurt had someone's scrambled eggs in it because I ordered over easy so couldn't possibly be mine. They need more staff and better cooks.
