I've been by this restaurant a fair number of times as I headed into Whole Foods, but hadn't ever been in before. Today, I decided to check it out. First off, I love the play on the name since the area code in the county is 954. The restaurant is a spacious place with some kind of weird seating (half booth and half chairs are the norm). On the right is a place to order boba, and to the left you order pho and other food items. There's a bit of a selection, but sadly they no longer serve banh mi, which is what I wanted. I went with a spring roll. You get two good sized ones for a little over $10. Noodles, your choice of protein and selection of veggies. The server builds it as you move along. They were good, but not spectacular. But I did notice that the pho looked pretty good. Maybe I should have gone with that? I'll have to go in again and try it. The people working there were all nice enough so there's that. And I should note that they have a 4% surcharge if you pay by credit card. A lot of people recommended this pho place, so our expectations were high. We came on a Friday afternoon around 5:30 and it wasn't too busy but it wasn't empty either. I was taken back at first because I had never been to a pho place where you can create your own pho or spring rolls. We played it safe and ordered the chicken pho. We also ordered two springs rolls-which I did not know it was the create your own at first. With the create your one spring roll you can choose 1 protein and can add as many toppings as you'd like. I thought the chicken pho could have been better as it barely had chicken in it and not as flavorful as I'm used to having. However, we were surprised by the spring rolls. It was a generous portion and it was prepared well. We really enjoyed the rolls. Customer service was okay, could definitely have been more engaging and welcoming. The place is big inside and nicely decorated but the tables and chairs could have been a little cleaner. Each tv had a different build your own menu for different things depending on what you wanted. We thought it was like chipotle, but the counter was broken up into protein/toppings based on what you got. We each got a build your own pho. They give a generous amount of meat and the broth had great flavor. It was a smaller portion that we were expecting, but it was good for the price. The person helping constructing our bowls was very helpful in telling us what we could choose. We also got the pho fries to go. You can order a banhmi sandwich, spring rolls, rice, noodle salad or noodle soup. Then you can pick your protein, vegetables, side condiments, broth and or sauces. This is like a chipotle style Vietnamese restaurant. Instead of making my own pho, I ordered the pho dac biet, which includes all types of beef. And the meal wouldn't be complete without the Vietnamese drip coffee. The pho was overall pretty authentic. The vermicelli was a bit soggy, in my opinion. I've been meaning to stop by here for a while. I found myself in the area and got here a little before they opened. Upon coming in, the place looks very clean and it's nicely lit. I was greeted right away, and the young man was very helpful that assisted me. I ended up getting the oxtail pho to go. I had to choose all of my toppings, which was a bit confusing because I didn't know what went well with this. I was extremely impressed with the packaging they have for to go orders, it made it all the way back to my house without spilling. The pho was very delicious, the beef broth had the right amount of richness. I had just enough of everything but probably would get more noodles next time because I had some broth left over. I also ordered brisket with assorted mushroom pho. I had all the toppings added but jalepenos. I have only had pho a few times. This one did not have much flavor. The brisket was very bland. They did add a lot of it though so if you like brisket, you will receive a lot. The broth was ok. I did like the mushrooms. This restaurant is very clean and the staff are all pleasant. Interesting take on pho shop. It's a chipotle style food line for pho. There is another counter for bubble tea, which seemed quite popular as well. I did not try on this visit. They have a menu that you can look at in line. It seemed everyone knew what they wanted except me. Growing up to $6 bowls of pho, it's hard to justify current pho prices. I went with the Pho Dac Biet but without tendon and tripe. This allowed me to try the meats that I liked for without having to get the super combo. The serving line went well. They have the normal condiments and all that in self-serve area. Toppings are all inside already, not like on a plate for you to do yourself. There were a lot of meatballs and I didn't love them and didn't finish them. Felt like I ran out of noodles very quickly. Other than that, quantity was nice. The broth was decent enough but wasn't quite appealing enough drink it all. The system... not everyone was bussing their own stuff so some tables were not clean. We were overcharged for items we never selected and then we were charged more paying cash versus credit card, despite the tablet saying it should be dollars less. I won't penny pinch, so not worth the argument at the counter; however, I would say inconsistent pricing would lead to non-returning customers. I cannot recommend this place. I was looking for a lunch spot to take my team and came across Nine Five Pho. I love puns so the name definitely caught my eye. When you walk in this place is like no other pho place I have been to. This is a very friendly place to start your pho journey if you have never tried it. They have build your own bahn mi, pho, noodle stations which is super unique. I ordered the short rib pho, my employees got the oxtail pho, beef pho and wings with fries. Some had not had much experience with pho and they loved it. The flavors were great, the broth had great depth. The restaurant decor is super cute and a location where you could have a nice meal with friends. So I'm definitely going to have to recommend the pork here, it's got some really good flavor. I've had the Bahn Mi (with Grilled Pork, Cucumber, Pickled Carrots and Daikon, Cilantro and Watermelon Radish) with the Nine Five Pho Sauce, and it was really good. And I've also had the C2, which is a Vermicelli Noodle Bowl with Grilled Pork, lettuce, picked carrots and daikon, mint, cucumber and cilantro, topped with fried shallots, crushed peanuts and an Eggroll and a side of the Vietnamese Vinaigrette. The place has a nice and bright interior that's got lots of instagram friendly decor. It's also a shared space with Boba and Chill, so you can make the line for food and get that prepared right in front of you and then step into the line for Boba and Chill to get your drink order going. After that you can take a seat and wait for your drink to be delivered to your table. My family loves coming here, glad to have it in the community! read more

Here's what you need to know about Nine Five Pho - delicious flavor, huge portions, reasonable prices, convenient location, with fast and friendly service. I definitely see myself becoming a regular here! I kept things simple on my first visit and got the bun thit nuong (C2 without peanuts and added jalapeños). First impressions, I was floored by the amount of meat in the bowl! Once I dove in, I found that the pork was absolutely delicious, tender and not fatty with the perfect balance of sweet and savory flavors. The spring roll was crispy, the veggies and herbs were super fresh, and the vermicelli had a good texture. If I had to critique anything, I'd say I wished some of the mint pieces were a little smaller, but honestly, it was fantastic. I was able to get 2 meals out of this, so at $15 a bowl it was an extremely reasonable price per portion. I also tried a bite of my dad's rice bowl (the C4 with lemongrass chicken and tofu). The lemongrass chicken was really juicy and had great flavor, I would definitely order this on a future visit. The tofu, while nice and crispy, was a bit bland in my opinion. Okay for a textural element in the bowl, but I'd probably try the lemongrass tofu next time instead. I love how many options this place has, from pho to banh mi to bowls with so many customization options for each. I feel like regardless of who I brought with, everyone in a group could find something that they'd enjoy. The plaza is right off of I75, so it's very easy to access. Ordering is done at the counter and you bring your plates to your table, but staff do rounds through the seating area and will offer to take your dishes when you're done and bring you containers to pack up leftovers. I wasn't let down. The taste is almost identical to the OG's in Davie, absolutely delicious! I had the P3 (Beef Pho). The portions are huge (as expected) and are full of flavor. They of course had my favorite Pho sauce - Hosein sauce, which made it that much tastier. A week later I went with my boyfriend and he had the chicken pho and he was a big fan of it and helped him sooth stomach ache. THE SERVICE: The staff is fast, knowledgeable and so so so polite (refreshing to see) . I will say, that I do not like the menu design, as it seems overwhelming in structure and design, and hope they can work on it to make it more guest friendly.
