I literally always come here for their red velvet snow bubble. Something about it is addicting. I've had this a week straight before LOL. The large is about 7 bucks. Staff is all friendly. The reason for 2 star: Customer service was awesome! The missing 3 other stars: Drinks need to be improved. I got the avocado snow bubble - I asked if they use real avocado, she said yes. But when I got my drink, there's no avocado taste, just the milky, sugary taste . Good thing I have avocado at home, which I mashed & mixed into my drink to make it taste like an avocado drink. My daughter got Hokkaido milk, same thing, tasted like regular milk. We used to love getting drinks from here, sad that we didn't get the satisfaction we were expecting. read more

It has been over 2 weeks since the incident and although there have been two communications to me regarding this, there has been no resolve. Owner Tommy T, accused me of harassment, fabricating a story, and said that if I had simply reached out to management first it would have been handled already. Oh and the best part? My refund is being held hostage CONTINGENT on removal of this review. I have spent thousands of dollars over the years at Vanitea. To lose any customer over a rightfully owed $10 refund, is even more foolish as the female employee I was on the phone with. Instead of apologizing for how his employee communicated with me and acknowledging that since there was no labor or materials used to create an order that I should surely get a refund, I am here still waiting resolution. This really should have gone one of two ways: 1) Refund, since I called immediately and the drinks were not made. 2) Since this is not a franchise and I was sitting in front of their other location, she should have called Rancho and ask them to make the order there instead. read more

Meh. We came in during the evening hours and it was a little busy, but the wait wasn't too bad. They have a large variety of options, which looked good and it was kind of hard to choose. I ended up going with the Thai Tea and it was very lackluster. Hardly any flavor and lacked richness. Additionally, the boba was not soft or chewy, instead they were a bit hard. My daughter enjoyed her Taro, but mentioned that it tasted a little watered down. They have a lot of seating inside, and I remember previous visits being more enjoyable, but this one missed the spot. read more

I've come here multiple times before but today was just exceptional! The girl ringing us up named Shine was super friendly, answered my questions, & even offered to split the boba into 2 cups for my kids. No other person has ever offered that. She had a great smile that matched her name. & the fact that they accepted cash today just put me over the top with joy because it seems like no one accepts cash these days. It was the best. Stopped by this place after a weekend dinner with two friends and it's a cute, clean boba shop with spacious indoor seating. Also, the playlist was fire haha. I got the wintermelon black milk tea which was recommended by the cashier whom I asked about her fave drinks. I ordered my milk tea with no toppings and 50% sweetness, and less ice, which was perfect for me. The service was quick and efficient. There's also plenty of free parking outside since it's located in a plaza surrounded by other establishments. Overall, I'd go back to try other drinks on their menu. read more

The only reason I come here sometimes is because it's the closest boba tea place near me. The customer service is dismissive at best. I'm usually met with passive aggression, indifference, and an almost gatekeepy environment. If there is any boba place that's closer than this one , go there. If ur like me and this is the closest. I suggest u make the drive to a further one. Avocado snow and Almond snow drinks were delicious. I've only been there twice, but so far I have no complaints.

Came here thinking it was just a no-name mediocre place. I was proven so wrong. Got the snow cap horchata drink and it was easily one of the top 3 drinks I've ever gotten. I can definitely say this place is even better than Korean Rose. The worker Jireh was a little weird though - she just stared at my face for like 10 seconds at the front. I've came here once with my husband because we were over at the tuxedo rental shop and decided to get some drinks and they were very good.

This is pretty nice cafe. I stopped in for some milk tea and ordered the Organic VaniTea Milk Tea made from black tea and no boba. It was a pretty good milk tea and came with a pretty ratio of ice to tea. I went with a 1/4 sweet level which had the perfect sweet level for me. However, the overall flavor of the black tea was rather mute. I like to taste that black tea. In the end, I thought it was a good black milk tea but not great. The cafe offered some good seating inside with free Wi-Fi. The staff members were friendly enough but they could of been a little more informed regarding the ingredients of their milk teas. read more

Speaking of the art, right when we walked in, to the left unveils a colorful city art with their logo, and to the right displays golden wings that is instagram worthy. There is also a red couch for you to sit at the back and a shelf, displaying their business merchandise. Their menu is printed on the wall, with good size font for even my eyes to see. I ordered the "Rain Drop Cake" which was very satisfying and highly recommended. Comes in a 'boat' shaped plate on a wooden board with their design on it. Along with the Rain Drop Cake (which is like clear jelly), soybean powder and simple syrup surrounds the 'cake'. You can easily spend from $3.00 - $15.00 depending on what you're craving for. On the menu, they sell more than 32 flavors of Snow Bubble Teas, Milk Teas, Teas, Slushies|Icy, Coffees, Yogurts, and Desserts. Not only you can choose the flavor of your Snow Bubble, but you can also add ingredients to it such as Cap'n Crunch or actual Cotton Candy on top and choose the sweetness level from 25% - 100%. Parking isn't bad due to its location in a shopping center, and they also have Wi-Fi. Waste of time and money. If I wasn't rushing to bring food home, I would have gone back for a refund for our 2 drinks. The taro boba we ordered was watered down and the ice was fresh... So guess what happens to the flavor after time. I would not suggest going here. There's a Vietnamese restaurant next door... Great boba. I thought I'd give Vanitea a chance because it's supposed to to be their speciality... My mistake. The customer service was nice. Came here with my 2 kiddos (I'm always saying kiddos when they are ages 24 and 19 lol but they are STILL MY KIDDOS!!) for an afternoon refreshment and snack...we ordered the Captain Crunch snow ice, Oreo snow ice and sted caramel snow ice. We also had a few of the macaroons. We all love our snow ice and the macaroons were pretty good BUT I suggest you let the macaroons sit out for a bit because they taste better at room temperature than straight from the refrigerator. I came here for the first time last Friday with my girlfriend Nikki, she lives so close by that she and her boys just bike over! The cafe is super cute and very picturesque, it looks like they've done a major upgrade from what the photos on yelp shows. Vanitea now has tall ceiling and really large menu on the side wall, there was cute little seating area and plenty of tables for those who wanted to eat their deserts and drink their teas. Drink wise, I ordered their taro milk tea with boba and Nikki ordered their regular milk tea and a cap n' crunch snow bubble for her son. The price points are pretty average, similar price points at other tea locations. Nikki treated for our drinks but I'm sure our total wasn't more than $15 for 3 drinks. I opted to get us macaroons instead a total of six to share between us. The cashier was super friendly and after sitting for a bit we received our order. My taro milk tea was perfect, light ice and good amount of sweetness, I think you have the option to adjust the sweetness level of your drinks too, I like that! With regards to the macaroons they are just so delicious, scrumptious little cookies that pack so much flavor. I definitely want to come back and try that rain drop cake and their brick toast, I love brick toast! Service was great, drinks and sweets were even better. read more

The milk (or horchata?) tasted expired and really foul and had a bad lingering aftertaste.. My friends and I were looking for some dessert after eating tacos around the area. Yes, we drove all the way from Riverside to San Diego for the best tacos everrrrrr.. I searched for places on Yelp and this place popped up. This place is small but cozy. The ambience is trendy, with a little tree with lights in the center and lots of flowers around. Only a few tables inside. The barista greeted up on arrival and made make recommendations as to what's popular and tasty. (You guys, they have macaroon ice cream sandwiches!!!!) I had a regular iced Thai tea with boba and a red velvet macaroon and my friends had different drinks, like the green tea kit Kat latte (YUM). The drink was delicious and the macaroon was the best I've tasted in a while. I can now see why they're pricey in the first place lol. I will definitely be coming back whenever I'm in the area (which will be next week for Lana's concert..YAAAYYYY!!) and I will be trying that tempting macaroon ice cream sandwich!! read more

03-26-20 came by here today, called in my order and picked it up. I ordered their VaniTea Milk Tea, large, less sugar and boba. It was SOOO good. I passed by it again on the way home and I almost came back to get another one. The milk tea itself had good flavor, not watered down and the boba was perfectly cooked. It wasn't as chewy as other places, still chewy but it also melts in your mouth. Very happy with my drink. I came in and the place was very nice and cozy even if there's no dine-in right now. They also have French macarons and desserts on their menu. I highly recommend this spot. Wish it was a lot closer to me but I wouldn't mind driving here to get my drink! read more

My go to for my boba. No matter who's working, they'll greet you as you enter and they'll help with all your questions. I love their Thai tea (yeah I know.. simple), my mom loves their taro milk tea, and my dad loves their avocado snow bubble (which has actual avocados in it). All of the drinks are very good and their honey boba tops their drinks off with magic in your mouth. They just remodeled so check em out ASAP! I go to vanitea to do some homework. I would like to comment on one of the staff members, Keilana. I had a few questions about the sweetness and what a snow bubble was. This is just a review on the Vietnamese coffee. It so good! Authentic taste like condense milk in it. I was passing by from out of town so I only had it once and can't review their other stuff. I took off one star because it was kind of pricey and had lots of ice (the large cubes too). Not sure if less ice was an option but I would recommend if so. I also got sea cream added but that was not worth it for an extra 75 cents for it to be lightly coated on cup walls. The decor was very cute; IG worthy with the red couch. read more
