Came here for my birthday to get my feet done. I checked in and they took us to the back. I had never been there before. It was nice to be in a room alone. You do get complimentary drinks. Mine had something in it and no one came to change it. My nails look nice. read more

New management is great but few stragglers left. Old habits die hard and Nolie was my go to til she got so comfortable she decided she was gonna get her friend to do her own nails during my appointment and kept me waiting for 40 minutes. Appointment was confirmed texted when I was on my way and I arrived in time. No apologies , no parting gifts or discounts just acted as if it was normal. I did not tip and won't go back. read more

I've left 5 star reviews before for this salon because they are always so kind and thoughtful and I always tip in cash to whoever does my feet. Doan basically shamed me for not getting a pedicure and just getting a polish change. And literally pointed to other people getting pedicures and said "look at everyone else". She was rough with my feet and my feet look a mess honestly. May not be back because of her. read more

I tried this place as a quick option. I went here 5 years ago and wasn't treated nicely then. Today, I asked for a gel polish change. I didn't have time for the full pedicure. After he removed the polish, he noticed I had a hang nail and attended to it which I appreciated. However, he took it upon himself to begin picking further and then said with an attitude, "Next time, do a pedicure." Simply: Don't offer the service if that's not all the tech will be disgruntled about providing the service. The tech was very rude with in which he handled my feet for the remainder of the services. Fooled me twice, Shame on me. read more

The salon is beautiful. It's a little expensive, but worth it. I've only had one technician there, and I love her. Her name is Sophia and she's so stylish and beautiful. I love talking to her and she takes great pride in her work. Her massages on the pedicure are super strong, which I love. And she really listens and delivered excellent results on my acrylic set. this is a very large nail spa clean and beautiful inside. they are very regimented in how they all have little matching kits and steps in how they do the process. i had kim. she wanted to upsell me for the top of the line pedicure and also get a hold of my brows. thank you but NO. she flew thru the process. why bother getting a nice hot towel out for my legs if your only going to wave it above them for a second! same price as all the other places basically 80 for gel mani/regular pedi. they are not honoring the yelp check in savings they are advertising read more

LOVE LOVE LOVE CHRISTY!!! Went to her today for the first time for a fill and she did AMAZING. I just moved here from New Jersey not too long ago and had the same nail tech there forever. I've been to 3-4 people here in Greensboro and they all did a terrible job so i had lost hope. But today i decided to give it another chance and had the pleasure of having christy and she did AMAZING. I def recommend her. I'm super picky and she made my nails just how i like them from the shape to the length, she took her time which is VERY RARE to find these days. And i just loved everything about it. I was provided with good service. The young man who serviced my nails was good, polite, and pleasant. He did my nails well, and I am pleased. I rated them low as I dont like how they treated a woman of color. After making an appointment, she was advised that they were busy and couldn't service her. It was my daughter's birthday and we were in town with family. I wanted to find a spa that serviced children. Hollywood nails has its own kids spa room and it's soooo cute! We set my daughter and niece up for appointments. While we waiting my sister and I also decided to get pedicures. I'm extremely picky about salons, but happy to say I had a good experience. The salon is clean, the technicians are friendly and knowledgeable. The girls loved their time and have been back several times now. My only complaint as with a lot of nail salons...they don't set out the really good nail polish. Most of what's out is not appealing and it's old. You have to ask for the newer, vibrant colors. I took away a star for this. read more

Unfortunately this was a terrible experience. I am new to the area and was recommended by a coworker to try this salon. Not only do my nails look terrible and I need to get them redone but the man doing my nails brought over a bowl of water for me to put my hands in. I dipped my hands in and screamed and pulled my hands out. It burnt me so badly the water was boiling. I took a video to send to my mom of the water legitimately boiling. The man kept insisting I put my fingers in there saying "if it's not hot the powder will not come off". I refused to put them back in until it cooled off completely. I am extremely disappointed and will not return to this salon. read more

Well, this will be my last time. I have been a loyal client for a year but today's experience was so bad I'm done. First, the good. The pedi was good. Looks good, very hygenic. Great service and comfy chairs. Now the bad. My gel Mani. I was seated in a chair and my hands placed on used towel with someone else fingernails on it. I asked for a fresh towel and it was replaced. Mani was fine. The gel polish, however, had something wrong with it. My manicurist actually took the first coat of color off and indicated something was wrong with the polish. She then called over another tech who proceeded to scold her and then put four coats of obviously bad polish on me. There was no stopping him. I said it didn't look right and he barked at me to change hands. When I put my hand on the dryer, there was something sticky note it. He said put it in anyway since he was trying to fix my manicure. I said no, it's sticky in there. Finally the original nail tech changed out the tray and there was something sticky spilled in there. You can see the results of my already peeling, bubbling, and chipping Mani. This was taken in the parking lot after I exited. It was so bad they did not charge me for it. Also, they did offer to change colors, but I didn't want them touching me anymore and I didn't want my nails to go through the whole harsh removal process again since I have brittle nails. I have been coming here every other week for a year and this is how I'm treated. I was in tears. There are too many other nail salon options to continue here. read more

The pedicure I got was fine but super rushed. The same lady did my SNS nail set, Her name is Tammy. When I asked her to do curved french tip she told me she couldn't. (I could've done it myself) So instead I said just do them all white & she did that. My nails are lumpy and uneven on both hands. I have never been embarrassed by my nails after getting Them done but I definitely am. You can see the lumps from 3 ft away, They're crooked, the tips are cut in different directions, shapes & sizes, & very bulky. Anyone that has seen my nails has laughed and was so thrown back that a place that looks as reputable as this one does would do something like this. I paid for mine and my sisters mani pedis and it was over $200 for both of us; it wouldn't be a big deal if it was done right. I don't suggest anyone going there for anything. & if you do then especially don't let the woman named Tammy do anything for you. read more

So the interior of this place is AMAZING. It's huge and beautiful. It also did not smell like acetone too much. I would consider it a very enjoyable environment. We walked in for 3 pedicures with a little over an hour left before they closed, so this could very well explain the service we received. They told us to pick our colors and then showed us to the VIP Room in the back which had 4 chairs and a TV (if you're getting a pedicure for a special occasion with friends this is a great option. They also had a bunch of beverage choices. At this point, I am super hyped for this pedicure accept we have to wait over 15 minutes for anybody to come out water in the tubs. I even had to walk to the front and ask the receptionist when we could get somebody to come. I would highly encourage this business to make it standard procedure to run the water before they bring the client back and then they can soak their feet while they wait (and they can't as easily get up and leave when they've been waiting 15+ minutes). Honestly, I know we walked in so I get that it was busy, but having water to soak for a little bit and some acknowledgement or notice that it would be a little bit of a wait before we walked back would have been preferred. My friend was finished first and she pays by card before leaving the chair. She signs the receipts, shuts the little book, and hands it to the tech. On the tech's way out of the room she opens the book and tells the other two techs what she tipped. I am assuming here because I did not speak the language they spoke, so I could be very wrong and at the very least it felt odd that she looked at the receipt on front of us. Overall, it was a 2 star service and 5 star environment. I would revisit with making an appointment to confirm which it's more closer to. read more

I went to this place to get my SNS nails taken off and instead of soaking them they started clipping them off and using a fake nail to get under my SNS to pop them off. Both of my thumbs started bleeding but my right thumb was bleeding more and after the first time it bled the person working on my nails kept going and then he made both sides of my right thumb bleed. When he couldn't get the SNS off that is when he decided to soak my bleeding thumb in acetone. He gave me a three dollar discount for the nail removal but I am very disappointed and will not be returning. I'm not sure why he didn't just soak them off in the first place, I'm assuming he just wanted my nails off but he damaged my nails for a while in the process. I should've told him to soak them when he began clipping them off but I wasn't sure what the plan of action was until he refused to soak any of my nails until my thumb was bleeding very badly. Later on that night all of my nails were hurting physically probably from the SNS literally being ripped off of them. I would expect a nail salon to take care of my nails not damage them even more. I'm very disappointed and will not be returning or recommending anyone to go to Hollywood nails. read more

I have been having facials and especially microdermabrasions to manage my acne for 15+ years and relocating from NY, I needed to maintain all the progress I've made. I was bummed she did not do micros but what she did was better, she talked me through what she was doing/it's purpose. We discussed products used in the past, from recommendations from my previous aestheticians and what worked, I was impressed that she knew all of them, had used some and now created her own line. I slowly switched over to her line, product by product trying one out for a month and then adding another. But oh my that Mandelic serum!!! In the summer after using a washcloth on my face (as a gentle exfoliation) I put it in and boom instant glowy beautiful skin! No good morning, is your water too hot, would you like a bottle of water, she was on her phone for 95% of my service. The pedicure was good, I only wanted the basic as I was running short on time. After my pedicure she brought over a water bowl for my nails. I'm thinking to myself are we not moving to a nail station??? No! She proceeded to do my manicure at the pedicure chair. I became VERY annoyed and felt it would be better for all if I stayed quiet. This was so uncomfortable as I have back issues and instead of her walking from one side to the other, I'm having to twist. I noticed my polish chipping and flaking off the next day!!! WTH! I don't know if it's the products or what but I have never had that happen before. I may or my not return to this salon, I definitely would not let that particular lady service me again. I should have simply taken my nail polish with me on vacation and did my own nails!
