My absolutely favorite nail salon on the peninsula. I rolled in a few months ago to get my nails done for my engagement shoot, literally the morning of, even though I'd never been before. They did an AMAZING job - the perfect nail shape, beautiful design, really friendly techs. I have been going back for wedding nail practice/trials and have loved every single one they have done. All of the techs are super talented. The salon is on the smaller side - 4 or 5 pedicures chairs and nail stations, but the space is perfect. They have incredibly fair pricing - especially for the quality. Whenever I go it is very clear that they have a ton of regulars and take the time to know their people. I found Nina on a lucky whim when I moved to Monterey County almost 4 years ago and have followed her since! Very happy she and Lam decided to open their own shop! Service is always great, I definitely recommend an appointment, especially on the weekends. Customer Service is also great, its a relaxed cozy environment. Many of us joke and openly laugh with Nina and Lam. I have had a Pedi from all of them and they are all through and detailed. Nina normally does my nails and no compliants. Very happy with my experience. I came here for the first time today and it was great. The environment was nice quiet and clean. But mainly Susie and Angie are what made this experience nice. One worked on my mani while the other worked on my pedi both turned out so nice and I loved that both of them paid attention to detail! Let me just start by saying that I have had some of my best nails done here. For one, I have never felt pressured to get something I didn't want or been upsold, which I really appreciate. Secondly, the quality and care that went into my acrylic gel nails means I've been able to wear the same set of acrylics and get fills only for over three months with my natural nails still very healthy underneath. This also means I've saved a lot of money and wear/tear on my natural nails. Also, the staff here is very up front regarding what they can or can't do, so you know exactly what to expect and they never want to send you away with nails you are unhappy with. Where do I even start? If I could give it half a star I would. First of all they sat me down, then they worked on other customers and cleaned their store. When I posted about the dirty towel the young girl comes up to me IN THE MIDDLE OF MY PEDICURE and goes "can you take down your yelp review its not dirty its just nail polish" Missed or late to your appointment? Don't worry! They'll blow up your phone with phone calls until you answer and explain When I tried to explain that to a paying customer you give me a dirty towel her response was that they "wash them and its not dirty." But I as a paying customer sit down with no explanation get a towel with brown stuff on it? And then am asked to be silenced because its bad for business? They then at the end of my appointment started someone else's pedicure with no gloves and just left mine. Finding your go to nail shop is always hard when you are new to an area. I've tried out several shops and this has been my favorite so far. I called to make an appt and luckily I was able to get my nails done the same day. When I arrived the wait was short, however, I was not greeted for a few mins which was quite awkward. My nail technician was gentle but wasn't afraid to get in there and get all my cuticles removed. I was concerned about my thumb nail because it was splitting. A thin layer of acrylic was applied on top of this nail to protect it. The massage at the end was relaxing and such a nice way to end my manicure. I got the gel manicure which ran me $35 before tip. Not the cheapest shop I've been to, however, not the most expensive. My biggest gripe about this shop is that there are no prices listed online, or on display inside of the salon which I'm not a fan of. read more

I hate when I get gel polish and my nails look all thick from so many coats. I wanted a natural shade this time and it came out great. Overall, just ok. I called ahead and scheduled a manicure and pedicure. It's a smaller salon with only 4 pedicure stations and 3 manicure seats. Good customer service, workers are more on the quiet side which I like. They have hot tea and water for customers. They don't offer packages for nails such as a deluxe pedicure (hot stones, foot mud mask, hot wax, etc). It's a basic pedicure which unfortunately means not being able to peel my dead skin and smooth out my rough, cracked heels. Decent color selection. My manicure was good but I didn't get any technical designs or anything. I'll probably try another spot out but come here as a last resort or emergency. read more
