1 Star (would give 0 if possible) I brought in my brand-new jacket for a simple dry clean, and it came back dirtier than when I dropped it off. There were hairs all over it -- not mine -- and a loose thread that wasn't there before. When I asked about it, the woman at the front argued with me and said the hair must have been from "other items in the machine," which honestly makes the situation even worse. If I'm paying for a cleaning service, my clothing should come back clean, not covered in someone else's hair and with new damage. The lack of accountability and unprofessional attitude made the whole experience even more frustrating. I will not be returning. Save yourself the hassle and go somewhere that actually respects your clothes and your time. read more

Do NOT go here. They will take your money to "fix your item" and then when you come the day your ticket states it should be ready by, they tell you they can't fix it. I had to berate them to get a refund. Why tell a customer you can fix a clothing item & take their money just to lie? So unprofessional! If you're a Nordstroms member, I suggest going to the rack at the plaza and they are more than willing to fix items there! I brought my daughter's mid winter dress to get hemmed. I went on a Wednesday and needed it done by Friday. Haseena did an excellent job and it was ready by Friday morning. This is the second time I have brought a dress here to be fixed and they do an amazing job!! I also brought in a sports jersey to be sewed and she did an excellent job on that too. They threatened to withhold my dress, which could easily be considered theft in possession, after I questioned why my total suddenly jumped from the original $65 quote to $150 for a tiny alteration. When I asked for clarification, Mary was rude, dismissive, and provided false information about their pricing. Totally unprofessional and dishonest. The first review was supposed to be only on my cellphone. I am still in the process of clearing the misunderstanding with the owner. Correction: I just cleared this misunderstanding with Kay. Kay is the lady who took in the jacket. She told me that she said it is free - by mistake. ( Oh, no ! ) Haseena is the one who altered the sleeves. She is the one I spoke to over the phone. She did offer me not to pay if I am not happy with the alteration. Well, I still want to pay since she did it already. What I did not appreciate is the one on the picture. The inner lining of the jacket, with strings sticking out. As a customer, my expectation is that she would have called me or left a note saying that that is how it will look like. Do you still want it done ? I will also appreciate if the strings were trimmed. I tried to explain it to Kay that the review is not supposed to be uploaded yet, until I speak to her or her mom. I have experienced really poor service, a terrible job on alterations, and the epitome of unprofessional behavior in my interaction with the employees here. I wouldn't ever go HERE FOR ALTERATIONS. THEY'VE HARASSED ME IN VARIOUS ATTEMPTS TO GET THE REVIEW REMOVED. I brought in a total of 6 pants to get dry cleaned, and I wanted 4 of them altered slightly. In the alterations I received back, they've totally messed with the entire integrity of the pants I had brought in. And after spending $165 on getting 4 pants altered here, i feel that all 4 look like I went to the flea market to shop. I brought in pants from Nine West, Zara, and Wilfred which were altered by someone I never even got to meet with in person named Sofia (who apparently doesn't come in?) and she's made a mess of my pants and gave them back looking nothing like what I had addressed and discussed with the lady at the front desk. When I went back for the first time, I was excited (even tho I was spending so so much to get only 4 pants altered) however, I was given my pants without any pleats in them, after I had specifically told her I like my work pants pleated. (Isn't that a given at a dry cleaners any way???) but once I got the pants ironed correctly I noticed why they were not originally given back to me with pleats because when altering them, they messed with the front waistline and attached the center pleat to the side pockets. When I tried to tell them, they said they wouldn't do that - but I spent so much time doing my research after this and I was not able to find any pants available for purchase with pleats coming out the pockets so I don't see how what they insisted was even possible. I definitely didn't bring them in like that and it shows through the various strings and seems that are altered. The whole tag of my pant is somehow missing. Then they refused to fix my brand new pants, which honestly they cut up so much that they don't look like any pant I own (to the point where they have me drive back home to bring the same exact pant back to them, because I had two of them, and they're telling me it's not the same because one is obviously older duhhh but also because it LOOKS NOTHING LIKE WHAT THEY WORKED ON.) to the point where my entire tag is missing u can't even tell it's from the same store.... It was so ridiculous to stand there as they told me that I brought them the pants like that. There is absolutely nothing on the market that comes like that. Absurd. And then they started threatening me saying they were going to call my dad like I'm sorry but what does that do, will u finally acknowledge the mistake then? I'm just really sad that after a month of back and forth I have spent $165, and have no nice pants to thank for it. Like all of them were better off not being touched at all by them. Now I'm out the pants and the money, and these people were so so rude to me. Blatantly telling me I'm wrong even though the pictures speak for themselves. I hate writing reviews but I am now going to encourage it for all dry cleaning services bc it's important to know the level of work you're going to get back. I'm assuming people have had horrible experiences since the ones on here written 4 years ago, but haven't posted. And hey if you like this level/style of work as seen in my attached pictures... more power to u. I expected the team to have expertise in the shape of classic wardrobe pieces such as TROUSERS, however I was left completely disappointed and felt that they did not treat me or my items with respect. The level of workmanship is below average on all the pants, especially for the price. All the seams they've worked on have been problematic in more ways than one, I would be here all day if I showed you the other 3 pants not pictured. Also. They still have both pairs of the Zara pants (pictured) I brought in today so they can ask miss Sofia what is going on. Will update on one week as to what I receive back. EDIT: DO NOT LISTEN TO THE POSITIVE REVIEWS ONLY, they harass their customers to get bad reviews removed!!! Yikes, would not recommend the tailoring here. Got a shirt hemmed and it's crooked, thread is sticking out, and you can see where it was originally sewn so now there's holes. Also, the choice of color for the thread wasn't even close to the original. read more

Racial profiling at its best!I brought a few coats in a couple of weeks ago I asked for price a few times as she changed her price a few times but at the end gave me a specific price. I walked in today to grab my coats and was getting charged 25$ more when I asked why the employee rudely said because the other employee gave me the incorrect price. I specifically asked them 3x when I walked in for the price. The money wasn't the issue it was the treatment. After I payed she asked if I knew English I said of course she then asked "properly"I have a Bachelors in science and think it was beyond disrespectful and distasteful for those comments to be thrown why because they got the price wrong and I was speaking Spanish to my daughter previously. All of my white shirts came back stained. I just moved to the area and have tried them out several times. I normally drop off big loads as I wear a suit or uniform every day. The first two loads were great; however, the last pick up was terrible. My dress shirts cost about $100 each and now I have to wash them at home with bleach to get the stains out that were not there when I dropped off my shirts. These shirts were perfect when I dropped them off. Also, it appears they tried to rub something out of one of my shirts and rubbed so hard they rubbed through the material. Unfortunately I will not be going back to this cleaners! VERY ANGRY AND DISAPPOINTED!!! I had taken some BRAND NEW pants still with the tag attached , to get tailored because they were way too long on me. One of the ladies there fitted them and I made sure to tell her how much I wanted cut. The first time I went to pick them up I didn't think of trying them on there so I took them home and tried them on the following day, they were still WAY too long almost seemed like they hadn't cut anything. So I went back and told them they weren't what we had measured. A different lady did her measurements that second time I took them and explained to her what happened. She tried to accommodate me to having them ready that same day since that's the day I wanted to wear them. I go back almost 2 hours later and I try them on there at the cleaners and they were cut WAY TO SHORT THAT THEY WHENT WAY ABOUVE MY ANKLE BONE!!!! ( they are not meant to go that short ) I was very upset and told the owner what was going on , she promised she could fix it so I left home and returned again to pick them up! She added back the piece she had cut off And let me say they looked HORRIBLE!!!!! Waste of my time! Waste of gas! And now I can't re purchase a new pair of the same pants because they're all sold out and they don't restock!!!! read more

I don't use a drycleaner regularly any more. Covid and Zoom pretty much eliminated any need I had for pressed suits and shirts, much the way the long bow made suits of plate mail obsolete. But, as the father of the groom, I had the need for no less than three suits in one week. The practical, foresighted part of me bought those suits well in advance, and had them tailored where I bought them. Then I went and lost 25 pounds, and the irresponsible, procrastinating part of myself didn't think to try on those suits until a couple days before the big events. I was swimming in them like Peter Dinklage in a King Sized bad. Fortunately, this little cleaner down the street was up to the task. Next-day service on tailoring? In the age of Amazon, that might not seem amazing, but let me assure you, the workmanship and quality must have meant a very late night for the tailor, for which my procrastinating irresponsible self apologizes. All three celebrations around the wedding were magical, joyous, and fun. And I looked damned good at all three thanks to Vanwood Cleaners. They're super nice there, too.
