march 28, 2026 -- buyer beware!!! alpine heat pumps does not stand behind the products they sell…read more 18 months after purchase, major components failure of the compressor and inverter pcb board. best they could do was, we could get out there in maybe 2 weeks, why don't you try calling.....maybe they can help. alpine's representative had the nerve after it was diagnosed by another company as a known c464 failure problem with samsung to say, "well every now and then you get a bad one, but the parts are covered!" 18 months and a major failure, and we're supposed to come up with another $1,500 to $2,000 for labor and freon. so, they don't service what they sell, moreover, don't stand behind the product they recommended. not to mention that as part of mass save had to have our furnace disconnected and we are stll without heat (april 7) in half the house...tonights low expected to be 25 degrees! going on a week and half of 50% heat, not expected to maybe be repaired on the 14th. they were responsive in taking my $28,000 for the system, and now they will not respond! poor customer service! they take your money and move on! shop elsewhere, and go with company that actually services what they sell and stands behind the products they sell. oh, and they no longer sell samsung....no suprise. only 1 star, because can't give zero.

Additionally Jason(Alpine) charged me for four(4) mini-splits and I only recieved three(3) and one(1) condenser. Beware - Unethical business practices…read more When I was a new resident to Lee I called several propane providers - I'm a seasonal propane consumer and use roughly 200 gallons over 8 months My tanks are are owned not leased I was impressed with the friendly and knowledgeable sales associate and chose to go with Osterman Over about 2 years Osterman increased their price per gallon until it was more than 2x the original pricing - while pricing increases are expected, Osterman prices did not track with local competition and other Propane companies were routinely 1/2 the price of Osterman I have two tanks in series and they informed me that because one tank was empty each fill they would need to conduct a "leak check" after every tank filling, and charged me and additional $200 (no leak was ever found, of course) Next I received a Minimum Usage invoice for $285 as other reviewers have mentioned with accruing interest By this time I was done with these crooks, so I called and told them to cancel all services and delete my account - the customer service rep was highly argumentative and told me I couldn't cancel because their records indicate my tanks are their property - WHAT! I asked for her to generate proof of her assertion and she said I'd receive a call back 1 month passed with no callback - so I called again and asked for proof of the above, to which she replied, "yeah, it shows here these are our tanks". When I asked again for the evidence, she could not provide any I asked for a specific callback from a person who could have a civil conversation an interest to resolve this instead shuffling papers and dismissing me - I was told this would not be possible Then Osterman sent an additional Minimum Usage invoice - still no response from Osterman Meanwhile I switched to a new provider who charges about 1/2 Osterman price per gallon - no leak check each fill, no minimum Usage fee Good riddance losers

Fast forward to November 4. The generator didn't star. When I called Gable they sent Tony. Soon to replace Joe. Not generator Joe another Joe. Generator Joe is "Old Joe". Tony looked at the generator mane it sounds like explosions several times, told me he didn't know much about generators he would send "Old Joe". I didn't hear from anyone and called a few days later. Woman said she would check and call back. She didn't call but later Tony called, said the generator couldn't be fixed. There were no parts available because my generator was too old. This was a lie. I called another that fixed the generator. The spark plug was the problem. Tony also told me I had to service the generator when it was only serviced in March. When Tony left he left the generator on so that later that night when we lost power it made those explosion sounds 7 or 8 times. The neighborhood was in an uproar. I never had such an incompetent worker in my presence. Terrible.
