I normally don't leave reviews, but this experience has been extremely frustrating. This is for the shop at this location which I believe now goes by(Texas hill country vape and smoke shop) First, I want to say that the regular staff at this location have always been kind and helpful. Unfortunately, the return/management experience has been the exact opposite. About three weeks ago we purchased a Puffco Peak Pro from this store. When we got home, we realized the device wasn't charging properly. We called the store and were told to bring it back so they could test it to confirm the device was defective. We brought the device in and left it with them. After that, communication completely broke down. We waited for an update and received no call. When we followed up by phone, we were told we would receive a call back, which never happened. Eventually we went to the store in person to check on the situation, and we were told the device had been moved to another store and that we needed to go there to speak with a manager. After driving to the other location and waiting over an hour to speak with the manager, we were told there were two options: we could process the return ourselves through Puffco, or the store could handle it for us. Since this had already been dragging on for several days, we chose to have the store handle the return. That turned out to be a mistake. It has now been over two and a half weeks, and when we called again for an update, we were told that the return process apparently had not even been started. We have now been promised a callback three separate times, and no one from management has followed up. Again, the regular employees have been polite and helpful, but the lack of follow-through and communication from management has made this one of the worst customer service experiences I've had. At this point we simply want the issue resolved and some accountability from management. I have bad experiences all the time, but I usually forget about it. I definitely don't find myself writing reviews very often, BUT.. frankly this is some BS. I bought a Shiv from them for $100, by the way it's $75 online, save your money. I came back within 2 days because it was having atomizer issues and the inside track occasionally comes lose out and basically, you have throw the battery forward and back to get it back in the track with inertia. I was told the day I walked back in that they didn't have anymore at this location, but would be happy to get one from their other store and give me a call. I never get a call, so I came back after another few days, this time they wanted to keep my battery overnight to 'test' it. Mind you, this is after already being told they would replace it. They apparently can't find anything wrong when they supposedly 'test' it but as soon as I walked in the 2nd time and reminded them why I was there, the guy working immediately called the owner as if they were expecting me and they proceed to make multiple terrible excuses. Like "it needs to be cleaned", I had it 1 day before these issues started and the inside track coming lose has nothing to do with that. They also said the "carts are too big", they sold me the cart and battery at the same time and said it would be fine, which it should be because the carts are not too big for the battery, that's not how that works. It's the same size cart as literally every other cart, honestly the worst excuse I've ever heard, especially since this is supposed to be their job, you'd think they could come up of something better. They even let me try the shiv on display and the cart they put in it to let me try was the exact same one I currently have. They said they'd replace it if it was broken, of course according to them there's nothing wrong with it, because they're more worried about $25 than keeping a customer that spends almost $200 a week there. All 3 of my roommates also shop there and they also saw the issues it had, so now this place has 4 less customers. I encourage everyone to shop elsewhere if you want to give your money to people that are honest and respectable. They lied to my face about this 4 times and treated me like an idiot. It makes absolutely no sense to bring a product back and ask you to exchange it for the same product, if there's not actually anything wrong with the product. Why? Because that's a waste of time and nobody does that. read more
