Damage of a jump suite and the owner takes no responsibility in the damages with the chemicals he use, he says it had a stain on the knee if you don't think you can clean a item than you should inform the customer so they can decide if they want you to clean it or not but for you it's just about taking the persons money. I used to come here all time. I had a pickup every week. I had a great relationship with everyone who worked here. It was, and possibly still is for others, the ideal budget dry cleaner. My mistake was using this facility as something more than a budget option. After being a long time customer, I came up in the world a little and I treated myself to a $200 shirt (one of only two in America and brought in from New York by the Scottsdale boutique). This wasn't just brands for names sake, this wasn't just a blouse, it was a button on body paint job bespoke looking dapper jaw dropper. The first time I cleaned the expensive shirt here it came back a little burnt on the collar edges but I didn't mind and was used to them burning my other clothes. They had burned some other shirt collars and lapels on an Italian suit jacket a little, but only noticeable on inspection so I always let it fly. The second time I wore the shirt I took it in for cleaning even though I barely wore it nor made any mess on it. I wanted my special treat to myself to be perfect for as long as possible so I took it to the cleaners. I wanted no wrinkles, cleanliness and sharp edges to represent me when I donned this piece. This shirt fit like a glove and was a symbol of hard work paying off. At this time the store was under heavy remodel. They were getting a brand new machine but that new machine wasn't hooked up yet. I was happy for my favorite cleaner to come up in the world with this new equipment. I picked up the shirt after the second cleaning and it had a white stain in a most prominent spot of the shirt. This stain looked exactly like the kind of mineral stain from a dirty iron. The cleaners were great and cleaned it twice to remove the stain but nothing could help get rid of that stain. After two tries Eddie asked emptily "what do you want me to do?" Remember I had an excellent relationship here. Prior to this we were gracious and social with eachother. My ideal scenario is that they would have taken my shirt and bought me another. I know they aren't a clothes store, I am no fool. So my lowest number to be totally satisfied, no grudges or anything was $50. (Remember, dear reader, I spent money here every single week and they probably would have got it back in no time). At this Eddie scoffed and sighed and huffed and shrugged. He gave me a long talk about how it's not his fault and even went in to theories about latent fabric contaminations at the textile mills. Bad fabric? We both gave it an honest contemplation and in all likelihood that would have came up in the first clean. This number, $50, would do nothing for me in reality. I would probably would have sold the old shirt at a loss, used the damage and sale money plus more of mine to buy the last shirt in America if I was lucky. So being that we were friends and both reasonable fellows Eddie decided to meet me half way - half way. $25 - in store credit. Ok reality check time for me I guess. I spent money here all the time. If I got a store credit it's pretty much the same as cash since that was my place, those were my cleaning folks, that was my guy. $25 was a slap in the face and I already knew Eddie's logic before he told me. I will relay to you what he said to me. As previously stated it is definitely not his fault, probably not mine, so that just leaves the shirt and the people who made it. I called the maker and they couldn't even take my call seriously and told me to take it up with the cleaner. These top tier brands don't have these quality issues, guys, let's be real here. Eddie would not do $50 store credit - It wasn't his fault - To him it was simply to please his friend that he would offer $25 because he did nothing wrong and he's giving cleaning away for free for no reason. I graciously accepted the $25 credit and never ever used it. I never returned. So what's the lesson? It's a cheap little small business. Don't bring anything here you will miss if destroyed because they either don't have insurance or won't use insurance. I haven't been back since then. Maybe things are better with the new machine. But you know what, machines wear out and fail and get dirty and that's when you need a person to help you out. I had a good personal relationship here but they just aren't equipped philosophically equipped to handle premium garments. I probably could still recommend them for jobs like replaceable chain store items, like $25 H&M pieces. They have a relatively new machine and until I pressed them on their quality issues we had that very amicable relationship. Other lessons learned? Don't be such a cheap skate. Seriously, if it's a $200 shirt, would it hurt to invest more than 1% of it's value to retain 100% of it's condition? Go to cleaners who take pride in their work and would rather have a customer for life than $50 and maybe have some kind of legit insurance policy that they use. Ask questions in advance. Terrible service, terrible attitudes... would NEVER recommend using these guys. The owner came out and yelled at his employee in front me because I asked her why there were extra creases on my shirt and she answered "I don't know". They re-did all 6 pieces that I dropped off because they had lint all over them and creases in areas that weren't wrinkled or creased before. When I went to pick those same items up, the owner tells me "We're a discount cleaners so we don't offer the service that you're looking for" then says "maybe you should take your clothes to another place". Basically told me that they do a half-ass job and if I expect to get good service to go somewhere else! GREAT BUSINESS OWNER! You're not going to last too long my friend. We just dropped of our cruise clothes off and they were ready the next day. Very quick turn around and very reasonable prices.

I have lived in the neighborhood for nearly a decade. The service is timely and extremely courteous. Having taken my clothes to other nearby dry cleaners I know that they are less expensive, too. With all due respect to Joe F., I would suggest that his experience is an anomalous outlier. I have gone to Vardan Brothers for years and have never had anything to say but "thanks" for the inexpensive, timely, and courteous service. I give them 5-stars! read more

This cleaners is the worst cleaners ever. They lost (stole) two pair of my expensive jeans and had the nerve to offer me $25. When I came to pick up my order they tried to say they miscounted in the beginning, but I know what I brought in to be cleaned. The owner is very rude and thinks its ok to lose your clothes even after you paid for their service. My opinion go to TIDE cleaners or somewhere else who cares about their customers and also the type of service they give. RUN AWAY from the one on Warner in Ahwatukee!!! read more

Hands down the best dry cleaner I've been to in the East Valley. You can always tell how good a dry cleaner is by how many clothes they have on their racks. I've been going here for about 10 years now and I haven't had any issues with something not being ready on time, lost, or damaged. I moved to Scottsdale for a year and still drove all the way here for all of my dry cleaning. Great prices! I wish I could give more than 5 stars! read more

I went to this place once and will NEVER go back. I live nearby and like to support local businesses, but they did such a horrible job ironing my shirts that they'll have to be re-done (somewhere else) before I can wear them. I can't believe someone in this business could make such a mess of a customer's shirt and then just think "Oh well!", put it on a hanger, and go on to the next one. And that's not even the worst part. They *wrote* inside all my clothes with what appears to be *permanent marker*. I guess that's their way of keeping track of stuff, but none of the other cleaners I've been to have ever *written* on my clothes in permanent marker, so I assume there are other ways of keeping track of people's stuff. They also charge extra to pay with a credit or debit card, even when paying for a large order. There's a cleaners in practically every shopping center around here, so I know I can do better. read more

On 7/6/16 we dropped off 12 items for dry cleaning at Vardhan's cleaners on Warner road in Phoenix. We have been good customers for years. Upon opening the plastic bag we noticed 5 of the tommy Bahamas shirts had paper tags saying the garment was ruined. I called and said why didn't you say something when we picked up the order about so many damaged shirts, he said that happens all the time so it's normal. So I returned with 3 of the items showing them to them and explaining we would like them to fix or reimburse. He tried to say we brought them in like that. I said no we didn't and he offered to reclean the areas that appeared to be ruined by dry cleaning chemicals. I came in a couple times to be told he was still working on them, called a couple times and was told still working on them and has ordered special chemicals to fix. Still not completed weeks later. Called and called no return phone calls. Finally I threatened to complain on BBB, 3 on your side, Yelp and wanted to be reimbursed. Still no phone call. This week I was told they had been ready the whole time. When we went to pick them up they were in the exact same condition and had tags back on them. We left them and told them we wanted money to buy new shirts. The owner finally called me and said he hadn't been there for weeks as he was moving his girlfriend, he told me not to tell him how to run his business. I told him I would like to be reimbursed he told me no that we brought them in like that. I told hi, we had been great customers for years and he would be losing so much more without us as customers than replacing the cost of the 3 shirts, he told me he didn't care. WOW! Unbelievable! When he was willing to fix his mistake. I would never recommend this business they have horrible customer service and can't be held accountable! read more
