I came here for a takeout order because I have been searching for a local spot that served Pho. The pho broth was a little off and the serving size did not match the price of the product. I also ordered their sushi roll that was 19$ and it was half a roll. Food was decent but in my opinion not worth $40 based on taste and serving size. Decided to try this place while visiting family in NC, as I saw some great reviews on it! Let me say, it definitely delivered! As we walked in, the restaurant was super clean and had a great atmosphere. We were instantly seated and taken care of right away. I got the Beef Pad See Ew (one of my favorites at any Thai restaurant), and a Thai Iced Tea for the drink. The food came super quickly and was steaming hot. Everything was absolutely delicious and flavorful, and was an amazing experience! Our waitress was also extremely nice and the service was phenomenal. This place was a gem of a place. It seemed like a family owned restaurant with the patriarch heading the place. I had one of the best spring rolls with lettuce, carrots, Thai basil, mint & shrimp wrapped with rice paper accompanied by garlic dipping sauce. I also had a deconstructed sushi with so much raw fish I was amazed. My son & husband had chicken fried rice with chili sauce. They also had cheese cake & coconut ice cream ( it could have come with sweet sticky rice but he didn't want it). The service was excellent with the waitstaff keeping a careful eye on you. I was very surprised when I found this place in Wilson, NC (a small town). Ordered: chicken pad see ew, pork belly bun, mango sticky rice, Thai tea. The pad see ew was nicely seasoned and had good flavor. Only downside - the eggs were cooked weird (not sure how to describe) Pork belly bun was to die for except it was overly sauced. It would have been perfect had they used half the sauce and or served it on the side. The menu said you get two buns but really it's one bun cut in half . I was kinda disappointed about the portion served for the price. Mango sticky rice was good. Similar to others I've had. Thai tea was made well. But this restaurant was a great little find and the food is delicious. I saw the other reviews and as far is the prices they were not that expensive. I've been to different places so I have quite a standard for it and maybe that was my mistake I should've tried something a little more different. I was just craving that at the moment. Would I try it again? Yes, but maybe during lunchtime because truthfully for dinner it was a little overpriced for me. Me and my boyfriend came here tonight, I got three sushi rolls and he got the spicy chicken ramen and it was all very delicious! I love the vibe of this place, the classy jazz music and the cleanliness of the restaurant was great. This is hands down one of the best restaurants in Wilson. Admittedly, I've only ever had the cashew chicken since I'm allergic to seafood and there aren't many other options to choose from that are safe for me to eat, but they knock that one out of the park. Tons of flavor, nice large portions, and fresh ingredients. They like spice here but will cater to your tastes as best as they can. The service is always super attentive and they take pride in what they serve. It's a little spendy but it's worth it. It's always really clean also; no greasy tables or dirty floors. Decided to try this place out while in Wilson for a work trip and I was pleasantly surprised to find this little place at the end of a strip mall. My waitress was super nice and attentive and everything came out quickly. I started out with the Thai Orchid which was delicious and I loved the color of it. I started with the shrimp spring rolls which were fresh. I then had two of the specialty rolls which came out much larger than expected. They were delicious though and it was probably the spiciest spicy mayo I've had on a sushi roll. Even though I was so full I had to try the seasonal Thai sticky rice and mango. I have so become that person that enjoys fruit for dessert but my goodness it was delicious. The rice was warm with just a hint of sweetness and the mango was ripe and fresh. Wow, this place is great. I am not Asian, so I cannot speak to the authenticity of the dishes, but they sure seem to be a lot, lot, lot better than the other local options.
