The doctor must not have been in a not so good mood and yelled at my daughter and called me into her private office, and continue to scold me... Long story short it was quite an intense experience. I left there with my daughter (quite traumatized) not finishing treatment. I found Prairieview orthodontics, and wow! Its night and day difference in service! Not only does Dr. John and his team welcome questions they take the time no matter how long, even if it set them behind with other appointments, to answer any questions and concerns, and they really went above and beyond finishing off my daughters treatment, leaving her with an absolutely stunning smile. I have to say she was quite scared and timid, going to any doctor after our past experience. But Dr. John is just so good with kids gets on their level super friendly, very reassuring, answered any of her questions even during adjustments was very kind and gentle to her. Unlike the other orthodontist, who burned her nose, chipped her tooth, scratched her and yelled at her for breaking brackets, etc. Dr. John and his team are so friendly and definitely go the extra mile. We love the experience so much here at Prairie view. They have many locations in the area with super flexible scheduling, other orthodontist offices, actually charge more if you need an after school appointment versus during the day... Prairie view does not do that to schedule appointments around your schedule for no added cost!the team is so friendly and customer oriented- its really been a night and day experience! I am not as brave as my son, and am quite a baby when it comes to the dentist. For the x-rays that the tech started with, they had the news on the TV that is in the room. A very nice touch, and great for someone to focus on when they have a bad gag reflex (ugh). Then I got to see Dr. Rathi. She's so sweet and also very informative. I had a lot of tartar, so she had to numb me and do a deep cleaning, root cleaning, and scaling. I don't know what much of that means, but it meant I had to get numbed. Anyways. I hardly even felt the numbing needles, and even during the cleaning she asked me several times if I was ok, or if I felt any pain. NONE. It was great. Even if I was shaking, because I'm a huge baby. Her entire staff is amazing, and I am making my husband switch over to their office. They are very high tech, and I feel Dr. Rathi is on her game with the latest techniques and technology.
