Fraudulent business practices. Dishonest. I came in for a vase after browsing his website, and found the item I was looking for in the store. I asked him why he said the price for the vase was $18.00 when it was $12.00 in the store for the exact item. He said it was because it was of a different quality, from China. And that it was SOLD OUT. Fine. I told him I would order the $12.00 vases online. He said that wouldn't be possible, that it would take over 2 months to get that item. As I walked into the next store, moments later, I refreshed his webpage and HE CHANGED THE PRICE OF THE VASE TO $18.00.

Friendly staff and the girl working was very nice to help me carry my wagon of flowers inside the store so I can buy vases for my floral arrangements that I was making for my girlfriend bday. They have cure marble vases making my arrangements look chic. I was too lazy to bargain early in the morning. The pricing are not bad either but I'm sure you can get more off if you buy a lot.

This store is right in the Los Angeles Downtown Flower Market! Buy some flowers and select a custom vase to make a do-it-yourself arrangement. Very good value! They have the most popular products and vases everyone is hunting after! They even have those really cool glass terrariums so you can make your own table-top succulent garden. They always have some great ideas on display so you can even make DIY centerpiece for wedding, baby shower or sweet sixteen party. They have many LED light options you can add to floral arrangements. Really great family run business. Definitely recommend this to friends so they don't get ripped off by flower companies on Valentine's day and Mother's Day.

Was recommended this place by my wedding planner for all the vases for our upcoming wedding and they had just what we needed! Adrineh was extremely helpful and made sure we got everything we needed! They even let us pay and return to pick up the vases so we didn't have to hold them all day! Highly recommend! read more

I went here yesterday with my fiance hoping to find some wedding vases. After reading the positive reviews in yelp, we gave this store a try. The store itself was small, it had some displays of vases. They were helpful because we wanted to see how the vases would look with flowers. We approached the salesperson for help to find our vases. I came up to him and asked if he had a mercury compote glass available. He gave us an angry look. I am guessing he was upset that I came up to him while he was enjoying his lunch and was talking with his friend. I showed him the picture and asked if he had it in stock. He looked at my picture and said I don't know and turned away and continued talking to his friend like we didn't exist. We thought that was extremely rude of him. Great selection and great service here. Came down to the flower mart area looking for vases and happened to find this shop on the corner of 8th and Wall St. So glad we did! Adrineh and the others were incredibly helpful. Their prices are better than the vase vendors inside the flower mart buildings so we saved $$ too for great quality glass vases. I bought the center pieces for our event from Vases By Robert 3 weeks and can't say how impressed I was again! It wasn't my first time doing business with them and besides the best prices, their warm and friendly also honest costumer service is what brings me back each time. I have recommended them to all my family, friends and coworkers and will be back soon! They sold defective candle holders to me and refused to exchange them for me. All 300 of them!!! The lady there told me that because it's glass, it isn't going to be perfect. She charged me $3.75 each. I had to add ribbons to the edges to hide the flaws. Buyer beware. Make sure you check all your items before leaving!! read more

The flowers were beautiful, costs were just a fraction of what it would cost to have a florist procure them and put them together. We had no idea, as to "our" budget, except it was given to us our wedding gift. My paternal aunt purchased, all of our wedding flowers here and placed together by family, with love. We were there, bright and early and got best quality flowers. It was day or two, before they would be used. They must be preserved, freshly and kept them inside my bathroom, in dark, cold room & cranked up AC. All of it was placed in bathtub for hydration.

First the website mentions parking on the roof and we could not find this parking. There was an area blocked off, but it didn't say full. It was just blocked off and the only reason I suspect that was their parking lot is because the exit was still open. So I had to pay for $10 across the street. Yes we could have found street parking further away, but I was already frustrated not having found their lot and my partner was just like I'll just pay. Let's just go across the street. Next even though it is mentioned on the website (I don't remember seeing it despite looking at the website multiple times) and there was a $2 entrance fee. what am I paying $2 for? Why am I paying $2 to shop and spend more money? I'm sorry just on the way there as we got closer, there are so many flower shops around the mart so I don't see why you wouldn't just go to one of those and get your flowers without having to pay an additional fee. So now, we are already $14 out-of-pocket and we havent done anything but try to park and step inside. We get inside we look around and I honestly did not find the prices to be that different from a farmers market perhaps a slightly bigger bouquet, or a couple of dollars cheaper, but there was nothing that was like ooh, this is a great deal. We ended up buying a large bouquet of lilies for $25. There is a stall in the back that had what I would consider actually good price prices. Five stems for $10 and a big bushel of another kind of flower for $6. We got those as well. My partner also really liked the plant guy and bought a plant from him from $20. Now here is where I really will not be back. I stopped at a stall called Choice America. I saw a really pretty set of mum's and asked how much they were & was told $10. The guy helping me then confirmed that they were $10 with somebody else. He then went on to say that one with eight stems was a higher price that I don't remember because I knew I wasn't getting that.When I got to the counter to actually pay, the woman was going back-and-forth with another customer about some order. They both seemed equally frustrated. Why is this important?.. because when it was my time to pay she said $10. I handed her a $20 bill. She opens the register and pulls out a five and some ones throws up her hands. I deduced that already being frustrated this is just one more thing on top as she doesnt have enough change to give me and instead turns to me and says $12.50. I kind of stumble and I say for what... tax or something? and she goes yeah tax clearly lying! Even if they did charge tax, which no other stall did, sales tax in Los Angeles on $10 it's not $12.50. The unfortunate problem is that I am black and I am not afforded the luxury to say something back because then I'm seeing as an angry black woman, have the police called on me not being believed etc. etc. so I just have to bite the bullet and get scammed and ripped off of my money. My partner and I both agree that it was not worth the hassle to go, but he really wants to take me to the restaurant across the street so we would go back to the plant guy and we would go back to the stall in the back but even those are BIG IFS as neither of us has any desire to ever go back to the Flower Mart. I feel like overall. The whole place is a money grab, you should save your money and go to your local farmers market or visit one of the many other vendors that were around the area without having to pay an admission fee to even buy flowers. Or better yet be bold like the elderly lady who accosted us as we were leaving and asked "are you all done in there can I have your sticker?" I was already too flustered to even recognize what she was asking till after my partner happily handed his over.

Beautiful options and displays!! Last minute shopping for a wedding that will take place within a week. I went to so many different vase stores looking for vases, and nothing was comparable to VasesByRoberts. Not only do they have the best prices, but you get the best quality and the BEST customer service. They will never let you leave indecisive or unsure of what you're buying. Alice is a florist so she's very helpful giving ideas on which flowers to get with the vases. read more

The prices were low and the quality was great. The lady there is full of ideas to help you with your wedding or flower arrangements.
