EXCEPTIONAL SERVICE! OK - so, I procrastinated and knew that I needed desperately to come into the dentist for a cleaning. I searched Yelp for a reputable dentist in Pasadena, and made an appt. The ladies who worked the front desk were professional and NICE and the bathroom was spotless. I met with Ruth, the dental hygenist that works only on MONDAYS - and was BLOWN away by her service. Not only did she expertly clean my teeth, she gave me guidance - without lecturing - on how to best clean my teeth for their well being. I DO floss, but had done it incorrectly. Within a week, my gums had completely stopped bleeding and my teeth are sparkling clean. Thank you Ruth for "teaching me how to fish" not fishing for me... Seriously an incredible dentist. I have had so many bad experiences with dentists in the past and needless to say I was nervous about this visit. If you are afraid of Dentists and Needles then Dr B is the solution to your problems. He finished numbing me without me feeling any kind of pain or pinching . It was the best dentist experience I ve ever had. (My Dad is a retired Dentist) Dr B is an amazing doctor with a great sense of humor. I absolutely cannot say enough about Dr. Bilemjian. Each time I hear the word "dentist" I cringe, each time I hear Dr. Bilemjian, I have a wide smile across my face (that he so diligently and lovingly constructed). Just the thought of being in his office makes me grin! His work: A masterpiece. Once my dental work is completed, I will post my before/after pictures and those photos will speak volumes. Each time he performs a procedure, I'm totally in awe. He is a master of this art called dentistry. Dr. Bilemjian is not only skilled, but also very passionate about what he does. He has such a big heart and an incredible personality. You will find yourself wanting to come into his office without dental issues! Teeth cleaning every three months is a good excuse. Try it, it worked for me. Going to get work done with Dr. Bilemjian is like a dental and therapy session in one! (Opposed to needing a therapy session AFTER a dental session before I found him). I always leave smiling and laughing because his office and staff are like an unfilmed comedy show. I swear, I'd work there for free if an opportunity allowed. Very comfortable office environment and friendly staff. My dental circumstances are unusual and maybe even a little challenging but they made me feel at ease and provided great service. Let me start by saying that my dad is a dentist. So I have a very high standard for what I think makes a good dentist. I have had it drilled into me! (no pun intended) Dr. Bilemjian and his entire staff are simply amazing. I am always impressed how well they work together in this small office. Sada the receptionist is so sweet and she runs the office like a top! Cassie is literally the best hygienist that has ever cleaned my teeth! And I have been going for a teeth cleaning every six months since I was 5. She is gentle and thorough, and great especially if you are sensitive or squeamish. She will sort you! Dr Bilemjian has worked on both me and my husbands teeth. My husband needed extensive treatment that entailed many visits. Dr. B did the work not only efficiently but beautifully. His teeth came out gorgeous! Better than we ever imagined they could! If you need cosmetic work, he is your guy! He is an artist! But he does regular stuff too! And Cora and the sweet blonde lady are awesome too! I just had fillings and a crown, but I am so happy with them. And Dr. B is a great guy, so the whole experience was actually pleasant!! I have never and I mean never had such an easy and enjoyable dentist visit. I had held off on getting my teeth checked because of my past experiences. This time around I went based off of reviews when looking for a dentist. I was very impressed with the reviews so I had to come in and see for myself. Words cant describe the amazing work and environment this team provides. I went in on my first visit to just get my teeth checked, and see what I would need done. But right off the bat he offered to get me started with the work needed. It was so quick and pain free, despite getting a shot. I have had 1 out of 2 crowns placed which let me tell you, you would never guess its not my natural tooth. The Dentist makes the entire process so enjoyable and he is such a funny and enjoyable person to be around. Dr. Bilemjian just saw me for an emergency broken tooth that really hurt. It's Memorial Day weekend and yet came in to see me -- so grateful. Then took a very conservative approach to save the tooth. Then he said if it did break again he would apply the cost to the more invasive and expensive procedure. Finally he prescribed a reasonable number of pain killers at a dose that works for fat people like me. Not too many! But enough. Great dentist. read more

HONEST! HONEST! HONEST! I went to another dentist who told me I had a cavity and needed some kind of very expensive deep cleaning. This would have cost me about $2,000. I was not experiencing any pain and I religiously floss and brush. This diagnosis sounded wrong so I made an appointment with Dr. Bilemjian. Dr. Bilemjian told me I did not have a cavity and my gums were fine. No deep cleaning necessary. He could have easily run up the bill on me and I would have paid. So refreshingly honest. I have been under the care of Dr. Bilemjian for the last 10 years. Genetically, I was born with very bad teeth. In March of this year, I had to have all of my upper teeth pulled, bone removed and added, along with 3 implants to start the process of "the"All on 4 treatment ". This surgery was done by Dr John Lytle, MD., who did an outstanding job. Through the 6 to 7 month process, Dr. Bilemjian and Dr. Lytle ensured that I received the best care. The 2 of them working together, made this a much smoother process then I could have ever imagined. Dr. "B" as we call him was responsible for the fit, look of my new teeth. Until my experience with the office of Dr. Bilemjian, visiting the dentist meant, embarrassment and untold expenses coupled with pain and discomfort. Dr Bilemjian and his unbelievably personable staff have redefined my idea of dental care. For as long as I can remember I had cavities, broken teeth, jaw pain and sensitivity and I had always been forced to give my entire paycheck to a dentist with yet another theory and "solution" to a singular symptom. Now realizing later that they simply wanted me to keep coming in, filling their file folders with invoices and their wallets with my copays. On my first visit to Dr Bilemjian I had broken a crown that desperately needed repair and pained me daily. Within minutes of the usual feeling your jaw, x-rays and general cleaning he paused to ask me if my husband ever heard clicking when I slept. I had so much obvious wear and tear on my natural teeth and dental work as well as jaw pain that he deduced I was "clenching" (not grinding) my teeth at night. This unconscious habit had broken fillings, crowns and normal teeth over time not to mention continuous bouts of jaw pain. He explained to me in layman's terms exactly what this meant, how it effected my teeth and health and answered all my ignorant questions along the way with patience and understanding. He not only fixed my crown quickly but also painlessly! Slight pinch of the needle and thats all! Normally after the numbing wears away I feel every tug and drill the dentist performed but thanks to his years of experience and dexterity, I ate a normal dinner that night with no pain whatsoever! He worked with my insurance to get an affordable mouth guard which virtually solved my dental problems. When it arrived he tirelessly sanded and smoothed my guard to perfectly fit my bite without charging me a dime for his efforts. Now I am a "regular maintenance" patient, something I have never been in my entire life. I actually look forward to scheduling my appointments now. Every visit I'm welcomed with a smile from every staff member, a joke from the Doctor who never fails to remember my occupation and my husband's name!
