I have been going to Dr. B for more then 10 years now. Various small in office procedures over the years. Last week I did 360 lipo. I was really scared of going under anasthesia. The surgical center he works with was amazing. Its a major hospital affiliated surgical center in Glendale. Not some building floor with surgical equipment. Overall process was great. I was walking the next day. Now about the doctor. I am very pleased with the results. He is the type of a doctor, that doesn't like to push the envelope. Always educates you, what is dangerous, what is allowed to do. As a person with no medical background, we don't know, what is safe, what is yellow line and what is red line. He gives you natural results. If you looking for a doctor, to give you natural look, and perform your surgery with safe medical standards he is the one to choose. For example, during my consult he told me that he will not do "to the bone" lipo. Some fat must be left for protection. I know some doctors will do it, because that is the best results right and the patient is asking for it? Take as much fat as possible approach. But is it safe for your body? Is is medically accepted practice. Those are the questions I asked myself, and did a lot of research, when I chose to take the route of liposuction surgery. For me Safety is first during surgery, my health afterwards is second. Then followed by results and outcome. I also took into consideration his more than 30 years experience in plastic surgery. Covid-19 safety regulations are strictly adhered to in Dr. Bardakjian's office which makes you feel extremely safe as a patient. Every room is thoroughly sanitized before and after use and appointments are made efficiently to respect social distancing. I have received Botox by Dr. B for a year now and I have to genuinely THANK him for his patience and knowledge! Dr. Bardakjian shows all his patients the vial of Botox to be injected, the preservative-free sterile water which he reconstitutes right in front of you!! I personally know of med-spas that never ever reconstitute the Botox in front of you because they do not follow the manufacturer labeling and dilute the product!! In addition, these sketchy clinics do not use preservative-free sterile water in an effort to save money. Dr. B took the time to answer all of my anatomy questions regarding facial muscles which made me feel so much more comfortable with a paralyzing agent! Further, with such knowledge, Dr. B. is extremely conscientious about where to inject so you never look botched or unnatural. I am severely terrified of needles and injections which in turn causes anxiety attacks during any procedure. I went to this doctor many years ago and he ruined my nose. He ruined it so bad, no other doctor want to touch it, to fix it! He not only ruined my nose but my life! After consulting with a surgeon in west hollywood, I was referred to Dr. B by a friend. I found that the office staff was very polite and helpful. I did not have to wait long for my appointment. Dr B and his assistant listened to all of my concerns and gave me wonderful advice. He was very realistic about my personal limitations and what would be the best route to obtain my desired look. He was very thurough and took time to go over anything and everything. I felt very comfortable. My boyfriend come with me and agreed that Dr B was wonderful. Dr. Vatche Bardakjian is just the worst doc. In 2009 i first went with him for my tummy tuck, which he did a very good job and was happy with my results . Went back 2013 for a lift and breast augmentation and the friend that i had recommended got a tummy tuck. He did such a horrible job on me, I told him i wanted to be a 34D and he left me being 34DD'S. My left breast had opened up and he didnt want to do anything about it, i would call him 24/7 and he woukd tell me in time it will close. BIG lie it opened up more until i went to his office and told him im not moving until you close me up. Horrible experience!!! It doesnt even look like i got a lift and my scar is disgusting Lets not talk about my friend, her tummy tuck is sooo ugly. Yes hes prices are good but you do get what you pay for. Had rhinoplasty done in 2007...1 week after post op he realized that on my left side there was "left over" scar tissue..injected me with Kenalog and assured me that the kenalog (corticosteroid) would help resolve the scare tissue. My nose has been crooked since day one and I expressed that to him but it went in one ear and out the other. Everyone notices how crooked my nose is and it feels horrible when you touch it. He takes your money, messes up and doesn't care to fix it. I've lived with this horrendous nose for 14 years now and everytime I pay consult fees to have other doctors fix it they're scared to touch it because it's so botched that they "say if we touch it your nose will collapse". Thank you for taking my money at 17 years old and giving me a messed up nose that depresses me everytime I look in the mirror!! Truly horrible! I had a great team helping with the surgery I had no pain waking up from surgery everything just perfect .. I happened to see him today for a follow up and injections, and truth be told, I couldn't have been happier with the way Dr. Bardakjian greeted me. He makes you feel so comfortable to be able to tell him all your problems. From the min you walk in to his office and leave you feel nothing but positive energy. The staff that works for him are not only polite but you enjoy watching them work and interact with each other. As far as my surgery,I had a rhinoplasty. I couldn't be more pleased. My consultation consisted of a one on one conversation that didn't involve a photo consult. He sat their listening to my problems and what I wanted. But mostly I loved the fact that he watched me carefully and examined my face while I talked to see what really needed to be done. He treated me like a princess and really made me less nervous. You can really tell in a doctor that he truly is doing everything in his power to make you feel at home and be able to enjoy the visit. To the person who wrote that horrible review about him, sounds more like a personal issue within you're self. Because if you really knew, you would know that his wife is diseased. I was very insecure about the size and shape of my nose from a very young age. Since middle school, I have always gotten mainly bullied because of my nose. I decided to see Dr. B after he did my best friends nose surgery. I was thinking about getting breast implants and a tummy tuck. I called to make an appointment and I was able to see him the same week. Wendy at the front desk was really nice and made me feel really comfortable. I waited only about 15 minutes. The doctor was very professional and answered all my questions. He agreed that I should have breast implants but told me I DIDN'T need a tummy tuck. I was recommended to him from a friend so I went for a consulation and was sold on the spot. I love his team working for him (Alisa in the office is truly one of a kind - the best!) and he did an amazing job on me - with little or NO pain at all. I was getting second thoughts of surgery when I saw him for the post-op and he took extra time on the spot to review with me every item that I was unsure about and he carefully explained what he would be doing to me in the surgical room.
