Last week received a flyer that included $119 wheel alignment for four wheels. I just replaced all four wheels on the pilot after the original tires provided 41,000 miles of safe traveling. Was told that I needed to get an alignment ASAP to verify any future warranties if needed. Made my appointment for 10:15 and was told that it would be done in one hour. How nice when a service rep has his facts in order in less than an hour receive my text that my car was finished two thumbs up that one. read more

I went last month looking for a new car. I was greeted by this woman named Cherm White. I made it clear to her that I was just looking around, not necessarily buying a car that same day. I came back 2 days later, test drove the car again but I still wasn't 100% sure with my decision. Obviously buying your first car is a pretty big deal. But not to Cherm. She kept trying to pressure me into buying a car I was not satisfied with. She made me very uncomfortable and upset. I was discussing with my family & she asked "why do you have to talk to your brothers?" She questioned what I could afford and try to pressure me into putting a bigger down payment than I wanted too. After that, she kept texting me and I kindly said I was not interested anymore. She then proceeded to ask what car I ended up getting. Few days later... I'm still getting emails & just yesterday she called me from her personal phone. I had already told her I wasn't interested so not sure why she keeps calling. Was very disappointed and upset this visit. Glad I took my business elsewhere. Cherm ruined my experience of buying a car. read more

I had a great experience today at the Vatland Honda service department, and I like to share the positivity whenever I encounter it. My car was experiencing some unusual startup issues that might be related to electronics. Meanwhile the building was under rennovation and service was in a trailer, and several technicians were out sick with a stomach bug. Despite those challenges, Mike in service, and my experienced technician Dave, were both helpful and true to their word. Dave took a good deal of time to give me his first hand view of the issue, which I really appreciated as a car guy. The issue isn't totally resolved yet, but I left with a great vibe and it feels right to share that here. Because sadly I encounter more and more cases when companies don't do the right thing and aren't true to their word. I will follow up here when all is said and done, with hopefully more good news :) read more

My salesman whose name is Shane was the absolute best sales person I have ever dealt with at a car dealership. He was extremely patient and he could not have been more accommodating. Had a generator that would not run. It is a Black Max with a Honda engine. The unit hadn't been turned over in several years so I knew the carburetor was the problem. I called Vatland and gave AJ the serial number of the engine and within a matter of a few minutes, he knew which carburetor I needed to replace my defective one. The new carburetor is installed and the generator is running like brand new. I have purchased small Honda engine parts from Vatland in the past and will continue. The staff is knowledgeable and the prices are fair. I would recommend Vatland to anyone who needs Honda small engine parts. read more

Bottom line ... stay away. And stay even further away from "Service" department. I regret ever stepping in to this place. Just a couple of months after buying car and warranties ... have to take in and they want to charge $100 to diagnose and when asked if everything would be covered by warranties, were told yes unless it is rodent damage. Wouldn't you know they then came and said it was rodent damage. Of course, they could offer no proof. Car is kept in garage and we have three other cars, two of which are kept outside, and never had an issue with rodent damage. Only time it was ever kept outside was when it was on dealer lot. Seems like a total scam. No response to email and was promised a call from manager ... no call. All I heard from them was a generic text that they would love for me to share my experience ... so okay. It was terrible!!! read more

I bought a used car from this dealer and had a terrible experience. From pressure salesman, to playing games with extras they try to get you to pay. They like to play games so buyer beware. I finished all the paperwork feeling I was roughed up and belittled. Then I get the car and guess what..the car gas was on empty the display said I had 20 miles left before it ran out gas and the yellow lights were on that the tire pressure was low on the tires. I had to go pay air pressure machine. The windshield windows were dirty as well. Had some glue sticker residue on the front and the little white, red, yellow paint marking all over the windows. They couldn't even remove them. How do you sell a car and give it to you like this? Very disappointed. read more

This review is for Rick one of the service advisors only. Women beware if you come here by yourself. Rick is a snake oil salesman. He will inflate things to make you spend money you do not have to spend. He's done it to me three times in the last 3 years. I have a light on and he told me it would be $179 to run a diagnostic to see what is wrong. I said I'm not paying that. He then says the diagnostic is covered under my service agreement but I can only do it Monday through Friday - today is Saturday. I told him just change my oil. Twenty minutes later he tells me my battery is leaking acid and its $220 to replace. Oh hell no. My brother is a greaser that worked on cars for over ten years including 3 different Honda locations. I told Rick thanks but no thanks because my brother used to work for Honda and will change my battery. I called my brother while I was waiting and he laughed and said I disrupted their profit. Baby Bro said that's called an upsell.. I really like this Honda location but I don't want to deal with Rick. The other service advisor Jarrod is awesome. He is very personable and helpful. He wants his customers to do what is best to keep their cars and themselves safe. read more

Tried to speak with a salesperson regarding the purchase of a Honda CRV......regrettably I got an incompetent woman by the name of Chrem......I told her what I was SPECIFICALLY looking for.......for the next week she harassed me with NOTHING of what I requested......I politely asked her to STOP......she continued and escalated into an argument.......I tried calling the GM and got some nasty group of women and some dope who started calling me and harassing me without even knowing the situation...... Went in to get a tire replaced. I understood before going in, buying a tire from a dealer would be more expensive. That being said, the tech was too lazy to recalibrate TMS, and the service advisor was too lazy to check. on the way home the low tire pressure light came on, but all were 32 except the new tire at 38 psi. After resetting TMS all is good. Would never recommend this dealer. read more

I went shopping for a 2023 Honda Accord or Civic at Vatland Honda about 2 weeks ago. My salesperson was Bryan Hosack and he was great. On my test drive he answered all of my questions, and carefully pointed out the features on the new Honda. Back at the dealership we talked options and pricing. I decided on the Accord as the price was in my desired range, and the trade-in value for my old car was good. He came to my home to get the Title from my previous vehicle and I provided a personal check. There were no high-pressure tactics from Byan or his manager. The absolute worst customer service I have ever seen from parts department, the woman hung up the phone on me. I just wanted to know a estimate price on a part never have a I ever needed a vin number to find a simple part when I am giving you all the information on the car make, made, engine, trim level, absolutely everything. But the lady argues that she needs the vin to look up a part, I have never needed to give the vin at Southeastern Honda in Palm Bay for an estimate on a price. The absolute worse customer service I have ever heard, and to think my father in law wanted to trade in his Honda HRV for a new Ridgeline, I Guess southeastern Honda will be taking our business from now on. read more

Not happy with the 135 diagnosis fee to tell me that the gas cap wasn't tightened enough that created a check engine light. And to add insult to injury, I got billed an add on fee of $20 to the total bill equal to 10% of bill that I wasn't told about... I felt like this was a take advantage of the consumer situation. Something just doesn't feel right about what just happened.. it feels unethical ... what can I do??? Leased a Honda Accord in September. After going through the list of ridiculous add on's the one I especially did not want was the door edge molding's at a cost of almost 300.00.They totally disregarded that request and put them on. Spoke to the service manager about removing them since I specifically asked they not be installed and he told me that I can do it myself and that there's touch up paint in the glove box in case I scratched it up. Seriously ? The correct way to respond to this is to say I'm sorry I'll make an appointment for you to get in and we'll remove them for you. I checked into it and there is a certain procedure for taking them off that would not result in any scratches to the door. I even told them keep the 300 dollars ! My husbands 2020 Honda Insight (6 months old) randomly started displaying multiple error messages. Called Vatland to have it looked at. They called to say the car had "obvious" physical damage. The physical damage they are referring to is damage to a radar sensor that is tucked in the front bumper. One of 4 pins was broken or missing. Nothing around this "box"is damaged so explain to me how there is OBVIOUS physical damage. Since they are claiming this was done by something hitting the car (or us hitting something) and miraculously causing ZERO damage to the car itself, they want us to pay $700 for a repair that should 100% be covered by the warranty. SHADY AF doesn't even begin to describe Vatland. Go. Anywhere. Else!!!! read more

When I arrived to pick up my car, the charge was over three times the amount I was originally quoted. I asked several times for the person I was working with to phone Mr. Vatland, but he refused, stating the matter wasn't "worth his time." Vatland Honda would not honor their "Internet Best Price". They tried to tell me it was only if you are military or recent college graduate which was not mentioned anywhere on the webpage. After hours of going back and forth, my wife and I agreed to a higher price of approximately $1500 dollars more than the price online. They sent us to lunch to think it over, they called and we agreed to come in to buy the vehicle. Halfway through gathering all of our information, the finance manager comes and sits down and asks if we like the car in any other colors because they just sold the one we already agreed to buy. The color was very specific and there were no other colors we wanted therefore we left without our new vehicle and a sour taste in our mouths once again from the whole new car buying experience. Vatland Honda had an excellent price on a used 2015 Accord Touring. I asked twice about the car to see if it was available. I get the usual "yes it's available, when can you come in?" I explain that I'm over a hour drive away so I'd like to get the Out the door price before I drive. After I ask, thats it, crickets. I've even called and ask the same question but was hung up on twice. It's a shame because I was a guarantee sale and I had made up my mind that I was buying this car.
