This restaurant was across the street from our hotel so the most convenient option at the time without researching the area. Our server was very nice and checked in frequently. Water and soda were refilled throughout the meal. I'm torn about how to review the food. I ordered the grilled chicken salad, I think it was called the Cali. The chicken was moist and served warm. It had a nice char on it. The vegetables were fresh. Even the avocado. It was a nice sized portion. The issue? It came out 10-15 minutes after my husband's meatball pizza. He was pretty much done eating before mine arrived. I did try a slice of pizza and was a little disappointed. I think it could have been cooked longer. Went on a trip for the weekend and decided to stop in. Immediately the vibe was great. The ambiance overall was very cool and it looked like a great spot to go for even just drinks. I ordered a spritz with St.germain and lavender syrup and it was different than what I have had before but was sooooo good. We then ordered the pretzel bites and they were delicious. I am a big pretzel fan and try to get them everywhere I go that has them and they definitely were some of the best. For dinner I had the penne ala vodka. It was good and a decent sized portion. I have been wanting to try this new place because of all the great reviews. What a great addition to the area. The food & drink menus had a great variety! We started with the philly cheesesteak egg rolls and the beef sliders, SO good! Then we got the poke bowl over greens (instead of rice) which was fresh and delicious; the other entree we tried was the Nashville Hot chicken sandwich which had a great flavor without just having a sauce that burns with no flavor; the truffled Parm fries were great. We ended with a Birthday treat (for Hubby), chocolate cake, really good! Fast and friendly service; thanks to Sydney(sp?) for creating a welcoming atmosphere! read more

Hands down one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had in my life. Beer was flat. We ordered plain cheesesteaks they came out with onions. Not to mention it took almost a half hour to get the food. Then they send the remade cheesesteaks out without fresh fries. Bartender who happens to be the manager is just sitting behind the bar on his phone while we are waiting for drinks. He comes over to discuss the experience and is just giving one word responses doesn't apologize. We got up and walked out. Would not recommend this place to anyone! read more

Horrible experience! We are locals of the Poconos, and visited this restaurant for the first time over the weekend. We are a family with 2 strollers, and the host decided to sit us in an area with an elevated floor, that we would've needed to pick up the strollers to get up to that level. We asked the host if we could sit somewhere else that is easier for us to access... he sat us all the way in the back of the building near the restrooms. Our table and highchair were incredibly sticky and not cleaned. Once the waitress arrived, we ordered two drinks... one draft beer, and a vodka and club. We watched the bartender on his and watching TV for approximately five minutes before making our drinks. My beer was incredibly flat and undrinkable... when I brought it back to the bartender, he stated that he just served it to people down at the end. There is no foam on the beer... anyone who has pored a beer or had a beer in their life could tell that that beer was not good. My husband and I placed a simple order of two plain cheesesteaks just steak and cheese with french fries. We waited roughly about 25 minutes for our cheesesteaks to come out only two observed that they were smothered and onions. We told the waitress about the mistake. She stated that she thought we ordered them plain which we did. Since we were waiting so long for our meals to come out, I asked her if we could hang onto the french fries so we had something to eat as well as something for our 14 month old to munch on while we wait for our sandwiches to be refired. I also asked the bartender for another round of drinks... which we watched the bartender once again pace up and down the bar texted on his phone and watch what was on the TV before making our drinks. I don't drink liquor, but the vodka club that my husband got... This time was straight club soda. I don't drink liquor, but took a sip and observed that there was zero vodka in the drink.. after now, almost an hour waiting for our food our cheesesteaks finally came out, with no french fries. We had fresh cheese, steaks, and the cold french fries that we kept from the previous cheesesteaks. We sent everything back and told the waitress that we will pay for our drinks, but we are leaving. I also asked to speak to the manager, which just happened to be the bartender. We watch the bartender roll his eyes when our server was talking about our experience with him. The bartender came over and asked us what the issue was and was incredibly unapologetic.... And seem to definitely not care about the horrible service or our poor experience.. with that being said we will never dine at this establishment again or recommend this restaurant to anybody. We were walking on main street and trying to visit a few places. We stopped in and sat at the bar. The bartender did not greet us and just placed menus on the bar. When she did come over she let us know that if we ordered anything with espresso, that she'd have to make more. The attitude seemed as if she didn't want to be bothered with the espresso. We ordered a spicy pineapple margarita and a cinnamon old fashioned. Two of the drinks on the menu were not available, due to a lack of ingredients! The drinks we did get were delicious! The next time our bartender came over she said "so I guess you're not ordering food". When we tried to tip her, she said for us to just keep it. I've never had a bartender like this before. We were completely turned off and we probably won't be back anytime soon. For those wondering, there were only about 7-10 people in the place. read more

Christine was the server and she was nice. I ordered the house pinot nior and this night they had $10 burgers so I ordered the Vault burger and that was tasty. While traveling in the poconos, we stopped at Vault 636 in Stroudsburg. We quickly learned that Thursday is their wing night - $0.75 wings in ordered if five. First, a shoutout to our server Rocky. She did a great job and even knew what a Godfather was. She also taught us what a Godmother was. So we ordered wings. Simply buffalo and gold sauce. Both were excellent. Not much heat, but perfectly made. Their wings aren't huge and to us, that's a plus. We prefer a smaller, higher quality wing. read more

We stopped here after a long hike and were starving and the food did not disappoint! Every dish we tried, from appetizers to the main course, was absolutely phenomenal. The drinks were great too. Our waitress was super friendly, attentive, and quick, which made the experience even better. The ambience is lovely, and the space is huge, making it feel open and comfortable. Highly recommend! I've been going to The Vault 636 lately and it's quickly become my new favorite go-to bar. The atmosphere is always great, and trivia nights are one of my favorite things they do -- always a fun time. Everything on the menu has been awesome. The food is always fresh and you can tell they keep things updated and interesting. The weekends are perfect too. Even when it gets busy, you never really have to wait long for a drink. The staff there are amazing -- super friendly, attentive, and they make the whole experience even better. We had my child's 14th birthday dinner here with her friends and family (about 16 people, adults & 9 teens). I called ahead of time and made the reservations for a Sunday evening. I made sure to ask if there were any events going on (this spot definitely gets hyped lol and I needed it family friendly for the dinner lol). I ordered an array of appetizers and finished off with pizza. The teens all got to order a mocktail (they loved them lol). The food was great. Everyone tore it up lol. Food was bad. Fish and chips was a single filet so thin it was dryer than eating paper. With fries no better than the size of McDonald's and barely any. Fish and chips should be two to three thick beer battered breaded pieces of awesome white fish and chips are thick cut fries most likely the shape of a half oval or circle. Really disappointed plus my coke tasted funny and my wife's ice tea tasted like out of a can and I don't care what she says a medium done burger should not have been as red as hers was. This place was hilariously bad. Started off with drinks, where we ordered a classic cocktail - and were told "we're out of that." Like, out of what? An ingredient? It wasn't a premade. We asked them to check, they did, and returned with the worst classic cocktail we've ever had, which is impressive as the mixing of it is 1:1:1. The Guinness was... well, obvious that they didn't sell much. Ordered entrees, one with a side of sweet potato fries. For some reason the sweet potato fries came out a good 15 minutes prior to the entrees. Did they think they were an appetizer? Who knows - never saw the waitress until well after the entrees! Went to the host stand to get silverware, as for some reason they gave us only one set for two people. Entrees came, mine with a side of potato chips. Which was odd, as it was stated to come with fries - and yet, they included the ketchup and mayo for the fries. No explanation. After we were done, and finally saw the waitress, she told us they were out of fries. No explanation, no reduction of price, just a sad, small serving of generic Sysco potato chips. Maybe the grocery store was out of fries and potatoes? This was early on a Saturday night. And speaking of sad Sysco items, the burger was a premade burger puck, and was cold. Not 'hey, could have been hotter.' Just cold. Overall, nice looking space continuing the utterly terrible food of Siamsa. No reason to go there ever again. Don't suggest anyone else do either. If you come to this restaurant and your server introduces herself as Ryleigh... Leave. Our group ordered 10 burgers and 4 coffees, which we chose because there was a burger special advertised outside. Despite the restaurant being nearly empty, our server seemed overwhelmed from the start. Our order was not put in correctly (or at all), and when we asked about our food nearly 40 minutes later, we were told it was our fault for ordering "too much food." The service issues kept piling up. The coffees arrived cold, and when we mentioned it, Ryleigh insisted they were freshly brewed and didn't offer to replace them. We asked for an extra straw--forgotten. We asked for sugar--no spoon. We asked her to check on our food after 45 minutes (including one appetizer)--nothing. After over an hour of having only water and four cold coffees, we asked for the check. We were so upset because when we arrived, there were only two other parties finishing their meals. By the time we were still waiting, the 3 parties that arrived after us (including people who ordered burgers and fries) had already been served and were finishing their meals. Ryleigh continued to assure us the food was ready and eventually brought out three burgers with no fries. She didn't know which burger belonged to whom or what was on each one. When we realized the burgers were cold and not what we ordered, we asked to return them and requested the check. Once again, she told us the kitchen was busy and that we had ordered too much food. That's not a reasonable excuse! Burgers are called fast food for a reason and it wasn't until we asked for the manager that the situation improved. He was kind, apologetic, and acted with urgency. He offered us 50% off, ensured we finally received food, and brought us genuinely fresh, hot coffee which made it clear that what we were served earlier was not freshly brewed, despite what we were told. We truly appreciated the manager's professionalism and effort, even though some of us never received exactly what we originally ordered. But at that point, we were too hungry to mention it. It's unfortunate this was our experience because the food itself was quite good. However, customers should not receive poor service due to a disorganized system or an unqualified server. Not once throughout the entire ordeal did Ryleigh apologize or take accountability for her lack of attention and communication. read more

Im big on food safety and cleanliness. First the tables were not cleaned and neither was the floor it had salad dressing under our table. Asked for a root beer and your establishment did not have. Got the meatball, vodka pizza with meatballs, now let's say this was a frozen tonys pizza with meatballs thrown on top. Fried pork belly was mostly fatty chunks. I'd say the best thing we got was Mac and cheese. Also got got a jack and coke with no I.D check and was a over pour, causeing money loss on the buisness.... 20% gratuity added to the tip and the waitress came by 4 or 5 times. Food was 4 out of 10. Been here plenty of times under the previous name, so first time under the new name and management. There was an issue with communication almost from the start. We initially chose to sit outside, but when the heavy cigarette smell hit us, we went inside to the host so we can sit inside. It seemed that the server we would've had outside didn't know she would still be out server inside since we didn't get any serive for nearly 10 minutes. I approached the host to ask who our server is and at the time a gentleman that was working the bar (my guess a manager) walked by and heard me, so he asked what's happening and I told him we haven't been served so he asked what we would like to drink and said our server will be with us soon. A few minutes later, the same server we were going to have outside, came to our table and said "they took your drink order, right?", I said yes and then took our food order. We then waited 15 minutes for our drinks that never came. Mind you, they were not busy, there were only about 7 tables being served, 3 servers, and 2 bartenders, so there was not reason why our drinks never came. We were frustrated because we saw all the other tables being served and it almost seemed like we were getting blown off. We decided to leave since there was no reason for such long waits since they were not busy at all. It appeared there were too many assumptions. The server probably thought we would be served by someone else when we moved inside, and she probably thought the gentleman that took our drink order was going to bring them. We never leave restaurants, but the long time for drinks and the feeling of being neglected left us frustrated and disappointed. read more

i asked for a steak knife and they gave me a dirty butter knife. my husband got both his meal and his app while i sat there with no food for over 30 minutes. they never refilled our drinks. we had to go to the bar 4 times to ask for stuff like silverware, napkins, etc. basic items that should already be on the table while we're eating our meal. the hot water i asked for tasted like coffee. their cups and silverware are clearly not being cleaned. whats the point. read more
