Everyone thinks Lisa Shapiro is an MD. because that is what Shapiro wants you to think!!!!!...Shapiro told me when I challenged her credentials as an MD that she received an ONLINE Edd or Doctor of Education from Brenue University in Georgia.. I knew there was a problem when she could not even read the results of a blood test. 2 of the 3 staff were very nice the 3rd got upset when I referred to her as an assistant. She wanted to be referred to as a Medical assistant to Dr. Shapiro. When I told her Shapiro was not a Dr of Medicine she went out and told Shapiro who came into the office and was as nasty as can be calling me names but in a whisper admitted to her lack of and MD credential. My recommendation is stay away!!!!!!!!!! read more

Husband went in today. Let's just say they the Dr doesn't seem to k kw what she is doing. When I asked her to put in a prescription for insulin and for a new blood meter monitor. Dr Susana Boka's response was they we were giving her too much paperwork to do. Enough said... Stay away if you value your health. My sister was staying with me. Due to weather (tropical storm) she decided to change her trip. In order to visit her grandchildren in California she and her husband got a covid test. She tested positive. He tested negative. Because we had a small family gathering 7 of us got the rapid test at $140 a pop. We all showed up negative. She got another one 3 days later. She tested negative. The person who was giving the test kept giving us the wrong name print outs. Total chaos. read more

Went to clinic for follow up appointment for blood pressure. Staff very nice and friendly. That is the only good thing I can say! Dr. walked into room after waiting over 90 minutes and had never looked at my chart. All she said was what can I do for you. Found her to be uncaring and arrogant! I went to VAVA and had a pleasant experience due to the hospitality and knowledgeability of the employees in this clinic. I was lucky enough to have Maday as my nurse , she made me feel at ease and welcome upon arrival. The building could use some cleaning . read more

This place is a total scam. Went for Covid testing back in December and they said they did not take insurance, it was cash only. Very few places we're doing rapid testing so we had no choice but to go here. Paid $140 cash and then just recently I got an explanation of benefits from our insurance company that Vava had in fact billed the insurance months later for the and our insurance paid out. The only reason they had my insurance on file was because of a sick visit I went for back in 2019!!!!! Called them and left them 3 messages and never got a call back. Then I suddenly get a check in the mail-not for the $140 I paid them-but for the amount the insurance paid which is significantly less. Because of places like this, our insurance rates continue to increase year after year. Stay away from this place and check your insurance EOB!!!! read more

Over the New Year holiday my daughter needed a PCR Covid test quickly for international travel that evening. This was the only place that performed them with results processed on site in 30 minutes. CVS and all others had a 3-4 day turnaround time. After paying $180 cash, waiting 4 hours among complete chaos , dealing with a few rather rude people that did not speak English well and were hard to understand, she got a POSITIVE test result. No symptoms, no fever, nothing. Positive result didn't allow her to board her flight. I ended up testing at CVS the next day, since I was presumably in close contact with her. My result back back NEGATIVE. She tested again the next day at CVS and again 3 days later, both coming back NEGATIVE. The experience at Vava was horrible and we highly suspect the accuracy of the result due to subsequent tests, as well as mine, all coming back negative. We would not recommend this place at all. My mother arrived for 10:00am appointment and was put in a closet room in her wheelchair and waited 1 and 1/2 hours before anyone checked on her. I checked with receptionist and she said the Dr was new and was running behind. Finally came by and told me to move her to room 4. After moving her wheelchair into another small room. Dr came in and asked what her name was and then after looking her up on computer said she had no records for my mom so she could not fill out our forms or give her treatment . She never addressed my mom the patient repeatedly kept saying to me she cannot do anything without history. My moms medical history was sent in June but supposedly they never received them so she could not sign our forms again. She stated she needed to speak with the Administrator and then came back with a receptionist saying if we left the forms when they get the history they could fill them out. Nothing was said about the physical she was supposed to get today at all. At this point I had enough of this lack of treatment as well as ZERO COMPASSION for my 88 year old Mom and we left. I have never in my 65 years had this type of treatment by a dr and office staff. I am filing a complaint with BBB and medical board. read more

Terrible clinic. Got there at 10:30AM for a simple RT-PCR test and left at 2pm. This is says alot of how they function and how organized they are. I had to keep calling them to get swabbed although they had all my information and my license and I should have been next in line. I saw others who got there before me leave with their paperwork. I finally got swabbed and turns out they only take cash even though they say they take credit cards. I had to drive to the bank, go inside to pay and they said to go wait in the car. I waited and waited and I got so impatient, I walked inside and they said they had called me with my results when I never got a single phone call. They read a phone number to me which was not mine! I wrote my phone number down in the sheet they have outside for testing! Have they been calling random people with other peoples results?! That can turn out to be very bad! Never again. Do not go there at all and if you do, be very presistant with them every 10 minutes or else they will forget about you and leave you waiting for almost 5 hours. read more
