The stylists were friendly, the haircuts were priced fairly, and my girls had a great time getting pampered. The salon has floor to ceiling windows, which adds to the vibe. This salon serves as my lesson not to cheat on my regular hair stylist. I went in a few hours before an event I had and they squeezed me in for a cut and color. Aside from poor scheduling issues on their end and an extremely stressful environment (which I can understand is not the stylists fault directly), when I showed a reference photo of myself with the color of dark brown hair I usually have, it wasn't til I walked out of the salon noticing that my roots have an orange hue and my ends are basically black. Not sure I can blame the stylist though, she probably didn't have time to notice with how quickly she rushed me out. read more

Well when I booked my appointment I was excited because I needed this makeover but the hairstylist didn't really talk, she first asked me how much money I was working with and I told her $400 so at the end when she finished she said it's going to be $395. First of all am not the one to complain and I usually don't but my hair is so tangled she didn't even recommend anything for my hair. I asked for a balayage with a butterfly haircut for $395+tip not happy with results. read more

Vaya salon-An Aveda Concept Salon booked me with someone unfamiliar with my hair. I asked for a balayage. The results were and are disastrous. I paid over $250 to have my hair ruined. I've been seeing Kellie since the week she opened her doors. To have my hair ruined because they gave me to an unfamiliar stylist is unacceptable. UPDATE: the owner, Kellie, threatened me with legal action because I posted this review. She was also threatening and unprofessional on the phone. This was after I was a very loyal customer paying high prices for years. Beware. Edit / Response (first posted to Google): The first time I went to Vaya, it was when I moved from another state and I wanted to continue with an Aveda salon. I did not have a corrective color. Then or now. This service: I was getting my balayage touched up. I ended up with a brassy mess. All my previous services were with Kellie. The new stylist asked me to come back because my color is AWFUL. I paid and tipped in expectation this would be fixed. If the salon is unable to accommodate fixing this mess this week, a refund so I can go elsewhere is in order. I offered times and dates I could come back up until this weekend, and Kellie refused. That being said, she has refuses a refund so I can go elsewhere to correct this mess of my hair. Do NOT go to this salon!! Especially when she threatens to sue due to honest reviews. read more

Dancia took my light brown hair to dark red and did an absolutely AMAZING job. I love it and I have never gotten so many compliments. I can't say enough good things and Caitlin and the rest of the girls at the salon. I went to this salon on a whim 3 months ago after being frustrated with my other salon and they got me in right away. I was so happy with my hair when I left and scheduled another appointment for 3 months later. The second time they also got my daughter in with me last minute and made both of us feel beautiful. I had a really hard morning before my last appointment and Caitlin changed the tune of my whole day. My 10 year old said she felt so grown up being listed to by her stylist and being given the exact cut she asked for. She keeps telling me how her stylist said she has "perfect" hair. Walked out very disappointed with the service. I had asked for a blonde balayage and even showed my inspo pic. I had cooper hair up to my shoulders and all the hairstylist did was add a couple blonde highlights to my hair with out bleaching the rest of my hair. I was charged $240 very disappointed.
