We attended a birthday dinner at Vasquez #3 and it DID NOT DISAPPOINT! It was fight night when we went they had a large screen showing the fight & also a DJ and a dance floor with colorful lights and upbeat music to keep the night going! The food was great! I had mushroom street tacos w potato's and my significant other had the nopales quesadilla! They were both delicious! The salsa was thin but don't let it fool you, it packed the perfect amount of heat with tons of flavor! The newly added FULL BAR was great we tried margaritas, Palomas and Mexican martinis, we loved them all! The waitstaff was up beat and very attentive to our big top! Everyone's checks were correct and all items delivered timely! Thanks to the Vasquez team for a memorable night, can't wait to come back

Delicious authentic Mexican food served up hot and fresh by friendly wait staff. Situated in a small strip center, this place is a hidden gem. Their charro beans are so flavorful and good! The street tacos, chicken gorditas and flautas are my go tos. Don't forget to ask for the salsa verde. You won't be disappointed. They recently added a full bar and it's one of my favorite places to catch up with the girls on a Friday night.

Great spot for a quick bite, particularly if you're keen on some breakfast. Breakfast plates are loaded with perfectly cooked potatoes, refried beans, eggs your way and with bacon, ham or sausage, and tortillas. Breakfast tacos, particularly the taco madre, are chock full of ingredients. Usually greeted as you come in. Seat yourself. Service is friendly and efficient. Parking out front in the strip mall. Takes cards and cash. Note: Now open for dinner Thursday through to Saturday nights.

The service was great. Food was good. Queso and salsa were very good. Few things could be better but overall I'd eat here again.

First time here. Our waitress was nice and came back to check in and refill our drinks. We asked for chips and salsa very good. The food was delicious. We had barbacoa plate which had lots of flavor and very generous portions of beans and potatoes, our daughter had 2 barbacoa tacos and my husband had a barbacoa taco and a bean cheese taco also very generous portions. The only thing was they don't have authentic flour tortillas which is huge which was disappointing because their food was absolutely delicious.

We love this place. We have lived nearby for a few years, and have dined in a number of times, but usually we pick up breakfast tacos to go. Those breakfast tacos are PACKED -- delicious and full of fillings. Always more salsas provided than we need, which we use for other meals at home lol. HOWEVER, it is worth coming here in person -- the food is delicious and fresh and the service is top notch. You get to keep the red and green salsa dispensers on your table, so you never run out. All the servers take care of all the tables, and it really makes you feel like they care. The servers wear shirts that mention their great customer service, so the business knows, and cares, and it shows. The restaurant is clean and well cared for, there are really cool/convenient condiment stands on the tables that hold a paper towel roll (so smart!!), and the place is decorated bright and colorful with some really cool paintings, including a copycat Austin mural on one wall with their name. This is a regular go-to spot that has never disappointed and was one of the first places to reliably provide takeout during the pandemic. This review is long overdue.

Gordibuena and beef fajitas!! Great breakfast!!

We have been coming to Vazquez#3 since 2007 and they gave never failed to deliver an awesome meal. The Gordibuena is simply amazing and their beef fajitas are always on point! If you haven't tried this hidden gem, you have honestly been missing out!

Love the barbacoa from this place! Always fresh, tasty! Never dry! I order half a pound. $10 Wait is usually 5-10mins. Very nice inside setting too!

This place is my go too for breakfast and lunch!! The wait staff is amazing and always welcoming. The food is awesome and very tasteful.

Favorite family breakfast place in town. The gordibuena is my jam lately. The migas are great. There's some "American" breakfast items such as pancakes. The breakfast tacos are the best around here, and the waitresses are lovely.

Solid Mexican breakfast place. Been to other locations as well. Hard to get anything bad. It can get busy mid mornings.

And don't come expecting cheese or sour cream -- the only add‑ons here are cilantro, onions, salsa, and guacamole. It's a stripped‑down menu, and they stick to it. The tacos are solid. The beef isn't anything remarkable, but the chicken is tender, moist, and genuinely flavorful. The quesadilla is the sleeper hit; the baked cheese gives it a deep, savory punch that outshines the tacos. And if you're hungry or just want the best value, the burritos are enormous -- stuffed right up to the tortilla's structural limit. For our entrées, we had Brian's Alambre Plate, the Chicken Mole, and the Line Cook's Snack Plate. Brian's Alambre Plate combines sirloin, pork pastor, house-made chorizo, and bacon with peppers, onions, and melted Jack cheese. It was good and certainly offers plenty of variety and flavor. For my personal taste, though, if I am primarily craving meat, I prefer Eldorado's Carne Guisada. There is nothing wrong with the Alambre, I just think the Carne Guisada is the stronger choice for me. The Chicken Mole is my wife's favorite, and unfortunately it is only offered as a special late on Thursdays. The house-made mole has a rich, distinctive flavor that works very well with the chicken, and it is easy to understand why she looks forward to it. The Line Cook's Snack Plate was also a great combination with two flautas, a choice of Chicken Caldo or Texas Red, Eldorado rice, and guacamole salad. It is a nice option when you want a little bit of several things rather than one large entrée. Overall, another very enjoyable meal at Eldorado Cafe. Good food, plenty of variety, and enough different flavors on the menu that everyone can find a favorite. We certainly have ours!

The sides were great as well and complemented the steak nicely. I had the Watermelon Agua Fresca to drink. It was refreshing, but not my favorite watermelon drink I've had. Overall, I loved the steak and was impressed with the quality of the food! A couple of things could be improved, though. Some of the light fixtures hang way too low, so if you're tall, be careful! Also, the back-of-house area spilling into the restaurant space feels a little odd and takes away from the overall atmosphere.

Somehow I'd never been despite living so close, so I was excited to finally check it off my list. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful, and their famous foyer is just as pretty in person as everyone says. I came with a friend, and we grabbed seats at the bar first while waiting, but I definitely recommend making reservations because this place is BUSY, even on a weeknight. Parking can also be a bit of a struggle since they have a pretty small lot. I had to make a few laps before I finally found a spot, so definitely give yourself a little extra time. They do offer valet, and I believe you may also be able to park in the lot next door after hours since it's their sister restaurant, but don't quote me on that haha. Their margaritas are also really good and definitely on the stronger side, so they were a great way to start the meal. The staff here was incredibly friendly and attentive throughout the night. They even walked us to our table and later showed me where the bathroom was, which I thought was a really nice touch. As for the food, it definitely lives up to the hype. It's on the pricier side, but everything tasted incredibly fresh and was well worth it. We ordered the enchiladas, which were delicious, and the shrimp was probably my favorite part of the meal because it was so fresh and perfectly cooked. I can definitely see why this restaurant has been around for so long and has such a loyal following. It took me way too long to finally come here, but I'll definitely be back. One thing I'm noticing as we do these is that you often write reviews that are genuinely useful--not just "food good/bad." You include things like reservations, parking, what to order, or where to sit. I think we should keep leaning into that because it feels very authentic to your style and makes your reviews stand out.
