5 Stars for the Effort & Concept 4 stars for her work (Shellac Pedicure is what I got) 3 Stars for the furniture and ambiance (I simply prefer the massage chairs at any and every nail salon) It's a clean and friendly place. She's decorated well and I'm respecting the fact that a start up budget is small and money has to spread to cover so much in such a little amount of time. I came because of the GROUPON and will return because of her designs and STUDENT discount for the kid. Her pedicure seats are on raised platforms with a view of the LCD TV. Up to date magazines. Clean and comfortable. I AM JUST A LOYALIST TO THE MASSAGE CHAIRS. I trust when she grows and her clientele roll is longer then she'll upgrade. Until then, what's in place is good enough. She's a one woman operation (when I visited) so I wish she would have told me so and I would have arrived later than booked because I had to wait 17-20minutes before we got started as she was winding down on a manicure. Again, a clean environment makes me happy so I don't have to worry about infection. The boutique side has clothing for sale. A few pieces are nice but the jeans are super cute. Respect the fact that she's young and trying to establish a respectable business. That's worth supporting in my book. read more

HORRIBLE service. Never would recommend anyone to come to her! Originally had an appointment scheduled for Saturday at 9:45am for a gel mani and gel pedi. She texts me at 7 in the morning the same day to say she's going to have to reschedule for 1:30 instead. I said fine. She only got the gel off my nails and filed them, then her next client came in early & she tells me that she's going to have to rush to get my nails done!!! I said NO thank you. I rather come back another day! I leave and have to message her to squeeze me in again because my nails looked TERRIBLE. So she agrees and says she'll only have time to do my nails and not my feet. I say fine. I don't live too far so I was willing to come back (MISTAKE) I text her to see if I could come in again because my nail cracked and she was still missing to do the gel pedicure (I had already paid for both services by the way, she redeemed my Groupon before finishing) then she says to come in at 6:00pm I showed up at 6:08 because the bridge opened on Atlantic. To my surprise, she has another client there scheduled for a 6:15 appointment!! Something she failed to communicate. Then she rudely tells me, in front of her other client, that she can't take me right now, instead of having called or responded to my messages as you can see below. VERY RUDE. And even tried to accuse me of it being my fault for showing up late and not telling her I had gel on previously, which again you can see in the messages that I did. Came here with a Groupon for a mani/pedi. It took about a month to actually get in for the appointment using their online booking service. Yikes. I was the first appointment of the day and I could tell Veronica had arrived only a minute before I arrived (I was right on time). She was dressed and had her hair done super cutely. The bowl to soak your feet in for the pedicure has a disposable plastic liner. This was great as my husband had been telling me about MRSA at nail salons just the day before so I was nervous. She upsold me on a shellac pedicure, my first. It was 10 dollars extra and it RULES!!!!!!!!!! It's been 12 days since my appointment and not one chip or imperfection at all. I never really understand what shellac was and Veronica explained it very well. She did a great job on the polish and even put some cute stars on my big toes. I love the decorations and it doesn't look like any other nail salon I've been to. It's very much her own and I admire her for that. Could use some practice on professionalism/not checking phone so much during appointments or maybe hire a receptionist. I don't like to converse much during spa type of appointments and her amount of chit chat was perfect. I read a magazine for part of the time and chatted with her part of the time. It wasn't stupid chatter about the weather either. There was a walk-in customer and she talked to her while working on my feet. Another time a receptionist would have come in handy. The manicure was just Ok, I got clear polish only and like all regular polish it chipped and came off within a few days. I don't get my nails done much any more, but I would definitely come back here again. P.S. Use their online booking system for last minute deals etc. read more

Purchased a Groupon for my son's wedding months in advance. Two days before the wedding she cancelled saying an employee quit. Offered to sell me a different service or fulfill after the wedding. No apology. No attempt to help me get my money back from Groupon. No attempt to help me get an appointment with a different salon. She just tried to get me to use the money on a different service at her salon even though she just left me in the lurch. She was concerned about losing her profit. If the word "sorry" is followed with a "but" then it isn't an apology. Example: I'm sorry but this isn't my fault. read more

Went to this nail salon because I had a Groupon. It was an awful experience. There were only 3 people on staff there (1 seemed to be the owner/manager) and even though I was the ONLY customer in the place, they made me feel like I was really putting them out by making them work. There is zero level of professionalism and certainly no attempt to make you feel pampered. I do not get manicures routinely and do not have any sort of diva complex, but this place was ridiculous. Two of the nail techs even went as low as to spend a good 10 minutes bad mouthing a prior customer right in front of me. At one point, i thought this was some sort of joke and i was on a hidden camera because it was just too unbelievable. My Groupon was for 3 visits so I HAD to sit through 3 excruciating sessions here! On the rare chance that another customer did walk in, it took forever for anyone to acknowledge them since they were busy on their personal smart phones or in the back room. One potential customer got tired of waiting after 2 to 3 minutes and walked out. They also sell shoes, clothing, and accessories here. Cheap and trashy are the adjectives that come to mind. The overall quality of the mani/pedi's I had were inconsistent ranging from average to sloppy. Their supplies were unorganized and seemed almost dirty. The worst part for me was the feeling that my presence there was interfering with their day. I don't know how this place will survive with such an incredibly unprofessional and unwelcoming atmosphere. read more

VERY unprofessional. I bought a Groupon for this place and I finally set my appointment, but of course this so called "business" was closed. The closed sign said they would be back at 10 something, and when I went it was 3/4 hours pass that time. It would have been nice if they contact their customers if they have to cancel so people like me don't have to drive 25 minutes to an unreliable place. Just having to do business with this place would never make me think twice of coming back. I even called them and of course no answer, and the second time I called them they turned their phone off. Hint Hint "UNPROFESSIONAL." I'm so glad Groupon gave me every cent back, and Groupon should not off had to apologize to me for this unprofessional business. Also, there is no flexibility because when I looked at their open days they were closed a lot of the days or full. The days they were open they would only 1 or 2 openings if that, and they were odd hours. Luckily since this place very unreliable I went to another place afterwards and got in right away, and I was very satisfied. Lastly they aren't even approved by the BBB, so that shows this place is very poor overall. read more
