If I can, I will double my stars(At least 10) to Vector Movers. My search to find the best moving company is over and from now, I will be hiring Vector movers to do the job. Our move was a little complicated and has all the ingredients to fail at every step: It was a interstate move, with unknown destination address and includes storage with an unknown end date. Pre-move: Mike responded on time. He went through the quote with me. He clearly understands that the list of items, especially the number of boxes are not going to be the same. It was a little stressful to fill up the paperwork, but I understand that they do not want to charge you any extra. On the same time, Mike was accepting all the changes until the last minute. As long as its reasonable change, Mike was gracious enough not to change the price. On the move-out date (Jersey City): Tony was the foreman. Simply, Tony and his team is amazing, professional and a pleasant to work. They arrived on time and provided me with a link to track. Tony and his team were incredibly efficient while still taking extra care with our furniture. They packed everything expertly and did a great job with our TVs and other fragile items too. Tony and the movers were also ready to help with last minute things (for example: they provided an extra book box, and asked if there was anything else they could help with before they left. While doing all these, Tony was also able to answer all my questions including storage. Although, I have used other movers before, this is the first time, I felt very happy with my selection. I really can't recommend them enough. Storage: I had originally planned for 1 month storage, but got extended for an additional month. Mike's on time communication was very helpful. He followed up with me regularly before the move in date. I keep extending my storage for 15 days every time and with no fuss, he accepted my request. Hats off to Mike for his patience, genuine concern and flexibility. Move in date (Boston): Tony was the foreman again. Once again they are right on time. I assumed that they will reach around 2pm and expected them to take rest after a 4-5 hours tedious journey from Jersey City and finish the move probably around 6pm. I was totally wrong. They showed up around 1130 am (Scheduled time was between 11am-1pm) and jumped right to work. After setting up everything, they left around 2pm. They did not leave any mess. No damage to our furnitures. Overall impression: Working with Vector movers is like a dream come true. This was one of the very pleasant move that we had in a long time. Vector Movers is an incredible company. My wife and I recently moved from an apartment on the 4th floor (no elevator) to a single family home in Bergen County. Thanks to Vector Movers (VM), our experience was as smooth and pleasant as could be, all while being the best deal around. I called VM and quickly got a representative on the line. They quickly confirmed my moving date was available and sent me a inventory questionnaire to fill out. I returned the detailed questionnaire and was provided a quote the same day. I had researched several other moving companies in the area based on recommendations by co workers and I can say that VM's quote was 1/3 of the price of the other quotes I received and the representative seemed confident that it would be done in 1/2 of the time the other companies estimated. I was slightly skeptical because it seemed too good to be true, but there were enough other positive reviews that made me confident in my decision to hire VM I will condense the following as much as possible: Confirmed without issue the day before the move. Movers arrived within the hour time window they quoted. Movers brought an additional mover with them than what I was quoted. Movers began work immediately and did not stop or break until the job was done, and it was 95 degrees outside which felt like 105 with the humidity. They worked with an extremely efficient game plan - it was obvious they were professionals and have seen it all. This was confirmed by the fact that all of our furniture and boxes were safely Tetris-like packed into the moving truck. Nothing was broken, nothing was scratched. They even minded the walls to the apartment building and our new home. They finished the move only half an hour longer than what was quoted. They charged me for the exact time worked which I was glad to pay. All in all, we were moved in to our new house in half the time other movers quoted, and for half the cost, tip and all. The company never added additional stress to the process which was much appreciated, and the guys showed up on time, worked like BEASTS in insane New Jersey heat, and got us moved without a scratch. VERY pleased with the service and I will recommend this company any chance I get. I have a lot of friends our age who are purchasing homes and I will absolutely vouch for VM every time based on our wonderful experience. We engaged Vector Moving LLC to shift our household effects from a 512 sq ft studio to a larger apartment 2 bedroom in the same locality. Our experience of using their services has been very poor. Firstly the crew arrived 45 minutes late that created confusion as we had only 2 hour window for elevator. Second, they refused to honor the previously agreed terms of contract, eg the crew wanted to charge extra for 3 wardrobe boxes that were promised as free in the written contract, they refused to move many items like printer, kitchen utensils, paintings etc that they said are not covered in their contract. But the crew in-charge Aleksey mentioned he would take these items if he was paid more on the side. The crew left behind the clothes in one wardrobe altogether....and blamed us for the omission!!!! Third, they proceeded to go to the new apartment without letting us know that they were going there. Luckily, I called to inquire about where they were otherwise they would have wasted additional time sitting idle. These kind of shady tactics made me loose all respect for the crew. Not just that, the move was not done properly either. They damaged a lot of items- A shoe rack was wrecked and a bookshelf left un- assembled ..and when I brought this to their attention, the crew incharge had the audacity to mention the book shelf is easy to assemble and I should do it myself....How dare he! I am paying him for this. The crew charged us for extra 30 minutes and had the audacity to and bickered for a gratuity after the move for substandard destructive work... In sum we had to scramble for help from friends to move the items left behind by these movers to complete the task within the deadline allowed by the landlord...In all a harrowing experience....We strongly caution against using these movers . Feel free to reach out to me if you need more evidences and pictures. Please please spare yourself and choose someone else. You would think it would be easy moving a studio three blocks down, with them a real nightmare. Update on Sep 2nd: Sam from Vector Moving Management called today in light of this issue. after I posted the review I was appreciative of the call to discuss exactly on what went wrong? and what could be improved upon moving forward? I have used or have heard of moving services that were horrible and left their customers with scarred memories and bad experiences... Especially if you're looking for local moving companies to do small to medium sized jobs. After my " excellent movers" didn't show up ( on the day of closing) and canceled the job the very next day ( due to rain !!! ) hello !! the world doesn't stop because it's raining that day! I had to find a better moving company... Fast! The industry is full of shady movers who will take the job but after that... you're at their mercy ( esp. if you have a deadline to meet- closing day approaching, rental agreement ending etc)... Get the picture??!! After reading nice reviews I decided to give VectorMovers a try, thought a few times again and then took the chance. To my surprise, I got a confirmation via email after I had left a voice mail for them. Johnny confirmed time of arrival in email and promised there will be no hidden charges other than the tip ( 10-15% ). AND THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED. Ali and his team showed up 30 min before time at the storage place and waited for me... After that the packing started and I was surprised to see they were able to pack the amount of goods and furniture in one truck that had required to pack into two trucks.. Almost two truck loads of stuff into one, that saved me money right there, then we rode to our destination about 50 minutes away and they tirelessly worked to unload unpack and assemble the furniture where it needed to go in the house. They offered the service to assemble the furniture and I accepted and they did help me in great deal to assemble heavy furniture and with care .... to not only put it all together but they put in the missing screws and little parts that I had misplaced before my move. I am very happy with their work, professionalism and courtesy that they extend to carefully move heavy items through narrow passages WITHOUT ANY DAMAGE to the furniture or the walls. !!!!! That is a job well done. They did deserve a 15% Tip, I highly recommend them for your next move and I will remember them in my future moves. I used this company for a move from Jersey City to Hoboken a couple weeks ago and was very happy with their service and professionalism from the get-go. They were able to provide me with a quote via email, which I thought may take a day or two, but was done within a half hour. I spoke and emailed with Everest for the booking and he was professional, courteous, and highly responsive. On moving day, Romeo and a moving team of 2 other guys arrived on time. We had one hiccup on moving day stemming from miscommunication. My building required evidence of insurance from the moving company prior to any work being done. I thought the company had contacted the building for the necessary info, but they were expecting to hear from my building. I'll take responsibility for the misunderstanding since I really should have confirmed that my building got the info. Despite this, the moving company was able to get the insurance info to my building very quickly (not an easy task considering they needed to get in touch with their insurance agent), so there was just a brief delay in starting the move. Once the move started, the team worked quickly and efficiently. They wrapped up my fragile items (two TVs, two big mirrors) securely. I had a large sofa that they had to take apart (in order to get it through the door), which took a lot of time due to my prior movers stripping the screws. But Romeo got it done. Because of the extra time taken to dismantle the sofa, they brought on another guy to expedite the rest of the move, which helped limit the time. Consider I was paying hourly, the extra hand was much appreciated. I moved from an elevator building to a walk up so the move out was much easier than the move in. It was also a really hot day, but the guys worked as quickly as they could. They were very careful with all of my furniture and belongings. They properly reassembled my bed and put everything where it needed to be, always sure to ask me how I wanted things set up. I would definitely recommend using NJ Vector, and they will be my first call the next time I move. read more

We moved out of our 1 bedroom apartment in Manhattan on 8/5/16 to northern NJ. We worked with both Everest at NJ Vector Movers' home office and Romeo Jr. and 3 of his movers. We were thoroughly pleased with the service we received. We researched many moving companies in the Greater NYC area and NJ Vector Movers had the best prices by far. We did not formally book the move until 8/2/16 and were pleased with the company's flexibility and ability to work with us on such short notice. Everest was courteous and professional in all of our conversations and emails (there were several that week) and he answered all of our questions in detail and with promptness. Romeo and his group were originally scheduled to arrive to our building between 8-9 am. When we found out that our building did not technically permit moving until 9 am, Everest was quick to accommodate and move the scheduled arrival time back. Romeo and his group arrived and Romeo came upstairs to introduce himself before the rest of the group came up. Within minutes the hallways were covered and their materials were upstairs. They began wrapping our furniture and moving our boxes immediately and were done within 3 hours. All of our furniture was more than adequately protected and wrapped. We arrived at our storage facility around 1 pm. Romeo and his group arrived within 25 minutes or so and unloaded the truck and packed our items into our storage unit within 35 minutes. We had one final stop at my in-laws house, which is down the road from the storage facility, to drop off 10 or so boxes of clothes. We were done in 5.5 hours and everything went perfectly from start to finish. We cannot wait to work with NJ Vector Movers again when we find our forever home!! We had an incredible moving experience with Vector Moving from beginning to end. I was able to get an estimate quickly and with a high level of accuracy after working with Nick. He was polite, efficient, and knowledgeable. When comparing prices to others in the area, Vector was hands down the best and with strong online reviews it felt like a no brainer. Throughout the time from booking to my move date, Nick reached out to confirm our furniture list and provide helpful moving tips. I also reached out with some questions we had for the team and he was very helpful including getting us our COI for our building. When the moving date came, our team led by Romy was actually early! Have you ever heard of movers being early?? So awesome. Romy was an incredible leader, he came to chat with us first and then directed the team to jump in and get everything going immediately. I was shocked by how quickly and efficiently they were able to get all of the boxes and furniture out of my apartment. On the second part of the move we have a tall and narrow house, and they were able to get our heavy furniture and exercise equipment upstairs with no problem. The guys were so lovely, hardworking, and efficient. Again, I couldn't get over how quickly they were able to pack everything up at the first location and unpack at a more challenging second location. Huge kudos to Romy for running a great team. I couldn't recommend Vector Moving any more. All of my friends and family will be hearing about our amazing experience for any future moves. I have been moving for many times already, and my move never went so perfectly smooth and fast. Very shortly after submitting my quote I was contacted by their representative and in a matter of time my move was scheduled. Three guys and a truck, as it was estimated, arrived right on time, with all needed tools and wrapping material. They started with carrying my boxes into the truck (I had plenty of them). Then they went with wrapping my furniture, and they did it very quickly and professionally. My sofa did not fit into the elevator and they simply took it down by stairs, without arguing about it at all. I was really impressed when I saw how skillfully they arranged my stuff in the truck, cause I was really concerned that everything was going to fit in there. As the truck arrived on my new spot, they quickly parked the truck and started carrying my stuff inside. After guys got all my stuff into the apartment, they quickly started unpacking everything and assembled my bed and my dresser (that did not fit in the door at my old place). They also were so kind to pick all the garbage that left after unpacking my stuff. The last time that I was moving, took almost my whole day, however NJ Trusted movers did it in less than four hours and in the evening I had all my stuff arranged nicely in my apartment, so I did not have to waste another day for it. These guys really provide a great service and will definitely save your time, energy and will leave you without any stressful memories about your move. Vector Movers are by far the most professional movers we ever had. And their price is very competitive. Vector Movers' online reservation and quote system made the communication very easy. On the day of move, they send emails and text messages notifying me the locations of the movers. The movers arrived about 15 mins later than the scheduled time, but Everest called ahead and also send me notes about the delay (their previous move took longer). When they arrive, they were very quick and diligent. So we actually ended up finishing in the right time. We had Romy as our foreman and his other two guys. They were very pleasant to work with and definitely know what they are doing. They wrapped our furniture carefully in multiple layers. We had a huge and heavy leather sofa that didn't fit into the elevator of the new building. Romy and his guys had to carry that sofa through stairs, not just once, but three times! This was because the exit door of the first stair was too narrow so they have to carry the sofa downstairs and through another stair. I almost gave up when they tried half an hour on that door and then half an hour trying to go through the roof exit and at last they had to go downstairs. I literally had no idea what to do. So when they finally went through another stair and it worked, I was super happy. One corner of the sofa leather fell off because of the move. However, compare to the other alternative (move it back, sell it, donate it), this little imperfection was not an issue. We'll definitely recommend them to others! read more

Awesome customer service at Trusted Movers NJ Moving Company!! I never thought that I would review a moving company but these movers worked really hard for that. We had Steve as a foreman and 2 other great and polite fellows. The window of arrival was from 8-10, they were at my doorstep by 7:50 am. That is a huge plus since I did not have to spend 2 hours guessing when they would arrive. As soon as Steve confirmed all of the paperwork with me, they went straight to work. I was moved from Jersey City, NJ to Cherry Hill, NJ, it all took around 6 hours and I moved out of 2 bedroom house. Once they got to our new house in Cherry Hill movers kept working and moving hard. The unloading part was really fast and our movers didn't take a break for the whole process. We offered them a lunch and even after my offer they only had half of it and went back to work. This is what I call commitment. There is no way you can fake hard work. These guys knew what they were doing. I'm still impressed how professional and efficient they were. Every piece of furniture was wrapped and protected safely. Moving is a "full of stress" process and when the company cares about their customers you can be sure you are in right hands. The research that I did for weeks, in finding a good moving company is already made for you. Do not hesitate and look around. we were moving from a 2 bedroom condo to a single family house - but knowing working right up till the last second before closing on both a sale and a purchase within 18 hours of each other definitely added to the pressure. But NJ Vector came highly recommended from friend, and in combination with the Yelp reviews we went with them. communication from Everest was incredibly responsive via email and phone at all times scheduling the movers with only about a week's leeway. Romeo and 3 of his guys showed up bright and early and within 90 minutes, anything that was already boxed or any furniture that could be moved were already on the truck and ready to go. the rest of the guys helped us pack the rest of our lives neatly into boxes and shifted those from our 2nd story condo into the truck, and into our new house. Even after me telling the team that since a lot of our furniture is from ikea, it's okay if some of it doesn't survive. surprisingly, absolutely everything survived, which says to how carefully the team handled our furniture. the absolute efficiency with which Romeo and his team worked was absolutely astounding, and we couldn't be happier with the results. incredibly professional team that we wouldn't hesitate recommending to anyone who needed a mover (as a matter of fact, our seller's agent is also moving, and we've already passed on the info to her as well!!) thank you so much Romeo and team!! we won't forget the promise of you guys coming back for a BBQ!! read more

Long story short, Vector Movers was absolutely incredible. Specifically, Romy and his guys were amazing. I don't like to pay other people to do something I can do myself. I can move myself, so I was reluctant to hire a mover. However, I needed this move to be done quickly and I didn't have many people available to help me. Therefore, I hired Vector Movers. A second ago I said that I can "move myself". While that is true, Vector Movers greatly surpassed anything I'm capable of doing myself regardless of the number of friends willing to help me out. If you take out the travel time, Romy and his crew moved out of my old place and into my new place in 2 hours and 15 minutes flat. This included pulling a couch up over a balcony. Not only was this done insanely fast, they handled all furniture and TVs with the utmost level of care. They meticulously wrapped everything in plastic wrap and then doubled down by using moving blankets. When getting a quote from them I filled out an inventory sheet of what needed to be moved. I tried to make this list as accurate as possible, but we did admittedly have a few extra things at the last minute. When they gave me a quote they gave me a price range of what I should expect to pay. I assumed that we would pay on the high end of the range if not past the range given that we had extra stuff. Nope. I was charged for the bottom end of the range. Simply unbelievable. I will use Vector Movers for every move from now on. read more

UPDATE: Everest resolved my issue by offering a partial packing refund. I don't recommend their packing services. I had an easy move within the same building, and my furniture and boxes were moved in fine, but the packing was disappointing. They spilled an entire bottle of fabric freshener and did not tell me. Worse, they tried to cover it up by using a couple of my cloth items to sop up the mess. I discovered later that a bunch of toiletry items were soaked. I also told Yorik the foreman that I had had a bad experience with my previous packers and to please properly pack my items right way up etc. I was disappointed to find that fragile desk items and memorabilia were still packed sideways or not wrapped. All my shoes were ltossed in a pile and not even kept together in pairs. The moving team wore face coverings but they did not wear gloves (despite me being told that they would). They left behind some items in my old apartment that I had to pick up and bring over myself (a pot and pan, doormat, cleaning cloth wet from the spill, etc.). They also didn't label the boxes until I asked them to. I asked for a picture box (for art) in my inventory but they didn't use one. Overall, just a lack of attention to detail. In terms of pros, the moving team was efficient and very friendly, and I appreciated the fast response time getting a quote and the option to use email, text, or the web portal for communication. read more

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I recently moved from Glen Rock, NJ (ground level pickup) to Hoboken, NJ (75 foot walk from van to elevator) and used Vector Movers for our move. Found Vector via Yelp and reached out for a quote, and got a call from Tony within a day. The quote shared by Tony had no hidden fees - I kept adding on the # of large boxes needed and Tony was compliant and kept the quote the same. Tony called numerous times to confirm everything was in place and double check everything the week before the move. We asked the movers to come to Glen Rock between 10 and 10:30 am - we reserved the elevator at 12pm, assuming they'd pack up everything by 11 and make the 40 minute trek to Hoboken. The movers showed up at 10am on the dot, securely wrapped everything, and move out 18 large boxes, 2 sofas, and a bed in exactly 30 minutes. They got to Hoboken at 11:15 and moved everything in by 12:30. They even put the furniture in each room for us. They were delicate, organized, and very polite. Cannot recommend them enough, I will be using them in the future when needed! Our 18 large boxes were somewhat prepacked which made it easy for them to move. So I recommend that you box up everything yourself to save time and money on the move. Their quote was $200-$300 cheaper then everyone else - I was skeptical at first but Tony was fantastic in walking me through everything to ensure I was in good hands. read more

100% smooth and timely moving experience. First movers I've ever hired. I'm usually a U-Haul guy, but I'll never go back now... My wife and I moved from our Union City apartment to our new home in Westchester. Arrival time was estimated between 8-9am. Ali and the guys showed up RIGHT on time at 8am sharp. We had up packed our own boxes, and the guys came in with their wheeled loading boxes, did a quick sweep of the place, and got right to work. They moved 3br 2ba in 2 hours and these guys HUSTLED the whole time. We were very please with their pace--no dawdling ever. They disassembled our wooden furniture, wrapped it, and the truck was filled very efficiently. They got on the road right when Ali estimated they would then arrived at the new home about 5 minutes after our small car across the GW bridge. They were very fast to unload. My wife was at the back of the truck showing them which room each box/item goes into. Found out at the end that there is a 5% credit charge, so I asked Ali if I could write a check to Cash and he agreed. Tolls were included on the receipt as expected. We tipped the recommended 20%-25% in cash to the guys, and they hit the road without incident. Completely recommend these guys. Only hiccup was a language barrier with the movers, but Ali (main man) handled anything that came up very quickly. They are all hard hard workers. read more

I had a great moving experience thanks to Vector Movers, and if I could give them more than 5 stars I would! I transferred to a different apartment in my building, so I had 5 days to pack everything and schedule a moving service. Luckily Vector Movers was able to come the morning of my move and help get everything situated in the new place. Their scheduled arrival time was between 8am and 9am. They came around 8:45 (which worked out better for me because I wasn't able to get keys to the new apartment until 9am) and had all of our boxes and furniture moved into the new place by 10:30am. They had even moved some things that I had been planning on moving myself after they left (the way I had packed them didn't completely follow their moving guidelines, but since the move was happening within the building they offered to help me out. I wouldn't expect them to move those items, definitely check their website to make sure that you're packing things per their moving tips). I was so stressed out leading up to the move, but they put me at ease with the speed and care that they put into moving my things. At some point they had complimented me on how well I had packed, but honestly all of the compliments should go to them because of how great a job they did. I have done several movers and these guys are the best. Eric and his crew were promptly on time and did a splendid job. I was moving a 2 BHK jersey city 27th floor to a 2BHK in secaucus and these guys did it in a breeze. To add on Eric helped us dispose our old furnitures ( Sofa and tv tables ) even though he dint have to. Also the estimate was 6 hours and Eric and crew completed things in like 5 hours. As usual the apartment where we move out started creating problems and they sorted it out efficiently, stood firm and did the job. The moving in apartment distance between truck and the apartment was quite far and Eric still managed to complete within time. Infact Eric closed the work before he completed to make sure we dont get overcharged because of the distance. And they drove to the new place so quickly without wasting a minute. You cannot find a single fault in the way they work They are extremely kid friendly, and when my kid wanted a toy to play while moving, one of eric's crew members left it even though it was kind of disturbing the movement. Double thumbs up for understanding as its a big thing to do a move with an infant. Dont even think about any other movers if you can find Eric. I have referred them to several ppl and wouldnt hesitate to just call back Eric when i move! read more

I can't say enough good things about Vector moving. Friends had recommended them to me and I am so glad I went with them! Tanya keeps you in the loop via e-mail leading up to the move and if you have any question or concerns she is always there to answer your questions! On the day of the move Nikita and his two guys were amazing! They promptly arrived at my apartment in Hoboken during the estimated scheduled arrival time. They sent me a text and a live map of where the truck is the entire way! Nikita came up first to talk about everything and to make sure they gave me any additional charges that might incur upfront based on what I had to move before they started working. My quote was right on point so no surprise charges! He was super honest about everything and I really appreciated that! He and his crew of 2 other guys were efficient and incredibly professional. They wrapped everything so carefully and were super gentle with the surroundings while moving in and out of both residences. In total the move took about 3 hrs., including the travel time. They were quick and very reasonably priced. I highly recommend them to anyone looking to move! Thanks again!
