I went to the salon yesterday for a much needed pedicure. It was my first time there. I had to wait about 25 min in the chair for someone to start my pedicure. Then they took forever to even do the pedicure. One customer came in after me and left before me. When the lady was finishing up, she started to pull my leggings down. I told her to stop since they had mesh and I didn't want her to rip them. She continued to pull really hard after I kept saying "stop stop". I get to the car and notice that she didn't do a very good job cleaning up my nails and even noticed that one toe wasn't even painted fully. Luckily I brought my own polish. It wasn't worth the $35 and I will never go here again. Last night when I went to bed, one of my toe nails was snagging on my sheets. I had to file it down since it was so sharp. I shouldn't have to fix the pedicure after paying that much. read more

First time going here. We stopped in at 9:40, it opens at 9, they told us to come back in 30 Minutes. In total we were there for about 4 hours. Once we got back, at least 4 new people were getting there nails done ahead of us who were walk-ins also. Once there we waited two hours to get our nails done. After they started i was not asked about which type of nails I would like, they just applied the acrylics. After I simple said I would be getting a type of French tip. They proceeded to try and give me a French tip where the white from the plastic tip was showing, so it would have went from natural nail to white plastic to black french tips. They ended up not being able to fix them and painted my all my nails just black The person I was with also had to get her nails redone twice because the first time they did not turn out right and felt bad. I feel bad leaving a review because the people were pretty nice. They offered us food and drinks. read more

This salon is amazing!! I'm immediately greeted at the door every time and helped to choose how I'd like my nails. The employees here are so friendly and do a perfect job. They offer hot tea and other drinks while you enjoy your visit. It's calm and relaxing to be in the salon with the soothing music and luxurious feel. Veda Nails is clean and if you get the right nail technician you just might come back. I on the other hand will not. Two weeks ago, my daughter in law and I went to have a pedicure and agreed to get the same pedicure, the price kept changing as well as the service being offered. She got the deluxe treatment for more money and I got the basic. The Pedicurist was new and made my toes bleed. I had to tell her to stop. I, we, were not smiling when we left. Nina did an amazing job on my nails and this is my second time getting a gel manicure done here. Nina listened to what I wanted (a more natural look with a little pink but I wanted a more translucent look instead of bold color) and we found the color that worked for what I wanted. I also wanted to change my nails from oval to square and to shorter and she checked in with me during the manicure process to make sure that I liked the length and shape of my nails. This was my first time coming to Nina as I have always gone to Lynn which she always does a great job but with calling in at the time they open and pretty much being a walk-in (no appointment / come in right after calling because they weren't busy at open) I went with someone new whom was available right away. I would say this was a great first experience with a different nail technician. I highly recommend going to Nina; she has been working here for over 2 years and really is fast and efficient. I had no issues with being cut or experiences any pain and she was fast, removed my prior gel paint that was grown out and needing to be refreshed and did the new gel nails all within 1 hour. I couldn't have asked for anything more. I will be back and as I said both Nina and Lynn have been great in my experience. Pedicures are great here too and yes it may be a bit pricey compared to other places but the quality is there and you get the fantastic service which I think is worth the price. There are different types of pedicures that give you more services like hot rock massage but the basic pedicure does the paraffin wax dip which is a bare minimum need for me. The first time I did the pedicure I did the deluxe as I needed more care for my heels and dry skin and it was very helpful for my feet health. If you are experiencing issues with your toes being in pain, heels or callus issues this is a great solution. Treat yourself and do the self care, you won't regret it! read more

My eyebrows are a pretty natural shape and I just need them cleaned up now and then between tweezing, so I told her to just clean up the bottoms and also that I have sensitive skin so to use minimal wax or I will get a rash. She said she understood and she would do that. I was really surprised how quick it was. When she handed me the mirror, I didn't even take it from her hand. I just layed there in horror at my botched eyebrows. I started whispering to her that she waxed them off and that's not what I asked for and she immediately got defensive and upset with me, and telling me I told her to do that. She even took the dirty strips out of the trash to show them to me and told me it was my fault. I paid $10 and went to my car. After looking at them for a few minutes, I decided to go back in and explain that I was upset and wanted a refund. I was trying to be quiet because the room is really small and there were other ladies getting their nails done, but it inevitably caused a scene... long story short, the lady who waxed me started yelling at me in front of the other customers, calling me a liar, told me it was my fault, she even told me "ask any of these people in here this is how you looked when you came in here" and that "they all saw me and know I'm a liar". I was horrified and humiliated. I basically had to demand a refund and I left feeling so awful about the whole experience. When I came on here to review it, I saw another girl had the same exact experience, so listen to us ladies! Don't get waxed here unless you want tiny tadpole shaped brows that you have to fill in for the next 6 months. read more

Yay!!! I have finally found a permanent pedicure and eyebrow waxing spa! The facility is very clean, the ladies who work here are super friendly, and actually know what they are doing!! My 3 BIGGEST pet peeves when going to get a pedicure are: being rushed, having additional services shoved down my throat, and being made to feel like the entire staff is talking about me in a language I can't understand. NONE OF THESE THINGS HAPPEN HERE!! They serve lemonade, ice water, and iced tea for you to enjoy while relaxing, and the massage chairs are fabulous! My overall experience while there was a positive one. The lady that did my nails was very nice and really took her time. I was very happy with my nails when I left. Unfortunately, not even a week later- five days to be exact, the nail polish started to bubble up at the tips and peel off! Whenever I have gotten my nails done at other places, I can count on them lasting typically three weeks! $35.00 plus a tip is ridiculous for a nail job that only lasts five days! read more

I loved this salon. Tina is awesome and welcoming. It started off really strong. The spa is clean and the packages are reasonably priced for the service. This is NOT your typical nail salon, it's a nail spa. There is a Big difference between the two. Unfortunately, there seems to be an issue with turnover in staff. I was a regular, but stopped going because the staff that took pride in their work are now gone. Rachel does not put a high value on her quality of work and I keep getting stuck with her. So, I stopped going. 100% of the time I get gel by Rachel, it peels within 48 hours. (That's not product, that's caused by a tech who rushes.) After three tries with her, I'm done. Her work ethic is not aligned with the vision for the spa, as explained by Tina, the owner. Rachel works like a high volume nail tech...similar to the experience one receives at a $20 salon. Noteworthy techs include May and/or Lily. I heard Lily is no longer there. I think there was a guy name Tom who was also on point. I would recommend this place to others, I just prefer not to interact with the one tech and she works on the days I am free to visit. read more

I had the worst experience in my life here, I will never go back to the salon. A lady named Lynn who works there refused to unlock the door so I could leave. And grabbed my arm twice to try and cut my nails off. She was doing a pedicure while she was trying to do my nails and kept going back and fourth so I didn't even get the correct nail treatment. I was basically held hostage in their salon. I had to bribe her with more money just so she would let me out of the salon. I not only paid her but left with these terrible nails I had to take off myself. She spent quite a while on my nails which through the whole entire process I kept explaining to her I did not like the way they were coming out I would like to leave and come back another day and have someone else do my nails. She cut me on three fingers and almost all of my cuticles had acrylic covering them so I knew when they started to grow out it was going to pull on my skin and hurt me. Before she painted them I said I do not like them I would like to just leave she said no let me paint them you'll see so I let her put one coat and I immediately stood up and said I'm sorry I'm not going to let you finish I don't like them and I don't even want to pay for them at this point. But she did spend a little bit of time on them so I was going to pay her for what she did do. She became very upset and said not only did I have to pay for them but she grabbed my arm very aggressively and said she needed to cut my nails off. I said no she could file them all the way down to almost nothing but she was not going to cut my nails off because then I would have to go somewhere else and pay for a full new set which I was not willing to do since I walked in with nails that only needed a small fill. I called to report this to the manager he then began apologizing and he asked me to come back so they could do my nails only if I took our yelp reviews down he then told me he's had very many problems lately with this lady named Lynn and was thinking about firing her anyways that he would do so if I took my yelp review down. He was basically trying to bribe me to take down my yelp review because he knew it was a bad look on their business. From my personal experience here I absolutely hated it and I will never be returning nor will anyone I know. In the end she took the money and I had to file a police report. The only reason this has 1 star is because I can't post it without a rate. read more
