I come here about once every 2 months for an eyebrow waxing service. I haven't tried the nail service because I go to another location close by. Shared parking lot with other popular businesses which could make it difficult to park close to the front at times. I came here because i needed a good waxing for my brows and wanted to try a different place. I came here and it wasn't crowded but they had a few customers getting service. One I was taken back, the area looked clean and the service was pretty quick. I love the way they cleaned up my eyebrows. As of now, this is the only place that does a great job with my brows. Veda Nails did the most amazing job with my nails!!! I have always relied on them and always gone back every time. I'm very loyal even with the new ownership. I have to say the new ownership has taken it to a higher level! They were recommended this cat eye nail polish that had caught my eye, and even a second polish to make it pop more if! Can I tell you it was like magic on my fingernails! They even used a magic wand! (Not really a magic wand, this cool stick with light but at the end of the day isn't that what a magic wand is?) they massage your hands at the end of any service. What else can I say? They just really are stepping up their game! Can't wait to go back and get it done again, but my nails last like four weeks! I was at the end of their day as well and they still gave me their 110%! This place used to be my go-to pedi! Loved the deluxe! Have been going here for 12+ years. Turn over is expected, no one is there I've had before. My last two experiences have been lack luster. Last time ended up with smudged nails due to no longer having the toe nail dryer, so I planned to wait longer next time. Well I went back today, poor guy who was helping me could not find a red sparkle color that was wasn't dried up or empty. Took the dude forever, stock of colors is not being maintained. Then when I was done I was sitting waiting for nails to dry. There were plenty of open spaces and less than 5 min after finishing a lady comes over and lifts the arm to my chair and tells me I'm done. No way my nails are dry at this point! I was very careful and managed not to smudge this time, but it was a very disappointing treatment. read more

I have been here twice- the new owner Anna completely redid the spa and cleaned it up- new decorations etc. I get dip gel and it lasted for over 3 weeks. SO glad I gave this place a chance. I really really do not like this strip mall. I can not think of a good reason beyond it looks sketch to me and there is nothing attractive nor any shop I would go to in this strip mall. Glad I was wrong. The ole don't judge a book(shop) by it's cover(stripmall o.O ?!) got me again. My endless quest to find a nail salon that has nice people, lasting nail polish(my expensive nice place I went to lasted me 4 days before 3 nails chipped horribly,) and a moderate price so that I can make this a habit without feeling guilty about it. (I live to feel guilty about spending money.. not that it stops me. *le sigh*) I get the gel/shellac(They have Opi too) nail polish, of which the colors are displayed on a sample nail wheel so you can see what the colors are like out of the bottle. They have FULL body massage chairs. What I mean by this is that the chairs have leg massaging that feels awesome! I felt comfortable here with these very nice people. TLDR: Full size reclining massage chairs. Regular massage chairs on the pedicure stations. Nice people. Not pushy. Clean. Guarantee their work for 2 weeks and will fix your nail job for free if your polish chips etc.. Don't let the strip mall fool you. Easily the best in the immediate area. read more

I do not recommend this place. The tools are not sanitized at all. When the lady start to cut my cuticles , I saw other people's cuticles on the cuticle cutter. I had a French manicure for my wedding. It was the most unflattering French manicure I've ever done. I kept telling her I want a small tip and to get rid of the corners to make it look less round. But she only fixed one nail and the rest of them are still with a thick white tip that circles around the the nail. I hate it , went to another place immediately to redo it. DO NOT GET YOUR NAILS DONE HERE!!! If I was able to give this place 0 stars I would. I was in town with my grandma and she treated my sister and me to getting pedicures and our nails done and she had an appointment for us (this is important). The pedicures started out perfectly fine. Near the end, the worker chipped my toe, noticed it, and then did nothing to fix it until I spoke up about it. Once we were done the same worker put tips on both my sister and me and was planning on just letting us sit there after we had waited 30 minutes. There was another customer who came in and they were planning on starting her nails before ours until I spoke up, at this point we had been there for almost 2 hours. While getting my nails done the worker was EXTREMELY rough on my nails, I have cuts on almost every finger. There was paint all over my nails and fingers, each nail was a different shape and told me I was done. Once we were checking out 3 hours after our scheduled appointment they attempted to uncharge my grandma for services already included in their prices. The man checking us out would not budge on the prices and in total only took $10 off due to the quality of my nails, In reality, it should've been $20, I wasn't asking for my nails to be free or anything. I have since had 4 nails break off due to the shit show that was on my hands, I got them done not even 5 days ago. Best recommendation, stay away. read more

Let me first tell you that if you're looking for someone that doesn't speak to you, doesn't care about what you truly want or a place with terrible music, don't go here. It wouldn't be for you. I love my nails, which I usually have done by Kevin, and they are perfect. I have had some service (eyebrows, pedi., or even a fill) done by every one else there, and again, PERFECT! They are friendly, professional and you pay for the service you receive. I am so picky on customer service. You can tell if you look at my other reviews. I have no problem telling EVERYONE I know how much I love them. Still not convinced? I make the drive from O'Fallon, MO down to Valley Park/ Twin Oaks just for them. This continues to be my favorite nail salon in the area. They recently got new pedicure chairs (which are awesome) and I their staff always does an outstanding job. I used to do gel manicures every two weeks, which were great, but recently tried their new dipping powder. Talk about perfection... I just did it for the 3rd time and am in love with it. It's better than gel in my opinion, stays longer and never chips/peels. The appearance is similar to gel, but it feels lighter and looks more natural in my opinion. While this isn't a super fancy salon, I can honestly say I've never had a bad job and wouldn't go anywhere else. If you want something special, treat yourself to the hot stone pedicure an enjoy some extra massage time on your legs. read more

If I could give 0 stars, I would! They close at 7, and I called ahead and the man said he could take my appointment at 7. When I showed up, the man who did my nails was rude and rushed me. He filed my nails down to nubs, and the color did not even cover my full nails. The nail counter had nail shaving and powders from the previous person. Gross. I went back in to see if I could get a refund or get them redone because they looked awful. The guy argued with me and wouldn't give me a refund or redo them. I finally found what I had been missing! I have been to so many nail salons around the city and no one even comes close to doing the job they do here. They do the best gel manicures in town! They have lots of choices and I especially love the gel manicure color with the mathcing color for toes too. The staff is friendly. This salon is by far the best! I saw the 'one star' rating that someone recently posted and was inclined to post myself. A couple of things to note...it is a GOOD THING when salons are busy...it is a direct reflection on the product that is being delivered. In addition, not all technicians are skilled at acrylic nails. Rather than sit you with someone not as skilled to deliver the best product, BT Nails will ensure you are served by the appropriate technician. This is likely why the other reviewer indicated other people walked in and were helped before her. I'd wager than not all salons would do this...but, BT Nails cares about the results of the product they deliver. About BT Nails The product--I get gel-manicures, pedicures, and at times, gel-pedicures. My nails last 3 weeks...and would last longer if they didn't grow-out! I have NEVER had these kind of results at other salons. The people-the salon is a family experience. It is managed by Kevin and his wife, Vi, who are both technicians. Libby, Vi's sister, is also a technician and who I go to on a regular basis. Other family members work there, too. Kevin and Vi just had a baby, Aaron...he is too cute! I'm just trying to paint the picture...this is not your average salon where you go in and make you average semi-conversation talk...you get to know the people...and the people are fabulous! Libby is even teaching me some Vietnamese! I have lived in area for YEARS and have been to all the nail salons in the area. Of the other salons in the direct vicinity, VIP nails is terrible...they upcharge you on everything w/o getting your 'buy in' before doing it, so you are surprised when you pay and realize the extras you were charged w/o knowing it. Nail Time--is nothing special. Years ago, with the original ownership, they were good. I went back a couple of years ago, before discovering BT Nails, and was not impressed. Sure, I was quick to get service, but it wasn't anything special and the nails did not last long. I've been to the place at Big Bend/Sulphur Springs (I can't recall the name)...it was ok, I don't have anything bad to say about it...but I also wasn't inclined to write a review about it either.
