1st off I've never had vegan icecream, my error; thought it was a dairy icecream shop. $8 small cup of banana fosters. It was tasty. No refined sugar used, dates are used to sweeten it. It wasn't bad but I'm not sure if I would try it again. Very good customer service. Cute little shop with quite a few flavors to offer.

I've been to one other place like this and really enjoyed it, but this one is even better. First of all, it's tucked away on a charming little street filled with shops and cafés. The menu offers a wide variety of unique flavors,We decided on the Matcha Lavender and the Mango Berry. The Mango Berry tasted very homemade and fresh, with real mango and berry flavor and a touch of syrup that worked nicely. The Lavender Matcha was even better--super rich and creamy, and best of all, not overly sweet like at many ice cream shops. The service was fine, and I loved the design of the place; it felt like a cozy wooden café you'd find in a resort town.

Dairy free + gluten free HEAVEN! I was so excited to try Vedder's! The staff was super friendly, and I loved that you could customize your ice cream cookie sandwich with whatever flavor you choose. The ice cream sandwich was HUGE, so my husband and I definitely could have shared one, but we were both excited to try our own flavors.

We go to Vedders every once in a while because my daughter is lactose intolerant. The ice cream is good and we like the ingredients they use. We usually get scoops but this time we ordered a pint. When we got home, the pint wasn't even filled to the top. Also, there was a whole air pocket inside the pint. My guess that there was only 2/3 of the pint filled. I emailed Ashley but have not received a response so I'm posting here. Just wanted clarification so we know not to order a pint again if this is the usual pint they sell and for everyone else to know what to expect.

Janae is so sweet and the ice cream is all gluten free and vegan. She's very cute and extremely generous with samples so I love coming in here.

The ice cream here is absolutely delicious, the ice cream sandwich is even better! You could never tell that they are gluten-free and good for you, which makes it even better! Service was wonderful, and my entire family enjoyed it. Our favorite, ice cream shop and San Clemente !

I had been to vedders once before and was impressed with their gluten free, vegan, and refined sugar free ice creams & cookies. The cookies are ESSENTIAL Equally as special as their yummy treats is their mission! "Vedder discovered that cane sugar causes the brain to rot - sugar addiction, decreased cognition, tension, depression, dementia, and memory loss were side effects of its consumption. She began working on her vegan recipes, sweetened with dates and maple syrup, right away. Vedder's husband, Justin, was diagnosed with young-onset Parkinson's in 2014 and developing healthy eating plans has been crucial to slowing the progression of the disease. Each ice cream flavor caters to his plan as a limited ingredient dessert option." A portion of their sales goes to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's research too! I hope you'll all have a chance to visit to savor the treats and show support

I found exceptional sushi. Everything was exceptional! The food, the ambience, the merch, and the service was outstanding. I complimented the owner Levi on their aprons, it turns out that his father used to work for Levi's and it's a tribute to his family. Every single touch of this business is a work of art and has so much intentionality behind it. All the sushi was incredibly tender, and it was so beautifully placed on top of its original taste and feel. As a brand ambassador, I rarely wear brands at all outside of work. Their merch was so cool that I got the beanie and the sweatshirt. I've never done that at any business in my life. The ambience is gorgeous both inside and out, and the crowd are mainly locals. It's such an awesome place, and I would probably go to any of those places outside and try them all. I can't wait to have an excuse to go back to dark magic sushi, it's one of the best sushi places I've ever been to

The first move is you walk in and order at the counter, the line moves quickly and the girl who took our order was very knowledgeable and friendly. You can tell these employees are trained well. They give you a number and you grab a table. We were there on a Saturday night at 6:45 and we had no problems getting a table. Pro tip: Order beers & appetizers at the counter and then hang and have a couple of drinks and order dinner with your waitress. The food: Tallow Fries - Must order, the best fries you'll ever have. With the homemade ketchup good lawd! We got 2 baskets for 4 of us. We should have gotten 3 baskets. Coastal smash - 2 Pattie's, no seed oil sauce, pickles, onions, cheese on a fabulous brioche style bun. My wife LOVED this. Brisket tacos - An absolute winner. Smokey, salty, tangy, plenty of umami with cilantro and pickled onions. Fire! The only thing i would have loved was some sort of salsa. Maybe there was and I missed it. Caesar salad wrap chicken - this was a sleeper hit. My daughter is a Caesar salad conissuer and this was right up her ally. And with avocado oil Caesar dressing, no garbage! Comeon. Grilled fish tacos - very fresh and good. I think there was a sauce but these were dry. It needed more sauce and some salsa. Mind you the quality was there, so I had no problem eating them. But they were a bit bland honestly. 10/10 friendly service 10/10 easability if ordering and seating. 9/10 Food This will become one of our favorite family spots no doubt. Thank you Coastal Cowboy for caring enough to be seed oil free and health conscious with your cuisine.

Rose Cafe & Donuts has probably got the best breakfast sandwiches in San Clemente, although, I have to admit, this was really the first time I had ever "checked out" San Clemente longer than a pit stop for gas. As my mom and I were "passing through" taking this l-o-n-g-e-r rest stop from driving on the 5 (we were on our way to San Diego), we decided to get something more substantial to eat. Anyway, you have to go here. Rose Cafe's food seemed quite popular, considering there was a constant stream of customers ordering, and everyone noticeably ordered something different. I really liked the outdoor tables and chairs, located right outside the eatery. It definitely allowed us to enjoy the cool ocean breeze, even though you can't see the water. All in all, Rose Cafe rocks. We were glad to have found this cute place, tucked into a shopping center, no less. Overall, the food was awesome, and the location was super-convenient.

Everything worked well together, and omg that Cheese pull. What this place IS, IS because of the details. This comment completely derailed my order decision-making process, but in a way that felt supportive, if not academically rigorous, maybe even data driven. So I ordered something with ranchero sauce.
