S'mores ice cream with waffle cone

I cannot wait to go back to orange country creamery. It is a small ice cream shop located next to San Clemente beach. They only have outdoor seating but it's the perfect treat to walk around the beach with. The employee was really nice and let us try free samples before ordering. We went with the s'mores ice cream that was one of the best ice creams I've ever had. It wasn't overpoweringly sweet and had marshmallows mixed in but they weren't stale or hard. They had lots of unique flavors i haven't seen at other ice cream shops as well. 10/10 definitely check this place out if you're craving a sweet treat.

They have the most delicious affogato. It's a generous scoop of whatever ice cream flavor you want (I recommend vanilla) and two shots of their espresso. Warning: it is addictive. You might order another one! Also it was hard to just pass by this ice cream shop. The smell of the waffles that they make in-house was just too tantalising to ignore. The mixture of that butter with sugar subjected to hot iron was the scent that lured us all in. The staff is so lovely too. We had such a nice conversation with them - these kids have a beautiful disposition. The ice cream sells itself but these folks are what incentivize customers to keep coming back!

They had so many appealing flavors and the consistency of the ice cream was just right. The employee that helped us was very patient and let us try a few before we settled on banana nutella and coffee. We also really liked the oreo one. Highly recommend checking this place out if you're in the area, we will definitely be back!

Found this little gem after having lunch nearby and their display case of ice cream immediately caught my attention. Everything looked so creamy and freshly made! The lady was quick to greet us and asked if we wanted to try any of the flavors. THE CREAM. - Chocolate Hazelnut Swirl. Obviously sweet, with these crunchy little wafer bits that add textural contrast to this creamy ice cream. I got a small cup and it was the perfect amount for me (not piled on high). THE PARKING. Street parking and there's small parking lots if you drive into one of the alleyways. Read the signs as there are time limitations. THE RETURN. Yes! I got to sample their blueberry cheesecake (limited edition) and it's so good! I need to go back to try ALL the flavors.

After an amazing dinner, I was in the mood for ice cream. I remember walking by Orange County and saw they were closing soon. It's a cute little shop at the top of Del Mar. There were some teens in front of me who were all very funny. The young woman working was really nice and offered samples of the many choices, but I already knew what I wanted. I got a small with banana bread ice cream and the mango papaya sorbet. Both of these played off each other so well! It also connected me to my Hawaiian roots...LOL! Little did I know that they were both vegan and very good! Companies are getting better at producing vegan products that have actual flavor. These two did not disappoint! Definitely worth checking out! I look forward to coming back if in the area!

I came here with my wife for a post-lunch dessert. We ordered a double scoop with banana nutella crunch and cherry swirl. Both scoops of ice cream were creamy, rich, indulgent with distinctive tastes. Yummy! Lots of other great flavors were available, which makes me want to go back to try them. The woman who served us was very nice. The ambiance was terrific. The inside of the store is charming and nicely designed. My wife and I sat at a comfortable table outside, enjoyed the ice cream and people watched on a beautiful day. With all the restaurant options nearby it's nice to have a purely dessert option like Orange County Creamery.

Delicious ice cream! The first thing I look for in a good ice cream is the texture and creaminess. And I was happy with the two flavors I had: Banana Bread Tahini Swirl and Cherry Swirl. They were rich and creamy and love the chocolate bits in the Cherry Swirl. The ice cream spot is located in a nice section of Avenida Dal Mar where you can people watch and enjoy an ice cream!

Was looking for a treat on my walk back after dinner and despite the brisk weather decided to stop in to try some samples. I fell in love with their limited edition seasonal Apple Pie flavor (and you will too!!!) Such a rich, creamy base with delectable chunks of real apple pie. Service was quick and friendly and there are some tables outside to pause and enjoy your treat or continue your fun walk along Del Mar!

Food - your local creamery shop with a few unique flavors. I got the ube. Service - nobody was at the store at the time of visit late Sunday night so it was as it should be. Helped out fine. Ambiance - quaint little shop Verdict - good to visit and try out at least once when in SC.

After having a five star experience yesterday at the Dana Point location, I came here since I was in town. Today I had the Coffee chocolate, chocolate chip, and Oreo shake. They drizzled chocolate syrup inside the cup before pouring the shake inside. They also put whipped cream on top. This shake was so yummy on this hot day. The young lady working was so nice too. Excellent service and ice cream. I'll be back.

Whoa... I live near Del Mar and never seen this business until my boyfriend ordered me some. WOWWW!! The vanilla root beer float was hitting my nostalgia so damn hard! Again, my boyfriend ordered this via doordash and didn't melt nor got damaged during the delivery. Very well packed and secure. But enough about the packaging, the ice cream, creamery (Well duh, that's their name) LOL, and with the IBC root beer...10/10 If you love Dr. Pepper or A&W (We don't have an A&W near OC) so this will do. I'm definately coming back here but to eat in and not get it delivery still good but I have a feeling it's going to be BETTER. I was watching TRON: Legacy while eating this and ya'll GIRL DINNER I can't wait to actually go here, probably after getting food at Min's Dumpling.

All I can say is Yum ... always changing the selection choices and consistently good. Added plus of gluten free waffle cones.

Ice cream itself tasted fine, nothing exceptional. But the portions are weak. My friends single scoop in a cup looked like a kids size? She double checked with the cashier and she confirmed and charged for a single scoop at $5-6. The single scoop in the cone was a bit better, but I was charged $1 extra for a vegan scoop. It's basically a sherbet lol so that's ridiculous but gotta get your money where you can I guess. Definitely not coming back

My friend arrived a few minutes before me and sat down to look at a paper menu while waiting. When I arrived, I was about to sit down to look at the menu myself before deciding what to order when the owner approached us and told us we could not sit down unless we ordered at the front first. What was disappointing wasn't the policy itself, it was the way it was communicated. We weren't greeted, asked if we had any questions, or offered any assistance. Instead, we were immediately told we couldn't be seated until we had ordered. After I placed my order, I asked if I could now sit down, and she said yes. I then politely clarified whether customers are ever allowed to sit before ordering, and she replied, "No." Since there were no signs explaining this policy, I asked for her name. She responded, "You don't need my name. I'm the owner," and then said, "Do you want the flatbread pizza or not? Otherwise, you can leave." I found this interaction unnecessarily rude and unwelcoming. As the owner, first impressions matter, and this was not the type of customer service I would expect from a business. It's unfortunate because the employees we interacted with were very kind and courteous. I hope this feedback encourages a more welcoming approach to future customers.
