Booked the 75 minute facial non--surgical facelift, not so much. I was asked to arrive 15 minutes early. Not sure what the extra 15 minutes were for, but I was greeted on time and the technician was friendly. The waiting area is not very spa like, 4 hair stations, straight back, hard, wood chairs, kind of hot, no spa lighting, music or fragrance, all in all kind of generic. The facial was nothing special and the technician left a lot of dried goop on my skin. This facial didn't leave my skin soft and glowy like I have come to expect from a good facial. But I might go back and try one of the Ayurvedic treatments. I think the Ayurvedic treatments may be the focus. read more

I just had an amazing two hours at the spa with Seema getting a facial and hot stone massage. It was so relaxing and I felt absolutely fabulous when I left there. This place really deserves its 5-star rating. I was down from Philadelphia visiting a friend who lives in the area. A week prior, we had decided to get facials, but the place she knew about was booked. I found Vedic on Yelp and we decided to give it a try. So glad we did. This is probably one of the best (if not the best) facials I've ever had. Jay really took the time to talk to me about my skin concerns and explain to me what she was going to do during the facial. The facial itself was very relaxing. Heated bed, nice music, and a nice long facial massage. She gave me recommendations about my skin, without trying to sell me any products. Sent my mom here for an early and much deserved early mothers day gift. After much research in the area for massages, I thought Vedic was the best choice- and they were! My mom received a full body massage and an anti-aging facial (50 min each) and LOVED IT! I don't have much to compare to, but I thought the prices were good, too. Came as walk in. There was no one else in the salon. But shortly after she started her scheduled appointment person came in. She should have said from the beginning that she was unable to provide the service. Instead, the threader was rushing so much that the thread kept breaking, at least 10 times. The threader seemed rude from the beginning. She left one eyebrow significantly thinner where wider eyebrows were desired. At that point the threader said " I have a next appointment now". I insisted on correction as the eyebrows were clearly of different shape and width. As a result the eyebrows are much thinner than desired and still poorly shaped. Additionally, there tiny scabs on the eyelids left from her aggressive and rushing technique. Initially the payment of $9 was asked. But the she changed her mind and said she will not take a payment if there is 100% satisfaction. This all took place in front of another customer. My feeling is that she was just attempting to demonstrate her commitment to customer service to that client as she was short and defensive with me from the start. The scabs will take time to heal and the eyebrows will need to grow out. The experience is still upsetting. read more

I tried getting a massage from this place about a year ago, and there was nothing remarkable about it. I went again last weekend and was surprised that it had greatly improved now. For one, I think the masseuse I had is much better. And the place itself has a more relaxing vibe now. read more

I had one of the best massages of my life here. I was completely relaxed and all my sore spots were worked out, but it didn't hurt to get there and I didn't feel bruised the next day. My siblings and I decided to surprise our parents with a scavenger hunt that led them to vedic spa and then from there dinner. The service was phenomenal they participated with our surprise and scavenger hunt and where just as excited as we were to tend to our parents. Our parents loved their massages, they said they were great and relaxing and would love, love to go back again. After their lovely couple massage they were given tea on a tray with our last clue which led them to dinner. Ms jay kept in contact with me from the time my parents arrived to let us know they were there till the time they left to let us know they were on the way to the next destination. If I could give 0 stars I would. Let me explain. ..I bought a Groupon coupon for 90 minute facial/massage combo. When I called to make the apt I couldn't get in for 3 weeks or so, which was a bit annoying. Then the day b4appt, they call me to tell me the y want to move my apt to a morning time, which I couldn't do. I told them that wouldn't work, so they tried to put me in at a later time the next day, which was fine. At the very end of the call, they said we'll see you tomorrow for your facial and hot stone massage. I said, whoa, wait, I expressly requested Swedish. The truth comes out then...no licensed massage therapists on staff. FALSE ADVERTISING at its best. I tried calling back several weeks later to rebook, to which they responded they'd call me back. Waited about 3 hours, and guess what, no return call. I'm filling a claim with better business bureau for falsify advertising massage when they didn't have licensed therapists on staff. read more
