First time at Cider Lab…read more It was a warm Saturday afternoon. As I entered - I noted it was rather warm inside. To warm. I made a comment about it to the lady who was taking my order. She acknowledged it was warm - but that was about it. It was nicer outside temp wise - but at this time of the year - the pollen levels are now in the high range - I did not want to sit outside and inhale more pollen. And it's to warm inside. I ordered a tasting flight of 5 ciders. They ciders are served in cool looking test tubes - from a "Lab," - hence the name of the place. My cider flight included (with associated Untappd rankings): Green Apple (4 stars) Blueberry Peach Jerk'm (4 stars) Elderberry Cider (4 stars) Passionate Perry (2.75 stars) Blackberry Jerk'm (1.75 stars) I really enjoyed the first three in the list - the Passionate Perry just did not resonate with my taste buds - and the Blackberry Jerk'm was bordering on a cough syrup taste. I did not drink all of my tasting flight - as it was to warm inside for me - so I really could not enjoy them the way I wanted to. Service was good. Paid with Apple Pay. It was created with a deep thoughts of families with kids and they pay attention to the smallest details to make your presence as comfortable and stress free! As a small example they put free diapers in the bathroom ! We were the first clients there, so I had a chance to take pictures without other people on it but it got filled pretty quick. First thing to tell ( and the reason we came) was a bunch of kids activities & farm animals. It totally worth an hour drive ( for me) !They have plenty of slides& swings, zip line, outdoor& indoor games, small souvenir shop and indoor playroom with AC. You can feed the goats ( they sell food for $ 5 glass and only $1 refill) , that was my daughter favorite part! All animals ( dogs,pigs, chickens and a lot of goats) are very friendly and well cared for. BEER&FOOD: We had a flight to get familiar with their beer and then ordered the one we liked ( I choose Red) . The food and ice cream are provided by food trucks( you have to get it yourself) and it becomes available starting 12PM . Portions are generous, food is a bit overpriced. As I understood the food trucks are changing, so there is no fixed menu. TIP: Dont come hungry if you are picky in food, as outside food is not allowed and there is only 1 food truck. Overall , we enjoyed our visit, but the day was too hot , and even taking to account the fact of having fans in there, it was too hot for us to stay long. We will definitely come back during the autumn time when is cooler to fully enjoy all activities they have to offer.

We usually come here after visiting the alpaca farm across the street. The rooms upstairs are very warm and cozy. The staff will pop in to check on you every once in a while but you can also go downstairs to get/ask for whatever you need. I appreciate that they don't hover. The people that work here are amazing. The wine is fantastic. And the property is beautiful. I've mostly been to the Farmhouse because we always come with children, but the couple of times I've been quickly up the street, the properties looked very nice and elegant. Highly recommend.
