    Kitchen Burger

My first thought whenever I visit a vegan place is that I have to try a burger out and that's exactly what I did with a side of fries. The staff here is absolutely friendly and sweet that make this restaurant feel nice and homey. What I couldn't believe is the portion size for the food is absolutely huge! The Kitchen Burger felt like a mission to eat and the patties were flavored great! Fries were also absolutely amazing too! They come unsalted but they're freshly made. Many other great vegan options I've never seen before either. It's definitely worth a visit! Clean restrooms and easy parking!

Wish that we stopped here sooner! I worked in Greenwich Village, NY so I know really great vegan food. This place checks off all the boxes. I had the falafel plate with iced hibiscus tea. The service is personal and owners are super sweet. Love the decor. We plan to put Vegan Community Kitchen in our weekly rotation. Enjoy!

I always order their Kitchen Burger because it's absolutely delicious! Very flavorful and filling. The vegan pizza is a lot of food! Also crunchy and tasty as well. The service is always good, and (I think) the owner is kind and attentive. Ambiance is fine, too.

Walk into the bright and airy restaurant ready to be tempted by the smells. With an extensive menu of vegan foods even your meat loving friends will find something to tickle their fancy. From falafel to Mac and Cheese there is something for everyone. The owner is grateful for your patronage and kind!

This place has a great vegan menu and even better prices. I got fries, a burger, lasagna, mac and cheese with broccoli, and a philly cheesesteak gyro all for only $38. The portions are very big too and we were not able to finish any item we got. You order the food online and pick it up/get curbside. The woman working when I got my food was very sweet! The burger was the best item we got. Huge, hot, had seitan doner kebab slices in it, and flavorful. The mac and cheese was the second best item! Until I tried this mac and cheese I honestly thought vegans were not able to make good mac. Theirs was great and I'm interested in what the mac and brisket wrap tastes like now. I was originally going to get it but wanted to make sure the mac itself was good first so I'll be back! The lasagna was okay. I chose the one with beans and lentils over the one with butternut squash. It had a great texture and I love lentils I just wish it had more of that cheesy feel that non-vegan lasagna has because the beans made it a little dry. I assume it's hard to replace ricotta cheese. I'm sure the butternut squash one is even better though. The philly cheesesteak gyro is ENORMOUS and impossible to pick up and eat so I'd choose the regular gyro over this one. However the seitan doner kebab is surprisingly on point and it's nice to see you can still have good Middle Eastern food while being vegan.

I ordered online through their website. The order was ready in twenty minutes. When I arrived I was greeted with two smiling faces. It felt like home. Did I want to try a new menu item, their burrito bowl launching next week? Did I see that they had posted Ethiopian dishes on the menu, too? The decorations matched the owners' kind, bright and sunny moods. I ordered the three bean salad and a Kitchen burger and they gave me a sample of the new menu item, the burrito bowl, to-go. My husband ate all my three bean salad and he also loved the burrito bowl. We are excited for the new owners who are helping to strengthen the plant-based community. I can't wait to make this a habit.

We were on this side of town and decided to give this location a try. Each time we would come before, I would always come on the day they were closed! Not this time. We arrived, it was dark, so I thought they might be closed again.   However, they have HUGE signs on the outside of the building. They are ONLY open (at the time of this post) for online orders. You have to order online and then call to let them know you are outside. Once your food is done, they will bring it out to you.   The online ordering process is a little confusing at some points - for example we wanted to do the sampler platter but couldn't get the system to add the sides we wanted. It could have been because we were doing it on the phone and not on the computer. Or it could have been because we were hungry and were overlooking stuff (le sigh).   At any rate, we decided on the following for our meal:   **Meatball Mac&Cheese Casserole: comes with 3 meatballs and BBQ sauce **Authentic Yeero: seitan doner kebab, tomatoes, red onions, lettuce, and tzatziki sauce in a pita wrap **Chocolate Cake: come with sweet potato frosting   After ordering everything, it took about 15 mins receive everything. Everything was neatly packaged. The only concern we had was for the mac and cheese casserole, the container didn't have a top - it was just wrapped in foil. The container itself was a thin foil bowl, so we had to be a little careful with it to ensure we didn't have any spills in the car.   The drove straight home, so the food was still warm when we sat down to eat. We first tired the Meatball Mac &Cheese Casserole. Honestly, with the BBQ sauce it taste like spaghetti. We thought it was full of flavor and enjoyed it overall. Now, I will say if you are used to a smooth consistency when it comes to mac and cheese sauce, that isn't what you will get with this one. It's a little chalky (and that could have been what was served that day). However, it blended well with the dish - if that make sense. We wondered if their other mac and cheese has a more cheesy and smoother consistency. This has various herbs or seasonings that give you the spaghetti vibe.   The meatballs were HUGE, a little tough, but we didn't mind it. As we understand it's not meat so you might now get the "juiciness" you would find with a beef meatball. My only suggestion would be to cut down on the size of them. Instead to three huge balls, six smaller ones might work out better and provide for a more "tender" meatball.   The Yeero is where we had some mixed feelings. It was okay. We ended up adding some vegan mayo to it to enjoy it more. There was A LOT of salad mix on top and the pieces for the lettuce and the tomatoes were huge chunks. Again, that made for a "ugh" moment because you had to either remove the items or cut them up more to actually enjoy each bite. The pita was toasted and had a crunch to it. Not something we really liked - would have liked for it to have been soft.   Now for the cake! Oh boy, it was rich, soft, tender, moist, and chocolate overload! It was the most amazing chocolate vegan cake we have had - hands down. We will get that again! Now, note this you can tell it has something "different" to it versus a regular cake, but if you can't enjoy a normal chocolate cake for various reasons -  this is a perfect substitute for that sweet tooth craving!

    Beyti kebab

Food here is absolutely delicious. I had beyti kebab and it was yummy, far exceeded my expectations. The service was excellent, courteous and attentive. Ambiance is great. I am meat eater and recommend this place to everyone. You will not be disappointed.

Dinner on my patio (again) tonight. Vegan Community Kitchen is very close to home. Friends have raved about it, yet we hadn't been before tonight. We didn't know what we were missing! The menu has a lot of Mediterranean dishes, and I loved the Falafel Combo--grape leaves, falafel, hummus, lots of pita and a nice salad without too much lettuce. i ordered a side of spanakopita, and it was very good--flaky phyllo with well-spiced spinach in the middle. I barely missed the feta! There was so much food, I have enough for dinner tomorrow. My friend loved the quesadilla; he said the "cheese" was tasty, even though it didn't quite taste like what he was used to eating. Just for fun, he ordered the cake pops, and I tried one. It was VERY chocolate-y, and it was a nice end to a delicious meal. During COVID-19, they have curbside pickup, and the food was ready when they said it would be. The menu was huge, and we're already thinking about what we'll order for our next patio dinner.

Went a while ago. Seems kind of dirty. Not a lot of food choices. Even though I'm a vegetarian, I would not go back.

Tried to speak with one of the guys working there, they completely avoided me and were "super" busy with the customers in line. I patiently waited and only when all the customers (who were ordering there) were done, they started working on my order. By the way, no one acknowledged my presence there, no eye-contact, no smile - nothing at all. Seemed pretty rude. Perhaps they were short-staffed or tired, I don't know. Now going back to the food - At least that was really good. We ordered couple of build-your-own-bowls and build-your-own-kids trays, and all of them were awesome & tasty! Harissa sauce, spicy hummus, shawarma's - all yummy!!! And maybe that's the reason I'll probably come back again and also because they serve halal. Hope they can fix the customer service or increase the staff as it did feel that they were only three guys taking care of everything. Ambiance wasn't bad & I didn't feel as if anything was not clean.
