We were in the area looking for a bite to eat after a long drive from northern Virginia to meet a dear friend we haven't seen since university days years ago , so we stepped in Jasmin and Olivz , the restaurant was very clean and inviting , I loved the simple Mediterranean decor and the neat furniture that will remind of your trips to eastern Mediterranean shores . The food menu provided clear , short but detailed descriptions of the the ingredients , I wanted to eat healthy salad with protein , I picked the chicken / shawarma - Gyro dish , it game with salad , Houmus and yogurt mint salad - some calls it Teziki pita bread accompanied the plate , the spiced chicken paired well with the salad . I can definitely see the appeal for Jasmin & Olivz as a quick and affordable Mediterranean spot, but even just based on proximity you could go left or right on Chapel Hill Rd and I could point to a place that has better food. As a restaurant that is sort of like Chipotle, I guess you could say that I should shoulder some of the blame for picking incorrectly, but the general basis of the food was fairly underwhelming. On my first visit, I got their pre-made gyro bowl, which came with rice, chickpeas, slaw, and pita with tzatziki. I will say, I didn't have many problems with the gyro itself. All of the sides were really odd. I had never had chickpeas within my Mediterranean bowl, and I don't think I would like to add it again. The texture balance between the rice and chickpeas were not very harmonious, and the flavor of the chickpeas tended to dominate the bowl. I would have also replaced the slaw with a simple salad or tabouli. I recently re-visited Jasmin and ordered their Mediterranean platter which comes with chicken, salad, pita, tzatziki, hummus and a grape leaf. I found this platter to be extremely bland. The chicken lacked seasoning, the tzatziki was like eating flavorless yogurt and pita was soggy and not a good recipient of the hummus or tzatziki. I was definitely not impressed with this one, but I could see someone enjoying it if they preferred more mild flavors. With other options in the area, I have a hard time believing that I will be returning to Jasmin. If you are looking for an alternative, Neomonde is a fantastic option! read more

We love Jasmin. The food is always freshly prepared, the staff is welcoming and friendly and the food is flavorful. We always get chicken and rice for the kids and I like to go between the chicken pita and chicken zaki. The build your own bowls are also a great way to pick and choose toppings and customize. I recommend signing up the for the rewards program and for each $10 you spend, you get 1 point to use on future orders. Simple to order here, a Chipotle style restaurant where you can order bowls and other types of dishes. I ordered the gyro bowl. From my experience with other Mediterranean places, I feel like they offered fewer options and smaller portions. I have recently changed my diet and relationship with food. Which caused me to eat more veggies and protein. I worked late and needed food. A colleague suggested this place. Heard of it, seen it but never stopped in. So, I drove over, stood in line which was only me for about 13 minutes without any acknowledgement, I thought that was weird, by the time she and her homegirls behind the counter stopped chit-chatting, she finally made my Greek Chicken Salad. I had some words with the person that rung me up, letting me know my disstan about them talking while I paid the consequences in waiting while I could have been taken care of a lot sooner. No apologies were given, they made me feel like I was wrong. Got back to work, the food was actually good, woke my tastebuds up. Fresh, fast, casual, lunch spot for Mediterranean food in Morrisville. Menu has a great variety of gyros, bowls, platters, salads and desserts so it's pretty easy to find something you like when you go with an office crowd. Lunch is the busiest time of day but they keep the line moving. There is ample seating inside and outside so finding a table is never a problem, and I love the relative seclusion of their patio. You get an insane amount of food as you can see from the photos. Everything I've had is good, but i really love the Mediterranean platter and Lebanese platter because you get a little sampler of things (hummus, grape leaves, falafel, chicken, salad). I'm leaving this review based on a frustrating experience that's happened more than once. This restaurant advertises that it closes at 10:00 PM, but in reality, they seem to shut down whenever they feel like it -- sometimes even before 9:00 PM. Tonight, my husband arrived at 8:50 PM, well within the posted hours, only to have the door locked in his face. No explanation, no courtesy, just a blatant disregard for their own schedule and for customers trying to support their business. We understand that staff want to go home -- everyone does -- but if the restaurant isn't truly open until 10, then the hours need to be updated. Turning customers away with no notice or flexibility is a quick way to lose regulars. We've enjoyed the food in the past, but the inconsistent closing times and lack of professionalism are disappointing. If you're thinking of coming here, don't count on them being open late, even if Google or the sign on the door says otherwise. read more

This is a great spot for a casual lunch. I do think they've struggled with staff during Covid so service can be slow at times. It's gotten better recently. I usually order the gyro platter as I love the variety. Meat, salad, fries and bread! What else could you ask for? Their wraps are also quite tasty. Jasmin's is doing social distancing right! We ordered our food from a safe distance, and they have markers on the floor to help people stay six feet apart. At the counter, they have a table and a plexiglass screen in front of the register, to make sure everyone stays apart while paying. They even request that customers put on gloves before they pay. You can't eat in, but there's a terrific open, breezy patio that's perfect if you don't want to carry out. The food is classic Jasmin's--zakis, flatbreads and platters, and now they have bowls. All delicious and relatively healthy. To top it off, the service was friendly and helpful, and the bathrooms were clean. read more

And the music is a bit on the loud side for having a conversation. The service was good with friendly folks making the food. For the bowl they made sure to let you know what you could select which is good for any first timers. The food was ok. The hummus was bland and not very much given when ordering it as a side. The gyro was mildly spiced so adding pepper relish helped. In comparison to Greek Fiesta, the food here is definitely not as tasty IMHO. I would recommend it for a decent tasting meal but if there's a Greek Fiesta close by, I'd suggest going there instead. read more

Finally I open the box of fries at work (which were $2.50 by the way!!) and I could not believe my eyes. Maybe this guy was the owner or something because he was soooo stingy with the fries!! I basically got the amount you get when an entree comes with a free side. . But if I'm ordering the fries as a stand-alone for 2.50 and I get this measly amount, I'm going to be upset. A great little lunch spot if you work in and around the Morrisville area. The food is good, both quantity and quality-wise. I visited this place for lunch a couple of times over the past few weeks and was able to try their veggie falafel panini and the veggie bowl. The first time I was in, there were not many people but still the service was very slow. The second time I went it was better. The food is traditional Mediterranean fare and they have some good veggie options. I definitely liked the veggie bowl better than the panini. The bowl comes with a side of pita bread. Their falafel is surely very well made; crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I wouldn't mind going here again for a quick lunch. read more

Rice, chicken, Greek salad, pita bread, and tzatziki sauce are all amazing. I can't find any Mediterranean restaurant that compares--and I've tried a lot. Prices are reasonable; the only thing that disappoints me is that they don't give you a lot of meat. If you ask for double meat you won't actually get double the meat--but you'll pay for it. Overall I go here about twice a week (and would more if it was closer) because the food is consistently delicious and healthy. read more

The baklava saves this review from being one star. I don't understand the good reviews for this place. I visited the restaurant because of the reviews on this site. The food is not spectacular in any way. The taste is bland and the hot sauce overpowers the entire dish. They definitely cheapen you out on the amount of protein that is served with your meal. For $20 you mostly get pita stuffed with lettuce, and you're lucky if you get two bites of any protein at all. For example, The falafel panini barely includes any falafel at all, just lettuce and hot sauce. If you want more protein you have to pay extra for it. Just. No. Nope. If you go, proceed with caution. Pay attention to exactly what you're paying for. Don't overpay for lettuce and bread. Not in this economy. P.S. the sanitation is also questionable. read more

If you're looking for good (or even just average) customer service, you won't find it here. We really like the food at Jasmin, but we have decided to no longer eat here because the curbside pickup is so difficult to get right. They get our order wrong about half of the time (completely leaving things out, missing condiments, etc). Other times they won't answer the phone at all when you arrive. It's really difficult sometimes to get a person to come bring the food outside. If masks matter to you, I should note that the person running the cash register was not wearing a mask recently. I honestly dread going to pick up food from here because it is basically a guaranteed hassle. I have called and tried to talk to someone when they've messed up my order and they refused to give me a refund. If none of that bothers you, then I would say this is a 4 star place for Mediterranean food. We've had so many bad experiences here that, unfortunately, we'll be no longer coming here. read more
