There were a lot of items I wanted to try on the menu, but they were closing. So, I settled for a Strawberry / Dragonfruit icecream and it was amazing!! There's only 1 guy running it and if it's gets packed, it can be a little wait for your food. But I saw many people smiling and eating, which makes me think that there's good food here. After speaking to the owner, he said that he's been cooking for over 20 years and that explains his diverse menu. This IS outdoor seating and it's kinda small, so that and possible mosquitoes are the only drawback I saw so far. I'll be back for sure!!

No complaints here!!! Don't sleep on the roots when you travel to this beautiful US Virgin Island!!

Came here while visiting from California and was genuinely excited to try this small,…read morehole-in-the-wall breakfast spot. We love local places and breakfast!! However, that excitement disappeared very quickly. Every seat was full when we walked in -- totally fine, we expected to wait. What we didn't expect was to stand there for 10-15 minutes without a single acknowledgment. No "welcome in," no "we'll be right with you," no explanation of whether we seat ourselves or wait. Literally nothing. Just... ignored. As tables opened up, still nothing. No guidance, no eye contact, no words. We're just standing there like ... wondering if we accidentally walked into a place where customers aren't supposed to exist. Then a woman who I assume is the owner (Sam) barges in already radiating this rude, egotistical energy. She walks straight past us and warmly greets another table. Whatever--maybe she knew them! She's clearly frazzled, so we take a few minutes before we politely ask if we can take two empty seats nearby. She looks up and goes, "What??" then looks back down and says, "I need five minutes. Can you just give me five minutes before I do anything?" Sighs. And goes back to whatever was more important than taking two seconds to kindly seat two customers. Like, ?? LOL At this point, we wait long enough for that table that she greeted nicely to pay, get up, and leave. Still not a single kind word from anyone. Since nobody bothered to tell us how this place works, we finally seat ourselves. From there, service is slow -- which honestly didn't bother us. Island time is island time. What did bother us was the nonstop condescending, rude tone from this woman the entire time. The way she spoke to everyone made it seem like she thought she was the center of the universe, and we were just... inconveniences. The food was good, though! Can't beat down on that tbh. That's why this review is 2 s instead of 1. To top it all off, when we're finished and ready to pay, she comes over and says, "You ready to go?" We smile and say yes. She drops the payment terminal on the table and walks away without another word. No "thank you," no "how was everything," no acknowledgment that we were even human beings. Like, not even a smile??? There was just no string of kindness anywhere... My suggestion: skip this place and skip the nasty attitude. There are plenty of other spots that won't make you feel uncomfortable just for existing.

I got zero spice and loved it. Was great. Table overall said spice scale was high. Some ordered 2 and struggled, another ordered 5 and wasn't phased. Not consistent, but when eating Tai food I er on the side of caution for me. Spring rolls were good, but again table thought sauce for it was too hot. The food consensus was that it was all delicious. My rice was cooked perfectly. Staff kept my sodas coming the whole time. This place is a little pricy, but to be expected when just off the boardwalk. This is a tourist area so in par for a nice sit down restaurant. Bathrooms were fancy with intricate doors. Plenty of atmosphere to enjoy. Great music at a suitable level for being able to enjoy conversations. You will have a great time here. Hope you get to experience it someday. Thanks!

Fortunately for us,…read morewe got a great table in the grotto, and we were warmly welcomed individually by all of the staff. Service from top to bottom was outstanding. Attentive without being overbearing. And then there's the food and drink. First off, I love red wine and once upon a time amassed a pretty legit 800+ bottle collection. They had gems from my cellar on the list! On an island in the middle of the Caribbean! What?! I've not seen Turley on a wine list outside of the mainland in a decade, for example. And they had 4 different Turley options. Including one by the glass. Amazing. The food matched everything that preceded it; simply outstanding and captured a sublime balance of island and haute cuisine. The Lazy Lobster crawled mercilessly into our bellies, melded with plush mashed potatoes and perfectly al dente asparagus and a delicate sauce. The Lamb Shank masterpiece, served over gnocchi and the most wonderful au jus, melted over the palate, delivering a resounding umami "whoa" tingle. Both paired beautifully with our wine selections. Dessert was a rum strawberry masterpiece, complimented by one of the best espresso martinis we've ever had, and a generous pour of Angel's Envy bourbon. One of the best meals of our lives, anywhere, and we've been to some of the best restaurants on the planet. Maybe it was the sea breeze, maybe it was kismet, but regardless, we loved it start to finish and highly recommend Savant. We're no idiots!

Around the back of the restaurant is a covered outdoor courtyard with lush plants, a full bar, and lots of seating (extra points for the fans, the air circulation is phenomenal). Next the service. Impeccable. Every person that we encounter from the host, the bar tender and the waitress were so very friendly. I appreciated the recommendations that they had to offer on food and drinks (because everything looked so good). Some of the best service I've had on the island so far. Now finally, the FOOD!! You could tell it's was going to be good just from how the staff spoke about it. We had three appetizers (lobster egg rolls, ceviche, and calamari). Each were very unique and flavorful, great size for sharing, everything you hope for in good appetizers. For my entree I was torn between many different things, but with the help of staff I decided to go with the bacon wrapped double pork chop. And WOW I'm so happy I did. I always fear with pork chops of a dry, hard to chew meal but this was far from reality. The cut of meat was so juicy and easy to cut and chew. The flavor was fantastic. Cooked to perfection. For dessert I decided to go with a classic vanilla rum cake and it was perfect. I loved Savant, it was an experience from start to finish. 10000/10 recommend that you try this restaurant when on St. Croix!

Jubilee will be located where Kim's Restaurant used to be in 45 King Street, Christiansted town next to Christiansted Federal Credit Union. There is street parking in front and down the street and the government parking lot is around the corner within a 5 minute walk. Their interior is quaint and cozy and best seated for couples and small groups. The decor is clean, simple and features many photos with depictions of the Caribbean culture. Admittedly, it is a little cramped inside when there's a full house, but the experience is still worth it. There's a full bar with plenty adult drinks and cocktails and of course, wine. There's also occasional live music from local artists, which really sets the ambiance nicely Their bathrooms are pretty, super-clean and even have touchless trash bins. Created by the brilliant mind of Chef Ashley, her skills in the culinary arts and the creation of Caribbean cuisine will prove to provide a very unique dining experience to all. Her imagination shows with her twists on local favorite dishes and I highly recommend the Mac & Tail, which is Mac & Cheese with Oxtail. If you're looking for a taste of the islands, you'll want to come to Jubilee by Yaadie in St. Croix & enjoy!
