country fried steak

Solid breakfast spot. There are two sides, the tavern area and the restaurant/cafe. They have a surprisingly big menu with the usual breakfast dishes but also a spin on some stuff, as well as lunch options. I can only speak for the breakfast menu. The country fried steak is really good, tastes homecooked and portions are big. I also love that they put grilled onions on their potatos! Yum. Only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is the service is kinda hit or miss. Sometimes super slow, other times just fine. Absolutely recommend if you're in the area and want a quality breakfast!

First local bar experience in Vegas. So I met up with a potential roommate I found off Craigslist here. He was worried I was going to be an axe murderer, so he wanted to meet in a public setting, where everyone there knows him. The bar itself was pretty hard to find, since it's built in an area that is newly developed. Despite what Google Maps tells you, the roads aren't connected and you will need to find this place on your own. I had to call in advance because I was lost, but the bartender was friendly and gave me pretty good directions. The tavern is located at the end of a residential street, which is the last place I would find a bar. The bar itself is new with pool tables and video poker. Drinks are cheap! 2 bucks for a domestic beer, 3 bucks for import. Pretty quiet when I went, but the guy that I was with says it can pick up on really odd nights. Overall, pretty good experience.

This is the only bar and separate restaurant located right in the heart of Mountain's Edge. The Bounty Tavern is a great little place for the Neighbors in Mountain's Edge and Silverado Ranch. The bartender's have all been very friendly. It's a small bar with a pool table jukebox and darts. Gaming is the number one reason people frequent this place I think because the gaming stations are always full when it's busy. It's a little goofy that the food is ordered through the bartender and placed at the restaurant next door (Our Family Country Cafe). The food is delivered by a server from the restaurant and you get a separate check for it. The Tavern and a restaurant are two separate owners, thus two separate tabs. All in all we really like coming here because it's closed to the house, good drinks, good staff, and really great food! It used to be a Pittsburgh bar which hosted the Penguins and Steelers games but we have noticed it's slowly becoming a Golden Knights favorite hangout spot for the locals. You really can't go wrong with their happy hour and gaming specials. Stop on in and check it out!

This is our 3rd time here. I have hesitated to leave a review as sometimes I get excited on a 1st try and then never have the same results. That's a different story with this bar. On all 3 times we've had different servers/bartenders and it's always a great experience. Great food and fun times here. I've had the burgers here and this time we're here for breakfast, bloodies and gaming. The meat lover omelet is amazing! The western breakfast burrito was awesome and the bloodies were perfect. WE ALSO HIT A PROGRESSIVE ROYAL to top off the morning. Kim was our bartender this morning and she's great. We will be back

Andrew the bartender that came on around 4 PM was seriously the best, great sense of humor and just outstanding customer service! The fingers were really good and the house made chips were perfect! Paired wonderful with a Coors light and Chardonnay, but we will definitely be back for the suggested poke nachos and a new upcoming menu!

I frequent this bar off the corner of Warm Springs and Lindell quite a bit, as there aren't many…read moreoptions in my local area that stays up 24/7. Delicious Food! A Cozy Sports Bar Ambiance! But let's get straight to the issue- the HOSPITALITY! I don't like being negative- I want local businesses to thrive and reach more people, but I need to add this bit of criticism- Lately, coming here feels like you're rolling the dice- and going out to eat and being treated well shouldn't have to feel like a gamble. When I dine here, I don't feel welcome. The bartenders make it clear that they cater to some regulars more than others. It takes the bartender half an hour to get us started with drinks and a menu to look at the food. It's crazy- I come here so often know some of this establishment's staff by name now and yet, I'm met with this recent disservice- The other night I arrive here with my girlfriend to grab some food around 1 am. I see the bartender, Ryan, zooming around, refilling beer and shots, going in and out of the kitchen. It's not that busy of a Friday night- maybe a handful of couples and groups all sitting at the bar. He passed SEVERAL times by me, no acknowledgement, no "Hey, bear with me, I'll be right with ya." 1:30. He finally comes to us apologizing, gets us started on drinks and hands us the menu. We take a couple of minutes to decide. He stands around by the Pos and talks to another bartender (Andrew I think?), who came from the kitchen, then immediately left. Another 10-15 minutes pass. By this point, I was wondering if I should just walk out. Finally, Ryan comes to take our orders. Typically, a server or bartender leads the conversation, right? I'm sure you hear things like "what can I get started for you," or "how would you like your eggs cooked" or "how would you like your Steak cooked" - You've all heard those before, right? Well- nothing. No cue. No asking anything. It felt awkward. Uncomfortable. Unwelcoming. I don't even know if he was paying attention. At one point, it was ME who was the one asking my girlfriend "How do you want your eggs cooked?" when she asked to get the Steak and Eggs because there was ZERO response coming from our bartender to anything we said. The energy felt COMPLETELY off, so I just asked then and there for the check and left off to grab some Cane's instead. An absolutely dismal experience. I don't like making my reviews about me, but I felt like I needed to explain exactly why I'm upset about my recent visits here so anyone reading this can better understand instead of just reading a vague mention of how rude the staff was. Let's get to the Good Bar Bites I recommend if you do come here (maybe day time could give you a different experience): WSKY Burger- I recommend a medium on the patty! Very juicy- the crunch of the onion rings and candied bacon- One of my favorite burgers! Steakhouse sliders- tasty and sharable mini burgers! Although- I need some clarification- Can modifications be made to this dish? One day, while ordering over the phone, a bartender named Zach told me I cannot add an extra slider (I wanted 4 sliders instead of just the 3 that come on the order), I'd have to purchase two whole orders if I wanted more. What's this about? I've never had that issue before, so just curious. Flatbread Pizza- of course pizza is always awesome to munch on. The crunch on the flatbread is so satisfying I honestly don't think I'll be coming here anytime soon. It sucks. The bar looks beautiful, the food is delicious. But why have I been treated like an outsider lately? It's not worth going to a place, even if it has good food, if you're not going to be treated well.

There's also a nice couch section with a round center table where I saw a group of friends enjoy their visit. If you're into sports, there's several televisions around the perimeter that provide good view of the action. As my first time here, the staff is very kind in explaining how the process works. I was told that you can enter your phone number and then it allows you to scan the QR code on the table for food. The alternative is to walk up to the front counter to order. I wanted to learn how to do this process so I tried. I added the food item to the cart on my phone but when it came to checkout, I was unsure how to proceed. It asked me to add a credit card, yet I already had one opened on file for my visit. I went back up to the front and the team member was unsure so we handled the entire food ordering up front. I put in an order for the chili nachos and the size was quite decent with a lot of toppings. It's a good shareable to start. I also tried the sweet potato fries which I asked for more well done to ensure that they come out with some crisp. The sweet potato fries were actually a waffle and they did come out nice, hot and crispy - so that is a winner of an app! The pour yourself concept is interesting and it's nice that each sign provides information about the content and more info if you tap the screen - such as the general beer taste description. The glass shelf has several options. I didn't see any cold glasses which would have been a plus. The staff member said that you can sample beers by just pouring a little, but there were no small shot glasses to do this. Therefore, I was compelled to just go for it and pour 3 ounces to try a light lager. Sitting back at the table, I was almost certain that a new glass would be required for each visit. However, I saw everyone bring their own glass back up to refill each time. I didn't see any clear signage on site that explained the process. If refills are allowed - then I think that additional signage should also explain pouring etiquette as well. There's a water station for self serve as well. I appreciate the lids and straws that are also at the station. I would have loved to have some ice readily available but I'm sure it's probably just an ask as I saw others have ice in their drinks. The pricing per ounce reminds me of a self serve yogurt place in that the amount you get actually feels more expensive in the end. The per ounce feel makes you think it's a good deal, but it's on par or a hair over other places that pour for you. Overall, I think this is a cool concept to try and to show out of town friends if they don't have anything like this in their area. Also - I can see this being a great place if friends are going dutch as they can use their own card and everyone is responsible for their share. Lastly, if you don't like to commit 16 oz to just one beer, this is a great way to try several beers in one sitting.

He said no problem and came out around 10 minutes later with the Mac this time in a square serving bowl. Just as cold as before. Also completely tasteless like salt wasnt allowed. I just nibbled and asked for a to go container figuring I can add some spice and heat it up at home. Fire orange like the colors of the Phoenix, then a switch to neon blue hues of color all above me!…read moreHow appealing and seductive the lights are! Flare is an extremely unique experience and lure! The lights continually change making drinking oh so exclusive and fun! On my most recent visit, I lent my ear for someone that so badly needed just someone to listen too. This someone is my bff. I will always have her back, and vice versa. Where better than a bar to distract her. The lights of flare have always been something that distracts her. Wanting to stay away from the strip and closer to home this bar is a fantastic location for both of us. Flare is located in the Silverton Hotel in the middle of the casino. Free covered parking, no cover, minimal people, and not touristy; perfect place for us. We arrive at different times, with my friend still stuck in traffic I just sit with a beer waiting. After she arrives she orders a Crown and Coke. I give the bartender the card and ask him to start a tab. As we sit here the orange and red hues wash over us from above, bathing us in its color. As it switches to bluish green we notice the pink coloring. My bff is smiling now we are getting somewhere. The smile from my bff is perfection and it is so great to see her smile. The tears were checked at the elevator as I watched her approach Flare and her eyes were immediately engulfed in the changing lights from above my head as I sat at the bar. Getting up I hugged my bff and the bartender seemed particularly interested in my friends unsettled mood. The bartender even asked what was bothering her. This bartender was so attentive to our order ensuring that we were not bothered by anyone asking to buy us a drink or if we needed a shoulder to cry on. As we drank the compassionate side of the bartender was fantastic. He even bought us a round of Crown and Coke too. Aside from having a wonderful bartender, whom was alert and always on his toes for keeping our drinks coming and water cups filled. The bar is a great place to try your luck with blackjack. The machines on the counter are level enough with the most comfortable chairs that I have sat in. The chairs at the bar are white bar type stools that are very fancy. This bar has that old world feel to it. Having traveled to many places, my favorite were those small homely places that are so ordinary that you have to stumble upon it to know it's greatness. When I discovered Flare my husband was gambling and I wanted a drink. The color changing of the lights beckoned to me. Answering the call, I discovered my cozy new place. My bff fell in love with the concept they used in designing the bar. As I listen to my bff the lights above keep changing. My eyes are constantly being drawn to those tempting lights. After a while the Crown and Coke got old, plus we wanted to walk out of the bar after drinking; and not be carried. Switching it up we asked our bartender what he would drink after so much Crown and Coke. His suggestion was beer. They offer a special happy hour price for $4.00 a bottle for Miller Lite. That's what we had, everyone likes happy hour prices. With work tomorrow and my bff mood changed we are going to find some food. They do not sell food here so it's off to find something delicious to absorb all the alcohol we partook of. In our merriment the service and atmosphere of Flare was exactly what we needed to reset ourselves. Come and see what the lights of Flare will do to you. The experience was magical and the bartender was fantastic. Thanks to making our troubles wash away and be replaced with hues of new color to enchant our week!

I ordered the Reuben and spam musubi as an appetizer they were decent the prices were also standard I would have paid 20 or so but I had an LVA coupon which comped most of the meal. At the very least the players club is good another Jett gaming run club which gives $20 free play as a welcome offer, points and various free plays promotions while actively playing. As far as the service goes it was good for the most part they took my coupon, made me a card, were attentive and changed the TV channel to the game I wanted to watch which I appreciated. It was just two things that rubbed me the wrong way. First when you cash out you don't get your cents on the ticket which I didn't want anyway but seems odd to not even ask. The second is I paid cash for my food bill in excess of what I owed the female bartender took it and said nothing to me just going to her other customers, I was still watching the game waiting for her to offer me my change but she never came back. I then told her I gave her $10 for what was a $4.50 bill or so and that I wanted her to keep the change as my tip anyway just making sure she hadn't accidentally locked it up then she asked "what do you want your $5 back?" In a condescending tone to which I said she could keep it but I wanted to make sure to tell her because she never said anything to me or even asked she just automatically took my change for her tip which is a very sleazy thing to do and made me feel like I was being hustled by this broad. I've never experienced that at any bar or restaurant the polite thing to do is at least ask. Overall it's an ok bar I believe there are a lot of better options even in that area but it wouldn't hurt to stop by. Personally I wouldn't visit again unless promotions and mailers made it worth it to do so.
