And now I have the perfect one. Found this little Vegas gem randomly in the magazine in my hotel and figured it was worth the 30min trip to try it out. Booked a tour with Master Distiller Johnny, and from the moment I arrived, they took great care of me. The tour was fun and informative. I know a good amount about distilling whiskey, but they talked about their specific processes and the unique attributes of distilling in the hot desert. After the tour, I spent some time in the awesome tap room. Old School vibe to it, with food that rivals the restaurants on the strip, bartenders who are friendly and make a killer cocktail, and just a great place to chat with folks at the bar and hang out for a quiet evening. I will absolutely be back next time I'm in town. It's well worth the trip. Don't forget to pick up a couple of bottles; they even stock bottle protectors for you to get them home safely (like all 3 of mine did). read more

My friend insisted on stopping at this place so I went along with it. I'm glad I did. I did not know there's a distillery this far up Southeast of Las Vegas! It was a classic bar and lounge place. We entered the venue and it was quiet, like a lobby and I had to use the restroom which is clean. Then we approached the dining section and the bar and the waiter asked us if we needed a table which we did. My friend asked about the whiskey samples and we got a few samples and then my friend bought a couple bottles. It was a nice experience, a speakeasy type of place. A Wednesday afternoon in March. We took the early tour of this cute little distillery. You are welcomed with the red carpet out front and enter the door to a view of the "behind the scenes" of the distillery on your left and the bar on your right. They had a pretty nice size crowd in the tiny dark Pub. There were only 6 people in our tour. Our Guide was full of energy. Much needed to keep you alert after each sample. The distillery is bright and clean in the factory. We were given a total of four samples (one drink sample and three shot samples) my favorite was the old-fashioned cocktail and the coffee liquor. I wanted to taste everything, but the clear spirits were only available upon request. I felt like I would be burden to ask. Maybe I will request it next time because I want to bring my brother and sister-in-law back before it gets too hot. They do not have climate control in the back and I do not want to tour during the really hot season. They took a complementary souvenir picture of us and gave it to us at the end. I've got to come back just so I can take a better picture next time. LOL Very friendly Staff. The tour is a reasonably priced and they even have a locals discount. Wow! What a surprise and delight. The distillery was themed all throughout the lounge part. It felt like it was out of a movie and gave the perfect Las Vegas theme! Our tour was extremely educational and the service was perfect from start to finish. We ended our night with a picture taken and given to us by the staff. at first I was concerned that I developed a drinking problem cause the staff knows me by name. But in fact, it's just kind of like the Cheers bar was in the desert. A place that makes everyone feel at home. Then there's the drinks. The coffee liquor is an absolute must try, the flavors of top level coffee with subdued bitterness by the exquisite white rum base. This place makes all its own spirits with unique spins on vodka and rum. In addition to an interesting tour, the old world vegas charm spills out to the bar where I also had the best grilled cheese and tomato bisque in the city. While there aren't a ton of food options, the ones they do have are Michelin star level. I've waited for this place to reopen for years now and I can honestly say, after coming here twice, it's one of the best cocktail bars in Henderson. The staff are all super friendly, the vibes are very Las Vegas, the cocktails are absolutely top notch, beautiful, and creative, and you have the ability to buy their spirits and go for a tour if you like. I've each time I've brought people there, they have all been incredibly surprised. On my last visit, I saw that they now offer hot dogs. I got the spicy pig, which seem to have a Korean flair to it. For $10. I was expecting a lot more though. It was good but nothing really to write home about. Along with that, I will say this place is a bit on the pricier side, especially for the booze district. When I say I'm obsessed with this spot: I'm not kidding. What a hidden gem!!! A girlfriend and I stopped by for a little night out and I was pleasantly surprised how much I LOVE this place! They have cozy, speakeasy vibes from the moment you walk in and there was even a singer there as well! The menu is well sized and every drink was a HIT. They did an amazing job of have plenty of choices, including some classics as well as out of the box options (this is my plea to keep the sack lunch permanently on the menu). The only one I didn't love was the espresso martini, but it sounds like they kinda get that a lot Not only were the vibes on point, and the drinks amazing but the service was off the charts. Don't let the outside fool you that it's just a simple office building. Walked into the distillery that felt like I was stepping back in time to like the 1920s. Went with friends and sat at the bar. They have a Vegas sign perfect for photo ops at the front. I ordered their pepperoni pizza and Off The Deep End drink. They were both so good! This place has won me over. I visited the original location once or twice years ago, but since the buyout they've crafted a brilliant experience. Never realized that such a place like this existed in Vegas. So glad we found them on Yelp and decided to drive from Summerlin all the way here. They are located in a business park, but don't let that deter you. For a Saturday, parking was not an issue at all as the other businesses were closed. We got here around 4pm and the place was pretty empty. After talking to our server, we decided to take the tour for $24 pp. The tour is about an hour long and you get 4 tastings. Our tour guide was excellent and very knowledgable with the spirits world. At the beginning of our tour, he went through their distillation process and explained to us how different spirits were made. Then we were given a small tasting of the Old Fashion using their house made whiskey. It was really good. Sweet, but not too sweet and did not taste artificial. Next we went through the grains and had 3 samples of their spirits. After that, we went in to the barrel room. I think there's a max of 8 pp per tour to keep it small and intimate. Afterwards, we sat at the bar and ordered a couple of their cocktails. Overall a great experience and the drinks were pretty good. They do rotate their drinks out quarterly, but do keep their popular ones year round. read more

The front of the distillery, including walkway to the entrance, is as immaculate as the inside. I like the speakeasy decor and vibe that they've achieved. The crowd was lively though relaxed on a Friday night. There was a one-man cover band who played the saxophone and sang. He had a few people with him who also took turns singing, in the lounge jazz genre of Frank Sinatra. The cocktail menu is impressive. I had the Frozen Vegas Coffee, made with their own vodka and coffee liquer, as well as cold-brewed coffee from Dark Moon Coffee Roasters in Henderson. It looked and tasted similar to a milkshake. The serving size was generous to substantiate the $17 price. It was delicious without the alcohol being totally masked by the frozen ingredients. I popped into this place by complete accident. It was a great mistake. I expected everyday bourbons and whisky's, but the shelves were lined with their own homemade brand of whisky's. I took the bartenders recommendation on the local spin of Vegas themed drinks. I ordered the "Old Bones" drink and it was amazing. The bartender took great care in making this and it showed by the way it was displayed and the way it tasted. I will visit this place again. Not in the open, so to speak, but it's worth the visit. Friend was playing an early Sunday gig at the Distillery which was perfect for us because we are old. Bonus because we live in Henderson. We've been wanting to go here so bad because we live so close. We love all the interior decor and old photographs of Vegas. They have TVs playing clips of movies that were filmed in Vegas. The cocktails are so unique and handcrafted well. My favorite was the Eastgate sour. It was tart/sour and not overly sweet. They had very good food too! I attended a United States bartenders guild event here, and my experience was phenomenal. The tour was informative, hands on, and run. Our tour guide was informative and knowledgeable and I really enjoyed it. Our liquor tasting was phenomenal and I ended up leaving with multiple bottles. I had an espresso martini that was a 10/10 and I'd definitely go back for more. The food was also incredible, the pizza was thick and delicious, the charcuterie was extensive and delicious, and the pretzel bites were awesome. The bar itself is themed after old Vegas and it's beautiful and I love all the decor. What a FANTASTIC experience! The tour with Sam was AWESOME! She explained everything they are doing and plan on doing at the Distillery. Everyone was so friendly! We sat at the bar after the tour and all three bartenders were wonderful. They explained how they make each cocktail. My wife had the Old Bones and I had the Expresso Martini!
