I had been wanting to try this place for so long but was never in the area long enough to stop until one day I passed by and got some lunch. It was beautifully cozy when I walked in and very inviting especially with the kind hostess's warm greeting. I wish I could remember her name although it resembled the name of a flower. she gave me some suggestions and answered my questions of flavors and items since it was my first time. I decided on gettjng the sushi bowl because they were out of focaccia at the time so my first choice will have to be revisited at another time. The sushi bowl as created beautifully and quickly I might add. It had a lot of different textures and flavors from the fresh vegetables and the dressing drizzle was so yummy I couldn't get enough of it. As a vegan I love finding small gems to call my hidden places of peace, space and yummy options. I can't wait to return wjth my kids so they can enjoy the menu as well. I stopped by vegetation for a quick to-go bite while in Lakeland for the day. I got the BBQ tempeh, mac and cheese, and black sesame latte. I ordered pickup online, and it was available for me as soon as I walked in (actually slightly earlier than the assumed time - and it was right at lunch that I ordered). I will say that the latte was incredible - easily one of the best lattes that I've had in a very long time! The BBQ tempeh sandwich was good, and the Mac and cheese was all right. It tasted like vegan Mac and cheese, and that only goes so far. However, I really enjoyed my BBQ tempeh sandwich, and it was massive. I had enough, easily, for two meals. Great atmosphere, staff was super friendly and helpful. The black bean burger had good flavor the vegan mac and cheese was ok not my favorite but a good take on vegan mac. My wife had the grab and go beet and she loved it. The Mezze bowl was fantastic full of flavor even though the kofte patties had to be swapped with a burger patty instead. This loco is about 35 mins drive from us and it's worth double the time to drive to it. Delicious is norm, the vegan dishes are so scrumptious, so tasty that I have already decided to make this my regular. We had the Korean tacos. It not only looked delicious it was just heavenly. The "beef" gave us a fright as we thought we were actually beefing it up. The breakfast burrito was enough to fill 1.5 hungry tummy. Even the chai latte was so tasty we ordered another to share. Highly recommended and worth the drive. Wish they had an extra or two of entrees however it seems they change them every week. Relaxing jazzy place with eclectic decor. Made it to the new Vegetation Plant Food brick and mortar location today! I'm very impressed! The brownies are as rich and decadent as ever, lavender iced latte was definitely on point and the tofu pastry was seasoned and delicious! My boyfriend said the pastry was as good as he remembers the Jamaican beef patties he ate as a kid were while growing up in Queens. Service was excellent and the atmosphere is beautiful and inviting. I can't wait to see what the future looks like for them! I hope they are able to add staple items to the made to order menu and have the opportunity to be open more days than just on the weekends. Was excited about coming here because of the reviews but when we arrived no one welcomed us, offered to set us down or acknowledged that we were there until after waiting 10min we finally asked to be seated. No one responded or even came to the table to take an order or offer any assistance. We sat long enough to find somewhere else to eat and decided to leave. Tried this place for the first time on Saturday June 7th. Walked in and was not greeted by staff. Went up to the counter and was met with a rude "What can I get you?" Ordered a smoothie and was told they didn't have it. We were never asked if that was our first time there, if we had any questions about the menu, etc. Ordered a loaded quesadilla, a breakfast pocket and a lemonade. While waiting for our food I heard a young girl in the back say the F word and continue to be obscene. Received our food only to have the breakfast pocket be half frozen and the quesadilla falling apart with it tasting sour. Sent breakfast pocket back only for it to come out rock hard. The rude girl at the counter never asked if everything was okay, she was too busy sweeping. The place was unwelcoming. This place gives vegans a bad name. Waste of time and money. read more

The creators are talented & knowledgeable in vegan food combinations with vivid flavors. A favorite is curried chickpea salad (great for sandwiches) and their crunch bowl. Portions are generous. They also make desserts & coffees, coffee drinks (with oat, soy or almond milk). They have a cold case for grab & go meals and a casual trendy space for "eat-ins". I've had a couple of their great cookies (3 for $4) including pecan-cardamom & "trail mix". They make a nice spinach puff and a great tomato soup. Their espresso bean comes from Tampa and is delicious. Food is tasty for non-vegans as well and those who search for gluten-free. Currently only Friday, Saturday & Sunday hours. Welp internet family Vegetation has done it again. My 2nd time paying them a visit and they absolutely blew me away! Mind you, i am new to the plant based world apart from plant based cheeses since I am severely lactose intolerant. So this is all very new to me, this time I ordered a iced vanilla matcha and lasagna to have there. And took a cheezy broccoli soup, garlic scallion cream cheeze spread and 2 cookies (pumpkin and oatmeal) to go. I must admit the lasagna was sooooo good I stopped myself several times from getting up and asking if this was in fact all plant based. It was by far the best lasagna I have ever had. Then it hit me and I mean really hit me to the point of tears. As it dawned on me that that was in fact the first time in 38 years of life that I had ever had more then just a taste of lasagna! Even chasing it w several lactaid pills I always got super sick. So now sitting there having an entire serving and knowing it wasn't going to hurt me just broke me in the most grateful of ways. I was so embarrassed as I left smiling but with literal tears rolling down my face. Lol I reassured the owner it was genuine tears of joy and gratitude for establishments such as this one, for making moments like these possible for ppl like me.
