Meat Lovers omelette with wheat toast and home fries.

Today I went to The Egg Factory. My go to order here is the meat lovers or eaters omelette. Along with home fries and toast. I have come here a few times and they always do a good job. The omelette was very good and a great portion size. The home fries are some of the best I've ever had. The server was very nice and friendly making sure we enjoyed the food, and made sure our beverages were filled. When we were done he even asked us if we wanted refills the ambiance was like an old time diner. Definitely recommend you give them a visit. .

The sign says "the Best Eggs in town." More like the okayest eggs in town. The Ultimate Omelet is ok. They use American cheese and it's almost too ultimate for my taste. There's so many ingredients it's hard to taste the egg. But maybe that's your thing. However... Best grilled Biscuit in town 2nd best French Toast in town Large portions Also have great service. There can occasionally be a little line on Saturday mornings, but usually turns over within 15-20 minutes even if it is backed up.

Welcome to an amazing journey. Welcoming, pleasant, wholesome, honorable, and just playing down-to-earth good folks. And Mrs Stacy makes the whole place come together in my opinion, And we look forward to next weekend. and it's very affordable $$.

Hubby and I stopped into this place along the drive to the State Championship games. Nice little country style restaurant. The place was packed and had customers steadily coming and going while we were there. Good indication that this is a popular place, food must be good. I ordered the Messy Jessy Bowl and Hubby had the Factory Egg Platter with smoked sausage. My bowl was over the hill gooood. The onions, bell peppers, cheese, and gravy over the hash browns all came together so well. Full of flavor in every bite. Not lacking any seasoning in the gravy or anything. Was a huge bowl I couldn't finish it. Hubby enjoyed his meal as well. And of course he was my back up to help me finish my bowl. He said his meal was good, but my bowl was really good. So, if you're in the area or passing through, do yourself a favor and your taste buds, stop and grab a delicious breakfast at The Egg Factory, I know we'll be back.

The Bacon Smash, also comes with gravy on the side.

Always delicious food with great staff! Never had a bad meal. One of my favorite go to's for breakfast. Going here is a must! Large portions and great coffee . Very clean. A lot of locals gather here.

Came here after my daughter ran at Holloway Park was very glad we found Egg Factory. Growing up I had a breakfast spot and this is the closest I've ever come to finding something comparable. Great service incredibly friendly and helpful. Have both hash browns or home fries which is wonderful. Eggs, bacon and sausage gravy were perfectly cooked. Also fruit side was well put together. I would highly recommend and can't wait until my daughter races at Holloway so I have a reason to come back!

Imagine a classic, great hole-in-the-wall diner, and you will know exactly what the Egg Factory is. Such a hidden gem of a place! They have a lot of good breakfast and lunch options, all for ridiculously good prices considering the food is true quality. I got the steak tips with peppers and onions and it was oh so good. The steak was soft yet chewy, and when I added in the side order of eggs I got it was a fantastic meal, for super cheap! Their biscuits are nice too, super soft and not too dense. My dad got the chicken fried steak and he thoroughly enjoyed it. The coffee is pretty good as well. All of the staff was really kind and attentive to us and it was just a really laid-back, refreshing atmosphere. I'll be come back here for sure.

We came here Sunday, Valentine's Day morning. They were busy, but not swamped or overwhelmingly busy, with a steady flow in and out of customers dining in and taking out. There were always empty tables available the entire time we were there. Mum ordered the Greek Omelette with cheese grits and a biscuit. Hubby ordered the Meat Lovers Omelette with cheese grits and white toast. I ordered the two egg (scrambled) platter with cheese grits and a biscuit along with bacon and I added a cup of sausage gravy. For drinks we had water, Diet Pepsi and coffee. Pros: 1. The food is very good. The grits (unsalted) were very creamy and cooked perfectly. The biscuits were not house-made according to the waiter, but nice and fluffy. The omelettes were stuffed nicely, although the eggs were a bit overdone (brown). The bacon was nicely crisp. My scrambled eggs were perfection; they looked average but were so fluffy and light like they were about to float off my plate. The sausage gravy was nice and peppery. 2. My coffee was good. 3. Our waiter, Glen, was nice. Cons: 1. Cleanliness? The table was sticky. Everything needed a good wipe down. They were bussing tables but not wiping them down or sanitizing them. 2. Masks? Sigh. Our waiter wore one the whole time we were there. One waitress acted like she had just heard of masks and kept pulling her's up and down over her nose. The rest of the waitresses and the cashier never bothered to wear any. 3. Three of the waitresses got into a prolonged yelling match in the pickup area about who was telling who what to do. It was frankly embarrassing to witness, especially when it got to the whole "talk to the hand" business. 4. Our food came out in spurts with multiple people bringing it out because they got confused and rather lost. (Luckily the kitchen staff had made all of it and it was all sitting in the window waiting, it was just the wait staff that was confused.) 5. My coffee was served in a styrofoam cup because they had ran out of regular coffee mugs since there was no one there to wash them. Yes, that was literally what my waiter told me. It also took forever to get a second cup. They must have the coffee machine heat setting on very high because that second cup was almost undrinkable for a while; it was like lava hot. My husband, a rather forgiving person, even said that no matter how good the food is, isn't worth going back to a place like this. I have to agree. The food was good, but too many problems with The Egg Factory.

The Egg factory is a great place for a classic breakfast breakfast or lunch. Before the pandemic I would go once a week for a cheap breakfast before heading to work. (As stated in a precious tip the side of fruit is awesome! Best fresh cut fruit tray you can ask for) Today was the first time we ordered out from the egg factory in about a year. The food is still solid and service is fast. I had the ham club. Again solid. Toast was a little soggy but that's to be expected with takeout toasted sandwiches. No masks in sight on employees though. Some patrons but not many.

If you can find a way to get here though you absolutely should. I've been here a couple times and had people bring me things from here and I'm always very happy. My favorite thing I ever had here was a chocolate peanut butter pie, which was mind blowingly good. However, everything I've had from here has been pretty spectacular. I highly recommend the cookies here. I really love cookies, but their brown butter cookie is incredible. The pastries are really good too. I really enjoy the glazed croissant and I recently had a lemon twist that was very good. Finally, the sandwiches that I've had from here are both really good as well. I've only had the breakfast sandwiches, but I enjoyed the hot honey sausage biscuit and the bacon breakfast sandwich. 5 stars.

With how popular this spot is, I'm honestly surprised they don't have someone helping guide new customers through the ordering process. Even when ordering online, the atmosphere can feel pretty loud and hectic because of the crowds. That said, the food is amazing! I truly wish them the best because they definitely have something special. They just need to find a better way to manage the flow of customers and make the overall experience a little smoother.

We've been coming here for the better part of 10 years. Seriously, this place is fantastic. Today we came in just after the lunch rush. And what makes me write a review after all this time is because The Reuben has been added to their sandwich lineup. I am a sucker for a good Reuben. I love some of the various versions out there like a Grouper Reuben or a Turkey Reuben but there is nothing like an original. The bread is their marble rye which was already freakin fantastic; patty melts are phenomenal here. The ratio of corned beef and sauerkraut was spot on perfect. Don't you just hate it when it's out of balance? The cheese was perfectly melted and the dressing was oh so good. It was sandwich heaven. My apologies for having no pictures. I don't know if I was especially hungry today or what, but when the food hit the table the hubs and I dove straight in.

We finally got a table to share with other people. My Mom and my older brother Bill ordered the Corned Beef and Cabbage. They didn't warn him that the pancakes would be green, lol. We thought it was pretty funny, but he said they didn't taste that good. He loved the rest of his breakfast. I had the French toast and bacon with hashbrowns and scrambled eggs. I loved the French toast and bacon, but didn't like the hashbrowns and eggs. It was really hit or miss. The restaurant didn't seem very clean either. We had fun anyway.
