I hired VOG for hair and makeup services for my March 2024 wedding. I did my trial about 5 months ahead of time and Megan did my hair, while Tiffany did my makeup. Both of these gals are incredibly kind, talented, and great listeners! They both really took the time to understand what I wanted for each service. Once at my wedding, they both made sure to ask if there was anything that needed to be changed since my trial and accommodated accordingly. Honestly, I wanted to like this place, but I was disappointed in my experience here. I went in the Saturday of Labor Day weekend, and though I got a good final outcome, the vibes were not good. The receptionist was rude when I called asking where to park, then when I arrived, I used the restroom while waiting and she later accused me of messing with their automatic light switch (I did not) and said I "Messed it up for the next person." I am mostly happy with the final look of my highlights, but the stylist made it clear she was rushing to leave for her weekend plans. I also have a lot of breakage, random short pieces where they shouldn't be, and the blow dry process was EXCRUCIATING. She had the tiniest blow dryer I've ever seen, and I have a TON of almost waist length hair. Took nearly an hour just to blow dry. She was also pretty condescending when she talked to me and ultimately made me feel a little self-conscious. None of this is how a client who paid several hundred dollars should be treated. This place is cute, has a great location and I am happy with how my hair turned out, but I don't plan to return because of the people I interacted with. read more

ALICE IS AMAZING! I was referred to her by another stylist because she is the hair color pro! She was able to get red out of my daughter's hair in time to go back to school. She was so patient and kind and my daughter just loved her. I went back to her for a haircut and style and showed her a picture and she did such a great job. She took her time and gave me the exact cut I wanted! A few days later, I took my daughter in to get bangs for the first time and about 7" off. We showed Alice a picture and she nailed it! Samantha is an artist and a miracle-maker! Most people get extensions to make their hair extra-fabulous; I get them because I just want hair again. Let me explain. I have terrible hair genes, I used to have long, fine silky hair but after two kids in my 30's my hair never recovered, not with the gentlest treatment, not with vitamins and collagen, rogaine - nothing. This review is for on-site hair and makeup services for my April 2023 wedding. From the very beginning, with the initial inquiry for services, Veil of Grace was fantastic. Sydney is absolutely amazing, responsive, quick on everything, and incredibly kind. I reached out extremely early for my wedding, but coming off of COVID, I knew I was in a race against time and everyone else getting married. This didn't faze Sydney, Missy, or Angie during my trial and booking. They were all on board and extremely responsive. My trial went better than I could have imagined, and I hired the team on the spot - I didn't even consider anyone else. I had never felt like my makeup, or my hair had ever looked so good, and I've had a number of professional teams provide both services during my life. Angie just GOT my hair vision, and was an expert, including recommending adding a headpiece to really bring the look. Missy brought my makeup dreams to life and was incredibly meticulous with every powder, potion, lash, and liner. I was SO relieved to see them on the day of my wedding. Even though almost a year and a half had passed since my trial (I know, I told you I was early on the game), I felt TOTALLY at ease. I KNEW these ladies had my back. My bridal party, my mom, and her friend all looked fantastic. I immediately cried upon seeing my hair, and my makeup; both were even better than my trial, and better than anything I could have imagined, provided inspiration photos for, or hoped for. The gals were kind and flexible with touchups, and really made sure everyone was 100% perfect and ready to go. Outside of a tiny veil hiccup which happened due to my mother placing the veil because the photographers took too long with it and Angie had to leave, everything else was absolutely perfect in every single way. I was also incredibly, incredibly amazed that my hair and makeup looked picture perfect at 2 am after hours of eating, drinking, crying, dancing, laughing, hugging folks, and more. EVERYTHING stayed absolutely perfect, and I couldn't have been happier. If you are considering hiring any of the team members of Veil of Grace, PLEASE do so. It is a lovely, modern, clean and well appointed Salon. Everyone who works their is kind and helpful... I despise salons where everyone is just too cool to be real and helpful. I booked a cut and color with Bri and it was transforming. I gave her the look I wanted and really appreciated when she asked me what I would not want to be done with my hair...I have never been asked that before. Not only did she cut and color my hair but went on to patiently show me how to style it...I have never had that done before. My hair was tired, uneven and a bit orange at the ends (Hey, I am busy...we are all busy). It turned out AMAZING and I will never go to another person for my styling EVER! Amazing customer service!! All of the hair stylists and the makeup artist were super friendly did an amazing job. We had them style us at home for my daughter and niece's first communions and they had a beautiful first experience getting their hair professionally done. A week before the event they contacted me to inform me the MUA was going to have another event right after ours and needed to leave a bit earlier. We had no problem with that and just said we could move our appointments earlier.
