I have been Julie's client for the past 4 years and if I could give her 10 stars I would. I have lived in the area for 16 years and was sooo happy when I found her! Sadly I moved out of state a year ago and tried several stylists in the state I live in now, and things when from bad to worse. I was used to Julie's expertise not only in coloring but also cutting my hair. Nobody could even compare . After my last stylist visit I literally ended up with hair that looked like cotton candy. It was terrible, i was beyond upset. When our hair doesn't look good, no matter how good your make up is or how cute your clothes are, nothing looks good. My husband suggested why not go back and see Julie? We are only a six hour drive away and so I did and I'm beyond happy and grateful I did. With just one visit Julie was able to revive my hair, it was silky and shiny again, my color turned out beautifully and my hair cut was so perfect, as always, that all I have to do is wash, dry and style and with a shake of my head my hair just falls perfectly into place. I now come to see Julie every so many weeks and I don't care how long my drive is. Julie is the best stylist I've ever had. Her expertise and talent is unmatched. I love the color she uses, not only does it look great but my scalp feels fantastic. Having an appointment with Julie is like coming to spend time with family. The atmosphere in her salon is so relaxing , and if that doesn't get you her head massage most certainly will. The hair color she uses is stellar. Wow. Where do I begin? Yesenia (hair dresser) and Genesis (make up artist) were amazing on my wedding day! (November 12,2022) I needed a salon local to my wedding reception and this place had great reviews. So I did the Bridal trial and loved it! I used the online portal throughout the process and it made everything super simple. Yesenia and Genesis showed up on time and ready on my wedding day morning. I contacted them a month ago to schedule a test day for hair and makeup for my upcoming wedding. I received an email asking all kinds of questions about what I needed from them. When I told them they would only be doing hair and makeup for ME, I got no response. Crickets. I emailed with a follow up eleven days later, and was told she was out of town and would contact me when she's back. More crickets. She's been back, according to her email, for two weeks, and STILL haven't heard anything. I don't know how many people work in this shop, but they're too busy for a single bride. Apparently, you are only worth their time if you have MULTIPLE people they're doing hair/makeup for. Would never recommend this business. read more

I took my daughter to their Daddy Daughter Date and has such an amazing time. It was the perfect date to spend quality, hands on time with my daughter. I was able to learn a few new styles and skills like french braiding my daughter's hair. I am so excited to practice this summer and show off when I can make her hair so pretty for school. Julie and her girls were so welcoming. We were greeted with a nice note and a little gift basket of tools - 2 combs, a brush, hair clips, hair bands, bobby pins, and nail polish. Our little ones were offered water or juice, and the dads were offered sodas or a beer (to calm our nerves) We got started with a simple (not for me) pony tail and braid. We got shown how to do a neat bun and utilize the bobby pins (hair dressers duct tape as I learned ). At this point it was time for a break. Girls hair is hard work. We were fed pizza for lunch (A + for Hayley running out to get my little girl some ranch dressing ) We finished up lunch wit a couple of cookies and then it was time to for the second round. I got taught how to french braid...which is not as easy as it looks, but I was so proud of myself. The hair dressers were so encouraging and I'm pretty sure I impressed them with my mad hair skills I also learned the "up-doo" or whatever it is called which is all the rage these days. My daughter really loves that I can do her hair as good as mommy now. This was such a fun and memorable experience for such a low price I would do it again in a heart beat. If Perfect Day, Perfect Look starts offering a more advanced class, I will need to retake 101 for a refresher for sure. Thanks again for the tips/tricks/and skills. I have been getting my lashes done with Devon for about 6 months now. I was struggling so much to find a good person to do lashes in Santa Clarita and then my friend recommended me to her. She is absolutely amazing. I am never disappointed when I walk out of the salon. She is very sweet and makes sure you are loving your lashes before you leave. I decided to take a break from my lashes for about a month and when I got them taken off my natural lashes were still full and healthy, which I have had issues with other salons in the past with this. This is a hidden gem. I can't say enough about the nice & very talented people here. I needed a spray tan, hair & makeup for my sisters wedding & only gave them about 2 weeks lead time. Julie, the owner, went out of her way to schedule appointments for me. The spray tan artist, Tamra, accommodated my need for a 7 pm appointment & did a fantastic job. Nothing short of amazing!! First let me share what I did wrong before hiring this company. For my wedding day I hired a make up artist that I had done a lot of research and interviews to identify. Unfortunately all of that due diligence was all for nothing. At 6:18 AM the morning before my wedding I got a message from my make up artist unrelated to this company. She had a bunch of extra fees she wanted to add on because she had no money in her bank account she candidly told me. After couple of hours arguing back-and-forth with her to get her to keep her original agreement I fired her. I mediately called my wedding coordinator Dianne with At Last Event planning. She immediately referred me to this company. Within an hour I had booked Devon for the most important day of my life. Still on pins and needles and nervous having not been able to do any research I had to just trust that this was going to go well. Each step of the way the owner and Devon checked in with me to to make sure that her arrival would be seamless and they had everything that they needed. She was a polished professional with an easy disposition that lightened the mood of the room as soon as she walked in! Not only was my look everything and more that I had hoped for but she also added some finishing touches that completed masterfully the look. My make up lasted from 10 AM until midnight. I am already making plans to visit their salon and utilize their services on a regular basis! My sister in law and I came here back in January to get our hair done for a wedding and we both left very satisfied. My sister in law just had her hair curled and I did a full blown up do. This salon is a bunch of crooks. First they get Brittany to put in bad extensions brand , WRONG. Then a few days later after you have been taking care of your hair doing what she said, which was also wrong lol you start to see the glue spread like wildfire and rats nests appear everywhere After that you try and comb through it. No help from her still. She'll be busy for a while so it gets worse than it is. Then when you finally see her she makes it worse! Doesn't fix anything! Blames it on YOU! She doesn't do refunds or do it right make it better. Awful crook of a lady. I'm currently in the legal process for her taking my money and doing a dishonest service. She offers no solutions and charges astronomical prices. Makes sense because she just started extensions. Don't do something and ruin someone's hair 6 inches off if you don't know what you're doing.
