We came on time at 11am on Fathers Day. Booked this month's in advanced. Stood in line for over an hour. Got there and they had my husband's reservation and said thry didnt have mine. They see our Groupon and we paid for 2 people but they wouldnt honor it. Noone is in the office so they couldn't confirm the reservation. Its disorganized amd just a mess. We've been here for 3 hours for a 2 minute experience for my husband. As a business owner, sometimes you just have to do the right thing. That isnt this business. I would never do this again amd sadly its taking away from my husband's Fathers Day experience and 3 hours plus the driving time to get here and back home, 5 hours in all. read more

This was by far the coolest birthday gift for my son. I purchased the ride along for my son's 17th birthday at the Port St Lucie, Fl location. It was a total surprise gift and boy was he surprised when we got there and saw the amazing line up of fast exotic cars. Both drivers he rode with (he drove two cars) were amazing! They were friendly, knowledgeable of the cars they were driving and had great personalities. They made the ride alongs super fun and fast which was the whole point.. lol. Check in was ok and it wasn't a long wait in Rutherford NJ. The people were polite. It was good that I could pick the car I wanted and there was a good selection of high-performance cars to choose from. What I didn't like was the constant bickering of the driving coach. Even when I wasn't driving fast, I was being told to slow down. Then at the end of the lap I am being told to drive 20 mph. Really? There is only one part of the track that you can push the car. Also, I suspect the car was put in a non-performance mode to limit the response. When I finished, my wife said that I seemed to be driving slow. read more

Beyond terrible! My mom bought three Groupons for me, my dad, and uncle and we went today to redeem it and what a waste of a day it was. First off, we waited on line an hour to check in. When we got to the counter, we were met with one of the rudest persons I've ever come across. Right off the bat we had to pay $25 each for not scheduling ahead of time. Ok, whatever, maybe that was her fault for not reading the fine print. Then the dude had the nerve to charge us $40 each for insurance, which wasn't anywhere in the fine print of the Groupon. If you know you're gonna charge people extra for insurance, then why not bake it into your price so they know what they're getting into? Now let's talk about the actual driving experience. These guys basically found a parking lot and laid out some cones and dubbed it an 'autocross'. Beyond lame, especially for driving enthusiasts. How are you going to enjoying driving a supercar when you have all but 500 feet to accelerate. Save your money and rent one of these cars for a day! read more

Let me start off by saying I had a good time. It's hard to be unhappy behind the wheel of a supercar, am I right? That being said, could it have been better? Absolutely. I came into today's event knowing what to expect. Other reviewers on here are living in a fantasy land with their expectations. It's up to you to do your due diligence when spending your money, that's no fault of the business. Now that that's out of the way, let's get to the actual review. I pulled up at 8:45 AM for my 9 AM appointment. Line moved pretty slow, but nothing horrible. I finally begin checking in and tell the guy I'd like to drive the 458 and the Huracán. To my surprise he states I only have a single car booked. After insisting I paid for two cars, I decided to just show him my email confirmation and we'd be done. Nope, he gets another person to help (owner?) and somehow I'm standing there for another 20 minutes waiting for him to verify something I already paid for (and provided proof of). I get it, things happen. A simple apology for the confusion would have sufficed, but it was just completely disregarded. The real issue here and why I'm writing this review in the first place is because of the experience I had with my second instructor. I get in the car and within 15 seconds (I hadn't even put my seatbelt on yet), a woman comes over and lets the instructor know that there is a long line for the Huracán. I pull out my phone and ask if I can take a picture real quick of the interior but he says no, that was the reason the woman came over in the first place. You could literally feel the vibe change. No briefing, no picture, not even a second to take in the interior of this car. Tells me to put in second and leave it there, that was the extent of our conversation before hitting the track. When we finished, as I'm pulling into the staging area there's people taking pictures where I'm supposed to park. We end up sitting there for about a minute, so when I finally pull up I'm thinking to myself, if we waited a minute for these people surely I can take a quick picture of the interior. So I say I'm just going to take a 5 second picture and no joke this guy starts verbally counting the seconds. He gets up to 8 seconds and then says, "So much for 5 seconds". Seriously? Basically what it comes down to is you're paying for an experience. People come for a variety of reasons. Some come to get pictures, some come to drive, and some are enthusiasts who come to enjoy the whole experience. Personally, I would have liked to have at least a minute to experience the interior and get a feel for what I'm about to drive. After all, it's not every day you get to drive a supercar. A little customer service and less rush would have went a long way. read more

When you rent a super car your seeking a different driving experience, you want to be able to push its limits without violating any rules and regulations of course but this wasn't the case here. If you decide to waste your money with these people, avoid crew members like HENRY, miserable people that can't see others having a good time should not be allowed in this field of work, I paid for 5 laps and was cut short without a refund for my other 2 laps on my birthday because MR HENRY decided to pull me to the side because my car was slightly drifting (controllably) due to the rainy weather conditions. I bought a ride along experience for my son for Christmas this year while they were in the Jacksonville Florida area. My son was so excited for this and would not stop talking about it leading up to it. We scheduled for a 2 o'clock drive time. We arrived early at around 130. Got all checked in and walked to the track to watch the cars while we wait from them to call our name. At no point during the check in did they mention that two of their cars broke down and were out of commission for the day and wait times were increased. No big deal as I understand things happen and it was super unfortunate. My son still was excited to ride in a Lamborghini. So we wait around for an hour, then two. I randomly check in to see where we are at in line. Well then another stoke of bad luck as their McLarens tire is too damaged to drive and is no longer safe. And they didn't have a spare to change it. So they give an announcement that they are down to one car and times will now increase even more. They offered to reschedule when they come back in the fall! No refund option just reschedule. But my son who was looking forward to this wanted to wait. Long story short we ended up waiting 4 and a half hours to ride. Then they shorted my sons ride a lap and only did two laps after I purchased 3. I told them that but told me no they did three laps. As I tried to tell them they only did two and I can show them with the video I took one of the track employee where the event was held interrupted and asked when they will be done as they closed at 4. It was now 530. And that was the end of my conversation with them. Super disappointed. To top it off while we were waiting we were chatting with one of the staff and he said he will ask and see if my son can go take pictures with the Porsche and my son was all about it but then nothing. So we waited for 4 and a half hour for 2 laps and promised pics that were not fulfilled. No offers to say sorry or make the situation right. Just very disappointing. Will never do this experience again with this company. I know this was a series of unfortunate events but they did nothing to make it right especially for my son. read more

Don't listen to the bad reviews. Staff was friendly, professional, warm and informative. They let you gun the throttle on their Cone track, however if you're looking for a track experience, you should go to a racetrack, which is way more expensive whether you bring your car or rent one. I selected the Somerset NY location off 287 which is smaller, as the Meadowlands Cone track is 4 times larger so longer straight away for more gear shifts and speed. Waits were long for the Lamborghini and Ferrari, so I selected the Nissan GT-R and went within 15 minutes of my arrival. Great car! Super fast! read more

To all those negative reviews - WOW.. they are not decepitve at all - the emails leading up to the event are VERY clear that you aren't getting license to drive 200+ MPH in an all out free-for-all. Track driving in a Lambo or any of these cars for your average driver would be insane. Now that's out of the way - on the the AWESOME. The entire experience was phenomenal. My wife bought me (30) and my dad (67 year old) the 7 lap with photo and shirt for Christmas. I've been so excited for this, and the event did not disappoint. We were on the last schedule of the day, 4pm, so it was pretty light when we got there. Signed in, paid for some add-ons, and we were off. I drove a Ferrari California, Dad drove a Lambo LP560. Yes, you stay in Second or automatic the whole time, but still see speeds of at least 90 MPH in a very short track. It's called controlled and safe fun. Would I love to go out on a track - Sure! But do you ever get to take your Ford or Kia up to 90 MPH (legally) and have some fun on a controlled track? No! My dad lived 67 years and never got to take a car like this out and have some fun. Well worth that alone. I even added on the LP560 and got photos and videos for both. Loved every minute. The laps were about 3 minutes long, but the experience is a lifetime of fun. You don't get to do this everyday unless your some sort of millionaire or rent luxury cars for fun. I would highly recommend the event to anyone looking for a really awesome time. The sounds and feeling of the cars is something you can't get elsewhere. We were very lucky that the weather was so great today too, so it was really an all around fun time. The owner was on-site and very friendly as was all the staff. They are professional from start to finish and ensure everyone has a great time on their tracks. Our track was the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, and would recommend to anyone! Remember - READ the fine print - no where did it say you'd be on a race track at unrestricted speeds. I took my 11 yr old Grandson here today at MetLife stadium for a ride with a professional driver for his 11 th birthday . What a great experience , they were absolutely great, courteous, friendly and helpful. We arrived at 11:45 am even though we had a 1 pm reservation we came early so he could watch and enjoy the cars with riders and drivers . After a few minutes he was so anxious to ride , I asked if he could go early and they said " Of Course ". We were given a ticket and we waited for our turn . While we waited he saw a couple people that chose to ride with a professional driver instead of driving themselves and there was one gentleman that stood out to my grandson as a driver , we requested him and they were very nice about it and gladly let him Drive my grandson . A strong four stars, maybe four and a half. I found the Philadelphia/Wells Fargo event to be a thoroughly enjoyable and well run event. I had received a 7 lap drive as a Father's Day gift, and my oldest granddaughter had been given a 2 lap ride-along for her birthday (she waited her turn with the rest of us who drove, and when her card came up right after mine in the stack is when she went). Everything I needed to know was available either on the Eventbrite page linked to in the confirmation email (you had to scroll down below the ticket type section) or in the information that was emailed separately during the week before the event. Insurance and video options, availability of water, everything except where to find the porta-potties. We both opted for the Lamborghini, and yes, there was a longer line for this car. But as kind of a bucket-list opportunity, a little time spent watching (and picking up where the course went) wasn't a hardship - experiences like this are partly what you yourself make them out to be. Especially once I noticed a sign offering 5 additional laps (at a very reasonable upcharge) that could be taken in either the same car or a different one. So I opted for the extra 5, in the Ferrari, with the insurance (because as an occasional autocrosser I wasn't going to just cruise through the cones), plus the video option. I also brought along my own GoPro, for a slightly different video perspective. Not surprisingly, the Ferrari drive came up first, and even accounting for some difficulty in getting the camera to read the chip, there was still a little free time between it and the Lamborghini drive. Ultimately, I also drove the Porsche, getting to drive three different exotics as hard as I felt comfortable doing for about the same cost as a single month's payment on a new Corvette. Not recommended! What a ripoff / scam! My girlfriend bought me 4-laps with Velocity Driving at the Richmond International Raceway as a birthday gift. I was really excited until I actually made it to the track. FYI, you don't actually drive on the track. You drive on a cone course in the parking lot of the Richmond International Raceway. It's extremely deceptive to advertise the experience as being at the track when all the driving takes place in the parking lot. Honestly, this event could take place at any parking lot but they advertise it in such away that you think it's taking place on an actual track. They even show pictures of actual race tracks and road courses on their website and denote driving the cars on a "private track". Based on the other reviews it appears this is a common tactic for Velocity Driving. Once you arrive you go to a little trailer to sign in and then they try to scam you into buying insurance coverage which cost an additional $40. While they mention this coverage on their website they don't post the pricing. They have a large cone on display along with broken pieces of bumper plastic with the warning that you will be responsible for any and all damages. It was a fairly cold day so they really tried to sell the fact that the cold weather would make it easier for the bumper plastic to break from the cones. In actuality the cones are all of three inches tall and it probably wouldn't scratch the car if you ran over a continuous line of them at 100+ miles per hour. It's frustrating to think of all the people they scammed with this scare tactic. On to the driving experience. The entire course was maybe 1/10th of a mile long, maybe, and you never got out of second gear due to the short length of the one and only straight. Even with super car acceleration I would be amazed if I cracked 85mph on the straight. My girlfriend recorded all four of my laps and it took a grand total of 1 minute and 48 seconds start to finish. 1 minute and 48 seconds! The cost for all this excitement...... $200 dollars. Thank god my girlfriend got a groupon and only paid $89 but even at that price it was a complete rip off. My girlfriend felt terrible that it was such a let down and I truly feel bad for anyone who actually paid full price. Overall the entire experience was a complete and utter disappointment. I would never, ever, do it again nor would I recommend it to anyone. I reached higher speeds on the interstate on my way to this so called "driving experience". Unless your goal is the ability to say that you drove a "911" or a "lambo" find another way to spend your hard earned money. Even then I still couldn't recommend it. Get a part time job as a valet or go to a car show and the experience would be better. In closing, I truly cannot express just how crappy the whole experience was. If you are thinking about doing this driving experience just don't. A can assure you that nothing but disappointment lies ahead. read more

I did this at the Nassau Coliseum in LI NY. You don't drive on a race track, you drive in a parking lot. I didn't make it out of second gear and was told not to shift at all. I got to maybe 50 mph. Worst Customer Service EVER! Do not sign up for this and waste your money. I bought my boyfriend the velocity driving experience for his birthday. I paid full price and scheduled his appointment for 12pm in November. I paid for this in AUGUST! When we got to the event, the staff were rude and told him they could not guarantee when he would get to ride the car. They said it could be up to 2-3 hours wait in the rain. We left as we had other things we needed to do and would come back. I called to try to change the date and they were not helpful at all stating they would not let him come on another date. They said "Why are you complaining, you are the only one complaining." I couldn't believe the poor customer service. They would not help us at all and let other people who paid that day go before us in line even though I had a scheduled appointment. The car choices are poor. They only had four cars and one was a NIssan. Who wants to spend $150 to drive a NIssan?! They were rude and the course is a joke. Don't waste your money!!!! read more

Great experience overall. The owner was there and he was so nice. Everyone who is leaving bad reviews probably gave attitudes or didnt read the website correctly because when i ordered it i knew exactly what i was walking into and was fully prepared. On the website it isn't advertising an NASCAR racetrack its more like an auto cross racetrack the cars were absolutely beautiful i fell in love with them and so did my boyfriend!!
