Every year, he handles my tax return with great care and precision--nothing is overlooked, and he always makes sure everything is done thoroughly and correctly. What I appreciate most is his consistency and reliability. No matter how busy the season gets, Jeff remains patient, responsive, and highly attentive to every detail. That level of professionalism is rare and truly builds trust over time. Because of my positive experience, I also referred a friend's company to Jeff for their business tax needs. They were extremely grateful for the introduction and even told me that Jeff has been a "financial lifesaver" for their company. He helped them navigate complex situations and brought clarity and structure to their finances. If you're looking for someone who is knowledgeable, trustworthy, and genuinely cares about his clients, I highly recommend Jeff. It's not easy to find a CPA you can rely on year after year, but Jeff is definitely one of them.

What really matters in those situations is how a company handles it afterward, and that is where this experience completely fell apart. My taxes may have been filed correctly, but the communication was not clear. I did not want 2026 quarterly estimated tax payments set up, and I never understood that this was what was happening. I believed the amounts shown were a payment plan for my 2025 taxes, not separate 2026 estimated payments. Because of the language barrier and the lack of a clear explanation, I did not understand what I was agreeing to. As a result, more money was taken from my account than I expected, which caused me to become overdrafted. When I reached out to get help resolving the issue, I was hoping they would at least acknowledge the misunderstanding and try to make it right in some way. Instead, when I spoke with William at the end, he was very unhelpful and basically made me feel like I was just out of luck. I was told there was nothing they could do, that I needed to deal with my bank myself to block future payments, and that they would not offer even a partial refund. That response is a big part of why I decided to leave this review. If they had simply handled the miscommunication better, shown some understanding, and at least offered a partial refund or some effort to make things right, I honestly think I would have been okay. On top of that, I feel the $700 fee was too high for the level of service and communication I received. Accuracy is important, but so is making sure your client actually understands what is being filed and what payments are being set up. Overall, I left this experience feeling confused, unsupported, and financially stressed. I understand mistakes can happen, but the way this was handled afterward was unacceptable. I would not use this firm again.

This was greatly appreciated because I do not keep my eye on the mortgage rate market since I am terrible at financial planning. Alan saved me over $200+ each month on my mortgage payments and all the closing costs were covered by the credit union. An incredible deal. Alan made the process seamless for me and explained all the technical details. Whenever I had a question about the technical jargon, Alan would break it down for me in layman's terms. I am a big believer in nonprofit banking, so it felt really great to not only refinance with a credit union but to also know that my mortgage remains with the credit union for the remainder of its term.

When I tried to explain my income, which includes SSI disability benefits and IHSS paystubs, she repeatedly interrupted me and spoke in a disrespectful tone. She even said she didn't know what SSI was. I understand that future hours cannot be counted, but I was only trying to explain my actual verified income and offer my documents. Instead of helping me or giving clear guidance, she blamed me for listing my full income and left me feeling talked down to. Her attitude was unprofessional and dismissive, especially considering that I was only asking for fair consideration of disability and caregiving income. I hope management reviews this situation carefully and ensures applicants are treated with respect, whether in person or over the phone.
